Jealous

20th-

On Sunday Jessica headed to the airport to pick up Frankie and his two sisters. Jessica was so excited to see all of them, she spent a lot of time with the three of them while she was in Greece. Fortunately there wasn't a language barrier, Frankie and his sisters are bilingual.

**

"Jessica!" A deep voice yells from baggage claim.

Jessica quickly shifts her body and looks ahead. She sees a tall, skinny, curly haired man waving his hands back and fourth.

Jessica's body filled with excitement as she ran into Frankie's arms. He picked her up spinning her around.

"Oh my gosh, it's you!" She squeals

"And it's you! My favorite American!"

"I'm so happy to see the three of you!" Jessica smiles greeting his sisters Louisa and Victoria.

"You look great, Jessica." Louisa says hugging her

"Thank you, the same goes to you. This week is going to be so much fun." Jessica jumps

"This is our first time in America too." Victoria says

"That's right, so I have to make this extra special."

**

After Jessica picked them up from the airport they took a taxi to their hotel room to get them checked in. Louisa and Victoria shared a room and Frankie had his own. Jessica went up to Frankie's room.

"You look beautiful, as always." He says softly

Jessica blushes "Thank you..."

"You left too soon. You made my summer so memorable."

"You did too, that's why I spent most of my time in Greece."

Jessica sits at the edge of the bed and sighs as Frankie puts his clothes in the closet.

"Are you okay?" He says turning to Jessica who was a bit discouraged.

"I guess I'm just so confused."

"About what?" He drops his bag and sits next to her putting his hand on her lower thy.

Jessica looks at his hand then places hers on top.

"Do you remember that man I was talking to you about? The man that I've loved for so long, ever since high school."

"Yes, I remember. You had some great stories to tell."

"Well he's the same man that's going to tour New York with us this week. I'm excited to see him, but I'm nervous."

"You're nervous because you still have feelings for him."

"How did you know?"

"Why else would you be nervous to have him visit?"

"True... We've had a long road. We just started rebuilding a friendship again. It's a good friendship. What if I ruin that with a relationship?"

"Does he want more then a friendship? You won't ruin a friendship if you two love each other."

Jessica closes her eyes and inhales. "I think so."

"I say follow your heart Jessica." Frankie moves his hand away and hugs Jessica.

"Frankie.... The love you gave me this summer, it was amazing. You're a great man, but-"

Frankie interrupts her and puts his finger on her lip. "I know... It's okay, we don't even live in the same country. We are friends, close friends."

"Thank you for understanding."

*knock*

"I think that's Louisa and Victoria ready to go out to lunch!"

"Let's get a move on and begin our tour!"

**

23rd-

After work Jessica would go to Frankie's hotel room to go site seeing and hang out with him and his sisters. Sometimes the girls would do their own thing but Frankie would wait for Jessica or stay near the hotel room.

After a few days Danny was on his way out. Jessica was just as excited to see Danny but she was nervous too.

Frankie and his sisters went site seeing while Jessica went to go pick up Danny.

"Danny!"

"Jess!" Danny smiles hugging Jessica.

They stare into each other's eyes then Jessica breaks the silence.

"How was the flight over?"

"Just fine, it was all worth it." He hugs Jessica again. She clears her throat and smiles.

"It's nice to see you in person instead of FaceTime or text message." Jessica giggles

"Yea... we still have fun on FaceTime."

Jessica and Danny walk outside to wait for a taxi.

Jessica takes Danny to his hotel that he planned on staying at near Jessica's apartment.

When he got there all of the rooms were taken.

"Shit, is there any other hotels near by that aren't packed?"

"My apartment." Jessica says

"Jess..."

"I'd love for you to stay with me. And it would be easier, you know. When we meet up with Frankie and his sisters we can just go together instead of going one place to another."

"Are you sure?"

"Yes!"

**

"You're apartment is gorgeous." Danny says

"Thank you... let me take your bags."

"Where did you want me to sleep?"

"My couch pulls out into a bed, so I can set that up for you."

"Oh, okay! Let me do it, I don't want to be a burden."

Jessica stops and turns to Danny. "You're never a burden...

To the left is the bathroom. The right is my room if you ever need me. Obviously the kitchen which we are standing in, the living room connected to it, the balcony, and the room off the the side is my studio. Don't go in there!" Jessica says sternly

Danny chuckles at Jessica and smiles. "Okay, thank you again."

"I'll let you get settled in. Then we can meet Frankie and his sisters at Starbucks in thirty minutes!" Jessica starts walking towards her room but Danny stops her.

"Jess" he says

"Yea?"

"This Frankie guy, I'm just curious as to how you know him."

"Oh, well I spent a lot of time with him in Greece. He gave me a tour of Greece. He made it very memorable. I told him that anytime he wants him and his sisters can fly to the states and I will give them a tour around New York."

"That's nice of you."

"Don't worry, Danny. We can still spend time together just you and I."

"I'm not trying to be an attention hog, I was just curious. Sorry if it sounded rude."

"Don't apologize! You just asked a question." Jessica smirks

"I have one more."

"Yes?"

"Were you guys a thing?"

Jessica sighs and crosses her arms. "We are just friends."

Frankie and Jessica did get together a few times when she was in Greece, but it was nothing serious. Jessica loved Frankie, but not in that way.

