Now my priority is to keep my act intact and bring that old man to the café and celebrate his birthday. I rang the doorbell of Cent's house , after a few ring the door opened and I saw a very sleepy Cent rubbing his eyes to adjust the light .Then he saw me and scrunched his brows ''What's the matter kid ? And better it should be good reason to wake me up at this time.''

'' Actually I wanted you to come with me um it's Veronica.'' I couldn't get any good excuse than the name Veronica.

''What What's up with her ? Did something happened to her?'' he came and grabbed my shoulder.

''Come Cent it is not my place to explain . It's urgent '' Wow Tyson you are a great actor. We drove to Cent's café which was perfect as we planned. During the ride to café Cent didn't even utter a word.

I grabbed Cent's hand and let him inside café which was pitch black. "What the fudge kids? Is this some kind of prank on a old man? '' I couldn't hold my laugh and blasted the poper in my hand with that the lights in the café emitted and In the middle stood Veronica with the café and candles looking beautiful in her orange outfit. Sure she's a spoiled brat.

I looked at Cent who stood there shocked his jaw hanging at the surprise .He slowly took steps towards where Ronny was standing.

''Happy birthday to you , Happy birthday to you, happy birthday, happy birthday, happy birthday to you.'' we both sang the song . Cent hugged Ronny and I saw strings of tears flowing through his eyes. Then he gave a hug to me and whispered in my ear '' Seriously something bad happened to Veronica ? You scared the shit out of me kids. Thank you for this beautiful surprise'' I laughed.

''Now you two come here and let's attack the cake I'm starving.'' Cent then cut the cake and fed it to both of us and we also did the same. After devouring the cake and a little chit chat Ronny said she had to return home . We all agreed and again wished Cent . Somehow I saw tears in Ronny's eyes'' Hey what it is?'' I asked even though this is all my act to be close to Veronica , I feel like she is like my friend(note the sarcasm when she learns the truth about me).

''It's nothing Ty . Just I'm happy sad'' she laughed looking at me . I know everything, I didn't wanna push her .

''Hey come here'' I gave her a hug and giving me a quick peck on my lips she exited the car and went inside her mansion.

I sighed because I know where my loyalty lies. Whom I love and whom I hate but I'm sure Veronica is my enemy and I'll never forget what she has done to the love my life and my brother.

VERONICA EMPIRE

After giving surprise . I don't know I just felt like old times when we celebrated my dad's birthday. It was nothing like this . It was far away beautiful and all three of us would celebrate it like with all riches but only us. It was only day for us. I sometimes wish if my real dad is seeing this all or not .Well my devil mamma wouldn't even remember that today is dad's birthday.

Whatever Cent deserves all happiness and I'm happy that I could be part of it. Then I went to my eternal peaceful sleep Thank god there was no thunder today.

Today at school everyone was happy but there was a gloominess for me it was Sophia.

''Hey '' I turned around and saw Dereck towering over me. '' Hi Dereck'' I declaimed .

''I was thinking if we could go and visit Soph after school '' he suggested scraping his hair.

A smile broke to my face and I lunged Dereck for a hug. I'm happy that he tried to be civil with me for the first time. He was surprised but hugged me back '' I missed you Ron'' .

''I missed you too Derry '' I whispered into his ear.
"Last time you almost were gonna kill me" I chuckled as I remember how he took in the scene when Soph cut herself.
"I'm so sorry Ron,I-I was mad she was like my sister and she started to distance herself from us. I wanted good for her always and that day I couldn't loose another sister too." he said shrugging his shoulders another sister? Hmm that means I only have half details. Derry is still a mystery.
I tried to digest everything he said because he was sorry. Then I ruffled his hair which I love doing.

''So P.E now? '' he laughed and put a hand around my shoulder .

'' So it is P.E now.'' I smiled thinking of the time he would jump on me to prove me wrong before his ego.

DERECK WILLIAMSON

Yes Derry you tried to supress your ego . I'm finally walking by the side of the girl whom I thought I would never trust and I ever love in my life but see I'm happy now and I'll win back my Veronica whatever it takes.

It was after noon and as we agreed Ron was waiting for me in the parking lot .

''Lets go then '' I hoped into my car and she also did the same .

''Sure Williamson, but no race '' I laughed at her response remembering the day when the god of death showed mercy on Ron . We both gave life to our cars and sped off.

We stood in front of room no 210 .We looked at each other with a sigh I opened the door and Veronica marched into the room . She stood still but I don't know why like something possessed her. I saw a familiar face sitting on the chair beside Soph's bed staring at Ron with shock. I know this guy.

''Tyson'' she whispered.
