The second day, Derry took me out to come across our friends and disclose our good news, and when I mean we gonna meet them it is going to be a hell of a gathering.

"Are you ready?" Derry came and hugged me.

I returned it because dad was gawking us and before joining Soph and all others, Derry chose to kill some time.

"Why are you being like this Veronica? Please at least acknowledge me, I know I did some terrible things." He pleaded.

Here my stubborn ass denied and made me recall what he did in the hospital. My heart was throbbing and almost entreated me to forgive him.

I'm Veronica Empire and no one mixes up with me. What is going on with me, maybe this is all due to the hormones. Gur!

He sighed and realised he isn't going to get any reaction from me anytime soon. So, he jerks the car we steered to the town.

After parking the car, he unlocked the door for me and led his hand, guess what? I took it.

I saw a smile creeping up to his face because he saw the elegant stony band on my ring finger.

The token of love he put on me.

"Let's buy you some clothing, first." He led me to a random store.

"This looks good, it is an EXO logo sweatshirt." My eyes instantly snapped towards a baby pink coloured sweatshirt he was gripping and ran to him; in that activity, I tipped my leg and fell directly towards Derry and he grabbed me. I dismissed the scold that I'm gonna get but it was EXO logo sweatshirt. How can I let it go?

I was safely cuddled in Derry's arms busy in idolizing the sweatshirt condoning the fact in which posture we were.

"This is a duo pack, Sir." The saleswoman said acknowledging us both.

"Get it I don't mind. Just pack it will you please." I gazed at her with excitement.

"Derry pay for it please I'm going to shift in it; I cant wait to wear it."

Derry sighed and went with billing purpose.

Now we are waiting at Starbucks for our friends to appear and the funny piece is Derry is also wearing the Couple sweatshirt we got back.

"Will you talk to me, Ron?"

"What do you want to talk?" I howl back what in the hell does he want to talk, I'm getting irritated.

"How are you feeling?" he inquired grabbing my hand.

"Quit acting, you were spending time with me for almost two hours now. You should know how I am feeling though." I was just resisting him that's it.

"But-"

"Hola you lovesick couple." We were cut by the voice of Soph who jogged and squeezed me and Derry.

"Hey there, Soph how are you?" I asked her and saw Tyson lurking behind her.

To be honest, my insides churned even at looking at him, our eyes met and we stared for I don't know how much time but it was a fresh impression every moment I looked at him. His black pupils permeating through my brown ones as if they were in their own realm.

Then unexpectedly Derry, pulled me tight to him crushing our contact and Tyson also became conscious of the situation and flashed at Derry and they shook their hands.

The whole time Derry's arm was draped around me like I was his life slogan.

We placed our orders and Tyson almost felt uncomfortable than earlier. I ignored, Woah! I guess I'm turning more like bitch.

"Ok, so why did you dump us? Ron, at the Party? We searched for you, Derry and even Fermiga was missing. Mrs Empire, you didn't even pick my calls?" She interrogated like a moody teacher interrogating for the homework from the kids.

Derry sighed and cracked the ice.

"Well, we have good news." Derry was appearing to act a slight awkward.

"What don't mean me that you two are scheming to get wedded? She laughed at her own hoax but her joke the fact.

I stared at Tyson who looked involved with his food but I was confident all his ears were here.

"Yes, Soph, we are getting married maybe in a month or two. We have another good announcement too..."

Then Derry glanced at me and at an awestruck Soph.

"We are pregnant." The way he says 'we' makes my day and I can feel blood flooding my cheeks.

"Holy moly, Ron, you are what?" she cried out.

"Quit doing that Soph, yes it the truth and we are planning to get married," I said as the matter of fact there was no withholding I was fated with Derry.

"Wow, I'm going to become aunt; did you hear Ty baby we are gonna become uncle and aunt of the baby yeah!" oh god, this girl.

"Hey, why are you quiet Tyson isn't the food not good?" Derry inquired Ty and I felt it as he was mocking Ty.

What is up with him? He is behaving like this since they came. Is it a Bad Blood?

"Oh no, I'm extremely happy for you guys, Congratulations to both you. You joking me how could Starbucks food disappoint us." He mumbled eyeing at me.

I rolled my eyes and leaned further into Derry savouring my latte, in response, Derry kissed my hair and relaxed his chin on my head. I liked it I don't why.

"I can't wait to spoil my niece; hey baby just wait a little while because when you come in this world you would get the best aunt you'd ever wish for." I chuckled at the childish response because it is the truth, she is my baby's real aunt; she is my little sister. Tyson better keeps her happy otherwise I'll unearth a grave for him.

Tyson grinned at Soph as if he truly cared for her and I felt optimistic for Soph.

We all chatted for hours and my mind drifted towards the coming Sunday. My mum whom I inferred to be dead was alive and healthy. For whom am I gonna light the candles? Huh, my life is sure a big drama.