**

A few hours later Jessica and Danny went to Starbucks to meet up with Frankie and his sisters. Jessica had the feeling in her stomach. She was scared for Danny and Frankie to meet. Deep down inside she knew that Danny wasn't very ecstatic to meet Frankie but he would still be kind and polite. She wanted to try not to think about Danny being jealous, because there was no reason for him to be jealous.

"Jessie! Over here!" Frankie exclaims

Jessica waves her hand and looks at Danny.

"Hey guys! I'd like you all to meet a good friend of mine. His name is Danny."

"Great to meet you Danny, I've herd lots of great things." Frankie smiles holding out his hand. Danny nods and harshly shakes his hand.

"It's nice to meet you too." He smiles awkwardly.

Jessica takes a deep breath and looks at his sisters.

"Danny, this is Louisa and Victoria. Frankie's sisters."

"Great to meet you, Danny." They both say happily

"Nice to meet you too. I'm excited to 'tour' around New York with all of you."

**

As they tour around the city they take a break for a while. They had done so much walking that they grew a bit tired. They decided to sit in Central Park watching some street dancers.

Louisa turned to Jessica who sat on the park bench and began to chuckle.

Jessica looks at her with a smile.

"Watching these people dance makes me remember something." Louisa says trying to contain her laugh.

"What's that?" Jessica smiles

"Your last week in Greece. My mother threw a big dance party before you left... that was a great night."

"Haha! Jessica and Frankie danced together like no one has never danced before." Victoria adds

Jessica turns to Frankie and giggles.

Danny stood there watching Jessica's reaction and seeing how happy and flirty she was. Danny knew there was history between Frankie and Jessica, but he tried to shake it off.

"That was fun, but let's be honest. I was the better dancer." Frankie says proudly

"No way!" Jessica stands up and crosses her arms.

Frankie stands up and wraps his arms around Jessica as they slowly dance to the music.

Danny became a bit jealous seeing Jessica dance with him.

After a few minutes they stopped and Jessica breathed heavily. "I'm still the better dancer."

"The one thing I remember about that night is after a few hours Jessica and Frankie disappeared! We couldn't find them." Victoria says

Jessica's smile disappears and she clears her throat. She looks at Frankie and his smile was gone too. They both knew exactly what had happened that night.

Danny looked at Jessica, shocked. She had lied to him about ever getting together with Frankie.

Danny stood up and fixed his jacket.

"I think it's getting late, maybe we should head back?"

Frankie stands up and shakes his head. "I agree with Danny."

"Alright! Let's get a move on then." Jessica looks at Danny desperately, hoping that he could forget about what was just right up.

**

After they dropped off Frankie and his sisters at their hotel Danny and Jessica got a ride back to her place. The ride over was a bit quite and Danny seemed a little bit on edge.

When they got to her apartment Danny started walking up the stairs. When he went to open the main lobby door Jessica wasn't there. She was at the bottom of the stairs with her arms crossed staring at Danny.

Danny sighed and walked back down the stairs.

Jessica sat on the last stair and he sat beside her.

"Danny... I don't want you to be mad. You can't be mad at me. We aren't together and it was my choice." She says sadly

"I'm not mad, but I wish you hadn't lied to me."

"I didn't think it was your business. And how was I suppose to know how you'd react. You'd think I'm some kind of slut."

"That's not true. I would never think that about you."

"You got jealous. You can't get jealous."

"Why not?"

"Because you aren't my boyfriend! Neither is Frankie, he's just a friend. Yes we had sex but it shouldn't mean anything to you." She says breathlessly

"Alright.... But I can't help but get jealous. I don't know why, but I just can't. Seeing you two dance in the park made me think about how we used to do that. Just seeing you with another man, dating or not dating... well it's hard." Danny turns to Jessica and sees that she had a tear rolling down her cheek.

"I've lied to you about a lot, and I'm sorry. I never meant to lie. I should have just told you when you asked." Jessica begins to cry even more.

"Don't do that to yourself Jessica..."

"It's true!"

"I should have never asked, it was never any of my business, I should apologize." Danny pulls
Jessica close to him and holds her.

He knew that she was brining up the summer of senior year, the baby, and her leaving.

Jessica's emotions flowed out, and her curiosity ate her alive. There was a question Jessica held back from asking. She decided to ask Danny...

"Ever since I told you, how have you been?" Jessica looks up at Danny.

"Honestly, I've thought about it everyday."

"You have?"

"Yea. I mean when I talk to you sometimes I'll think what life would have been like if we had our baby. I also think about the pain you went through alone, and how I could make that up
To you."

"I think about it a lot too. What kind of house we would live in, what he'd look like, and how happy we would have been. But we weren't ready for a baby, Danny. And you don't have to make it up to me, okay?"

"You would have been a great mother. I know it."

Jessica bites her lip and nods holding onto Danny. He saw that it was becoming a bit painful for her and he decided to change the subject back.

Danny nods and takes her hand. "I'm sorry about the jealously thing. Frankie's a good guy. I never meant to give you a hard time or make things awkward."

"He'll never compare to you, Danny. You have nothing to worry about." Jessica grins

"I mean we aren't a thing or anything. Still..."

"I know, I think I'd be the same way if I saw you with another women. When Louisa was all over you today I was kinda getting nervous. Is that bad?"

"Of course not..." Danny chuckles

"What does this mean?"

"What does what mean?"

"Our jealously? Are we doing it because...." Jessica pauses for a moment when Danny starts to nod.

"I think we are..."
