MASAYANG nakikipag-usap si Avis sa pasyente niya nang biglang pumasok si Caleb sa loob ng Clinic niya at agad na dumeretso sa maliit na kwarto kung saan siya nag u-ultrasound. Avis walked towards the small room inside, hinawi niya ang kurtina at wala sa sariling napangiti nang makita na natutulog si Caleb. But he looks uncomfortable with his position, nakaupo ito at nakasandal ang ulo sa pader.

"Caleb?" She softly called his name and tapped his thigh. Her heart raced when he open his eyes and directly look at her. Malamig man ang titig nito, sapat na 'yon para magkagulo ang sistema niya. She's not a teenager anymore to feel this kind of 'butterflies in my stomach' thing.

"Tired? You should rest, hindi ba nagpalagay si Tita ng hospital bed sa office mo? Bakit hindi ka muna natulog doon?" Sunod sunod na tanong niya rito.

Caleb yawned. "I don't even know why I'm here." Narinig niyang bulong nito.

Avis licked her lower lips to stop herself from smiling. Siguradong dala lang ng antok kaya napadpad ito sa clinic niya. Minsan nakakalimutan na niya na Doctor din si Caleb, masyado din itong hands on sa hospital.

"Edi bumalik ka sa office mo? Mas magiging komportable ka doon. I only have the sofa and..." Tumingin siya sa inuupuan na kama ni Caleb. It's too small for him, lalo na at malaking tao si Caleb.

"Fine. Can you do me a favor?" His voice was low and raspy. Tumaas ang kilay niya sa lalaki at tumango. "Caliber must be around, tell him I need my sleeping pills this instant." Caleb said and stood up.

"You should stop using pills, hindi mo ba kaya matulog na hindi umiinom non?" Naiinis na tanong niya rito.

"My body clock was too fuck up, Avery. If you want me to sleep and rest for the whole day then fuck me to death." Hindi alam ni Avis kung nagiging sarkastiko sa kanya ngayon si Caleb o seryoso ito sa sinasabi.

His face was straight and there's no any emotion in it, kahit sa mala abo nitong mga mata. She's having a hard time deciphering Caleb Carson.

"Are you serious or not? You are not a freaking codes but I'm having a hard time deciphering you." Nakasimangot na sagot niya rito. Caleb looked at her with his brows shot up.

"I'm not you, Caleb. You know how much I hate dealing with numbers and any subject that related to solving something! Hanggang ngayon nga hindi ko pa gets 'yung huling itinuro mo sa akin!" Reklamo niya rito.

Caleb taught her coding and decoding, pero palagi lang silang nauuwi sa mainit na sitwasyon. Pursigido noon si Caleb na ituro 'yon sa kanya pero sumasakit ang ulo niya, her last resort was to distract him and the only thing that can distract Caleb Carson that time was 'make love'. "I actually forgot it. There's so much in my plate right now, but I can still remember the most easy code I taught you before." Kalmadong sabi nito.

"That's because you love fucking me." Confident na sagot nito sa kanya. Totoo naman, hindi siya tatanggi.

She sneered and playfully punched his stomach, pero kahit pabiro lang 'yon ang kamao pa rin niya ang nasaktan.

"But seriously? Stop taking pills. Hindi 'yon maganda, Doctor ka kaya dapat alam mo 'yon!" Panenermon niya sa lalaki. "You should really take a good care of yourself, hindi habang buhay bata ka at hindi tatablan ng sakit, bukod sa trabaho ano pa ba ang pinagkaka-abalahan mo?"

"Ang dami mong dada, Avis." Caleb said and left her dumbfounded.

Aba ang hinayupak!

Nakasimangot na sinundan ni Avis si Caleb. He's tall and his steps was long! Kaya agad itong nakaalis, nakasakay na ito sa elevator bago pa niya maabutan.

Kinatok niya ang table ni Julian. "Call me immediately if there's a patient. May pupuntahan lang ako sandali." Paalam niya dito bago sinundan si Caleb.

She was actually walking and running at the same time. Ni hindi nga niya alam kung bakit niya hinahabol ang hinayupak na 'yon, sa isip niya bahala na kung ano ang mairarason niya kapag nagtanong ito.

She only stop when she saw his brother, Caliber. Nakasandal ito sa pader habang may kausap sa cellphone nito, he looked like a dumbass. May pakagat kagat pa ito ng labi at parang kinikilig sa kausap. Nilapitan niya agad ito nang maalala ang pinapasuyo ni Caleb. Tho, wala naman talaga siyang balak na hingin 'yon. Gusto lang niyang mang-asar makabawi man lang.

"Hi Kuya Caliber! Mukha kang tanga." She giggled when Caliber jumped a little. "Oh sorry, did I startled you?" Painosente na tanong nito sa kanya.

"A pest, hindi ko nga alam bakit pakalat kalat 'to sa hospital namin." Avis covered her mouth playfully to teased Caliber more. Masama na ang tingin nito sa kanya at na wash out lahat ng saya sa mukha nito kanina.

"Okay fine, just messing around Doc. But can I disturb you for a second?" She asked him cutely and nicely.

"You are already disturbing me," he paused. "Just a second, baby." He said and raised his brows at her.

"Ang sabi ni Caleb bigyan mo daw ng sleeping pills para makatulog." Mabilis na sabi niya. Her hands were on her back while swaying her body slowly.

Caliber sighed. "Make him sleep without those pills. Ako ang papagalitan ni Papa, kung kailangan mong i hele gawin mo! Damn that brat! He's so annoying." Reklamo nito.

"Paano kung iba ang gusto?" Nakasimangot na tanong niya.

Tumaas ang kilay ni Caliber at mayabang na ngumisi sa kanya. "Kung ano man 'yang 'ibang gusto' ng magaling kong kapatid. I am one hundred percent sure that you..." Caliber patted her head, bahagya pa siyang napangiwi dahil sa bigat ng kamay nito. "Will like it. More so, you will surely love and enjoy it. Am I right or right?"

Avis crossed her arms over her breast. Damn it! Lumapit siya dito para asarin si Caliber, not the other way around. She made a face and raised her ring finger and waved it on his face. Pero agad niya din binaba nang may makita siyang nurse na paparating.

"Better luck next time, sister in law! 'Yon ay kung pakakasalan ka ni Caleb." Pang-aasar nito sa kanya. Caliber was laughing his ass off while walking towards the exit. He'll probably continue to talk to his baby.

She then, locked the door. Walk towards him and close the curtains.

"If fucking means you will have a good rest after then get naked and do it with me." Umangat ang isang kilay niya. "What are you waiting for, Caleb? Get naked."

Umangat ang sulok ng labi niya nang ilapag ni Avis ang stethoscope nito sa lamesa niya, she untied her hair and remove her lab cote. She was wearing a white plain shirt and pants. Piece by piece, Avis clothes were disappearing.

"You sure? How's your baby down there?" nakataas ang kilay na tanong nito sa kanya. He stood up and unbutton his dress shirt, unbuckled his belt and remove it.
