Lotor ordered his men to seize every spinning wheel in the kingdom. The wheels were broken and burned so that they may never be used and thrown into the deepest dungeon in the castle. Secretly, his wife, Allura, entrusted the safety of the prince to the magic of the pixies who would take him to a remote hideaway for sixteen years and a day. Allura gave her baby boy a tearful kiss goodbye as she watches the pixies carry the basket while she hopes and prays she would see her only child again. Lotor shut himself behind the walls of his castle while his soldiers rode far and wide to hunt Keith down but he had put up walls of his own so that the Moors might never again suffer the touch of humans. Keith uses his magic to create giant vines with thick thorns as some sort of barricade and he reveled in the sorrow his curse had brought

The fairies begin their charge to raise Lance in a snug little cottage in the woods. They were riding in the woods when they stop at a cottage as Pidge complains "Oh no, is this it? Looks dreadful" Coran says "Come on" the four fairies carry the basket towards the cottage as Hunk says "We need a smaller baby" Matt agrees "Or bigger bodies" they set the basket on a tree stump as Coran states "No, what we need is a proper disguise" Pidge asks "What do you mean?" Coran answers "Well, we've got to blend in, don't we? We've got to be big enough to look after this baby. Gather round, everyone" the four fairies gather round as Coran says "One. Two. Three. Grow" the fairies spin around and use their magic to grow into human size and they are now wearing normal clothes as Coran states "There, that worked out quite nicely. Now, there'll be no more questions asked. We are no longer fairies. We are four peasants raising our orphan child in the woods. So, no flying" Matt, Hunk and Pidge ask "No flying?" Coran replies "No, no, and no magic" Matt asks "No magic?" Pidge whines "It's in the middle of nowhere"

The four fairies enter the cottage but forgot about Lance who started crying in his basket on a tree stump until Hunk sees him and asks "There you are. Why are you always hiding?" Hunk carries the baby back in the cottage and places it behind a window. Shiro flies ahead in bird form while Keith follows him to the cottage where he sees Lance and approaches the window and smirks "It's so ugly you almost feel sorry for it" Baby Lance smiles at Keith who snarls at him to scare the baby but still, the baby smiled as Keith glares at him and says "I hate you, beasty" Keith leaves the cottage and the baby alone but he couldn't understand why Lance wasn't afraid of him. He shook off the thought but it couldn't leave his mind

Unfortunately for Lance, the fairies were perhaps unequal to their task. Lance was lying in his basket and wouldn't stop crying as Matt asks "Why is he crying?" Pidge replies "I think he might be hungry" Coran snaps "Then feed him" Hunk places a couple of carrots on Lance's lap but Lance is only a baby since he can't eat them. Keith was covering his ears to avoid Lance's crying as he grumbles "It's gonna starve with those four looking after it" Shiro caws in agreement. That night, the four fairies were fast asleep while Lance wouldn't stop crying when Shiro flew in while carrying a dripping flower and places it on the baby's mouth. Lance started sucking on the flower while Shiro gently rocks the baby's crib at the same time. The next morning, The fairies were sitting at a table playing a game when Matt grabs Coran's hand that was reaching across the table and Coran asks "What?" Matt answers "You're cheating" Hunk accuses "How dare you" Pidge agrees "I saw that" Matt declares "That's it. We're starting again" Coran scoffs "Suit yourself" Hunk grumbles "Greedy old goat"

But while they're resetting the game, Coran feels water droplets fall on his head and he says "Stop doing that" the three fairies look at him in confusion as Matt argues "I'm not doing anything" more droplets fall on Coran's head as he glares at Hunk and Pidge as he says "Well, someone is" Hunk states "It's not me" Pidge agrees "Not me either" Coran says "You three are having a go at me and I will not tolerate-" more water fell on his head as he stands up and yells "Stop it" that's when more water starts falling all over him while Matt, Hunk and Pidge start laughing until more water starts falling on them and Coran yells "This is all your fault" Outside, Keith forms a cloud of thunder and lightning over the cottage to pull a prank on the four fairies while Shiro watches him in disappointment as Keith smirks "Oh, come on. That's funny" Shiro just gives him a silent glare and shakes his head
