Prologue

No one asked to be in the lower social class, but no one asked to be in the higher graces either. No one wants to be a commoner, however, at the same time, no one wants to be the person that society pins all of its problems on. It's a loose-loose situation either way.

Yet, this is a tale of living life to the fullest, finding your own adventure and inner hero, no matter your social ranking. But first, let's meet our characters, shall we?

Let me start by introducing you to the Franco-British Empire monarchy. Francis was a flamboyant prince of France, he was the oldest out of five. Than, there was Arthur, prince of Britain, youngest out of five. They met years ago and fell madly in love. They married and their marriage created a commonwealth between the kingdoms of Britain and France. They were both now the kings of the Franso-British Empire. Sense they couldn't have any biological heirs do to their shared gender, they decided to adopt. The oldest boy they adopted was Logan. Logan was quite an adventurous little boy when they first adopted him, though he feared insects. Years later, nothing much has changed with the boy, even now that he is turning into a man, other than he dropped the fear of insects. The next two children are the twins, Alfred and Matthew. They look almost exactly alike, besides eye color. Alfred's eyes are sky blue whereas Matthew's are a light purple. Though they're alike in appearance, they're very different in personality. Alfred had always been the cheerful, out going one, whereas Matthew has always been more quiet and kept to himself. Francis and Arthur's youngest child, and only girl, is Alexandra, or simply Alex as she prefers. She grew up as a cheerful child, but as she got older, she became more closed off. Yet she is still a very nice person. Now, aside from the Franco-British royal family, there are others that live in the castle with them. For starters, there's the servant girl, Joan. Though she is a servant, she was still treated like a part of the family. She even took care of a younger Alex when the kings were busy. She had grown to be a mother figure to the girl. She's always been extremely close to the family. The next person outside the family that inhabitants the castle is Elizabeth. Elizabeth came from a long line of wealth and is one of King Arthur's many relations. She's also become his most trusted adviser and even his best friend. Though he's not her only friend, she's also really good and close friends with Joan. Then, there's Davie, a young guard boy and close friends with Alfred. The last full-time resident of the castle is the court jester, youngest member of the house, little Peter. He's a playful boy indeed, and enjoys pulling a few pranks on the other people around the castle, not that they mind, of course. They always giggle or chuckle at his antics. Like everyone else in the castle, he was treated like a part of the family.

The next family we will be looking at is the Germanic monarchy. Though they are taken care of by their uncle rather than their father. Their father, Forkert, committed suicide. The children were still to young to be living on their own (at least in their uncle, Fritz's, eyes), so he took them in and cared for his brothers kin as if they were his own. The two to get closest to their uncle though we're the oldest, Gilbert, and the third oldest, Ludwig. Now to introduce them in order from oldest to youngest. Gilbert's the oldest out of the six siblings and probably the most carefree one. Yet, there is one other thing that sets him apart from the rest of his siblings: albinism. His skin has little pigment, so he's pale as a ghost. His hair (instead of being the normal albino blond) is snow white. His eyes are what diffidently set him apart from the rest though. They are a ruby red. His albinism gets him into quite a bit of trouble though, villagers often mistake the prince for a demon and try to attack him. Luckily, someone saves him in the nick of time. Next oldest is Roderich. He's only younger than Gilbert by a year, yet Gilbert often treats him as if he's the baby of the family. Roderich enjoys pretty much anything music related, musics his passion and he's married to a beautiful woman by the name of Elizabeta. Next oldest is William, however, he sadly died ill in early childhood. Then, there's Ludwig. He was was the twin brother of William, younger by just a little. He was for sure kind. He loved his brothers and sister more than you would ever imagine. He's also adores dogs, his three dogs are his babies. Next on our list is Basch, the youngest boy. He constantly gets called 'baby brother' by Ludwig, which does end up annoying him a great deal. He seems a little rough around the edges, but he's really a huge sweetheart. Than, there's the youngest, Lili, the only girl. She's still a child and very much enjoys her big brothers company (especially Basch). One of the guards, Chris, is extremely close to the oldest two boys and Elizabeta. He's loyal to them and would do anything for them.

Our next royal family are the Asian royals. The oldest brother, Yao, is the current king, and his lack of children makes his younger brother, Kiku, the second oldest, the next monarch should something happen to his brother. Anyway, Yao and all of his siblings enjoy tea and cute things. Though they all do have traits that set them apart. They are all wonderful people.

Next off are the Italian monarchs. Romano's the oldest of the Italian monarchs, yet when their grandfather died, Feli was the one who rose to the throne. Romano spends most of his time taking care of the youngest Vargas, their little brother, Romeo, nowadays. However Romano is slightly jealous that his brother got the throne instead of him, but he loves his little brother too much to ever hate him for it. Oh, and did I mention that they're three out of four of Francis' younger siblings?

The last royal family we shall be taking a look at today is the Russian royals. The current king is Ivan. He has two sisters that live with him, his older sister Yekatrina (Yeka for short) and his little sister, Natalia. Yeka's the goofiest one and is always worrying about her younger siblings, even though they can take perfectly good care of themselves. Natalia's known to come off as a little creepy, yet she's a sweetheart once you get to know her. Then, there's Ivan. He's the tallest of his siblings (and his social group), standing at seven feet tall. He's silent, and can seem creepy, yet he's really just a walking, talking teddy bear. He married the duchess, Anastasia, whom is a very sweet and caring girl. Now, Anastasia and her kid brother. Alexei, live in the castle with Ivan. Alexei's a sweet child, yet that doesn't mean he's not a handful, he does enjoy a good prank after all. Now, onto the Kings children. The oldest is a boy by the name of Toris. He's a very honest and sweet boy, and despite how it may seem, he can kick your butt. Next after Toris is Feliks. He's a little odd and has always been. Though the thing that sets him apart the most is the fact that he's a cross dresser, not that his family minds. The next two are twins, Eduard and Dika. Though Dika's the older twin and Eduard hardly ever hears the end of it. They often bicker, and though they are twins, they don't look alike. Eduard has blue eyes shielded behind a pair of glasses, whereas Dika has violet orbs, no glasses. Eduard's hair is blond, Dika's is a slivers white. The only thing in appearance that they have in common are height. Than, after the twins is the youngest, Raivis. He's right around Alexei's age, and despite Raivis being shy and Alexei being a prankster, the two are actually pretty good friends.

Now that we're done with the monarchs, there are two more characters that shall often pop up in the story. Two unlikely one at that. Two blacksmiths, brothers Joao and Antonio. Their not just any blacksmiths though, yes, they do appear as though they are. They spend all their time in the forges after all. Yet they don't make your everyday swords, they make the royal's weapons.
