Later that day.

It was night time now, I'd just finished eating dinner and was cleaning up. I lived in my own house now, just down the road from everyone else. I looked outside the window and my eyes widened slightly. "Woah! Where'd this storm come from?" I saw Sora running out to the docks, it was way too dangerous to take a boat in this weather. "Damn it Sora" I sighed heavily before running out after him but when I got there, he had already left for the island so I went after him. When I got there, a large black hole was in the sky. "That...It looks like the same thing that...No. No time for that now, I won't let it happen again!" I summoned it for the first time in ten years, my Keyblade: Wandering Star. Almost immediately, small black creatures with large yellow glowing eyes appeared. I spotted Sora by the tree we hang out at but the creatures were in my way. "All right then. Bring it on!" They were weak and easy, only a couple hits each before they disappeared. When I reached Sora, I couldn't help but notice a Keyblade in his hand. "Sora...When did you get that?" "Y/N! This dark thing swallowed up Riku! Then there was this light and this showed up!" He explained. So he's the one...It can wait.

The secret cave entrance was now a door. We ran over there in hopes of finding Kairi and true enough she was in there facing the wooden door. "Kairi!" She turned around slowly, completely void of emotion. "Sora..." The door opened, a tremendous force pushing Kairi into Sora's arms but she disappeared! The force pushed us both outside where a large monster waited for us. There was a heart shaped hole in its chest, it looked strong. "What the...What is that?" "Sora! Let's beat it together!" He nodded as we both got our Keyblades out and started fighting. It seemed like our attacks were doing nothing, my magic wasn't working either. After a few more hits, it stopped attacking us, the hole above us sucked in and then everything went dark.

'Darkness has awoken once again in the form of beings known as Heartless. You will not be alone. It is time to awaken Keyblade Master.'  I opened my eyes with a quiet groan. "Hey Leon! She's waking up!" Leon..? Who's that? A girl with short black hair and black eyes stood over me. "Hi! I'm the great ninja Yuffie! You ok?" Yuffie asked. "Uh...Yeah. I'm fine thanks" I muttered, slowly sitting up. I was in what looked like a hotel room. "Those creatures that attacked you are after the Keyblade but it's your heart they want because of the keyblade" the brown haired guy leaning against the wall explained. "They're called Heartless and he's Leon" Yuffie added. I looked around but no Sora. "Right, I'm Y/N. You seen a kid with brown spikey hair? Yellow shoes, baggy pants? He's another Keyblade wielder like me" they both shook their heads. "I'm gonna go look for him. Those Heartless are probably after him too" "if that's the case, we'll help. There's three districts, we'll split up and find him. Come back here in half an hour" Leon told us.

I stayed in district two, Leon went to one and Yuffie went to three. Heartless showed up in this district, I could use the practice and I can't let them roam around freely. I summoned my Keyblade and dealt with them before anyone could come and get hurt but there seemed to be no end to them! "Where do they keep coming from?" I panted. "Y/N! Come to the third district this way!" It was Yuffie, I ran after her into the third district. A large metallic Heartless was there waiting alongside Sora and...Donald and Goofy! I had met the two briefly in Master Yensid's tower ten years ago. I ran over to them and together we battled the giant Heartless. We needed to beat each part of its body individually, it didn't help that it kept spinning every two seconds either. "Sora! Now!" We both charged in and dealt the final blow, a large heart erupted out of it and floated towards the sky as the rest of its body disappeared.

"What...was that?" I asked quietly. "That's what happens when a Heartless is defeated by a Keyblade, the heart it holds is released!" Yuffie explained to me, I nodded understandingly before looking over to Sora. "Are you alright Sora?" "Yup!" He grinned before Donald and Goofy walked over. "Hey you two, it's been a while huh?" I said, giving them a toothy grin. They both looked at me, tilting their heads before they realised. "Y/N!?" They both shouted in surprise. "Yup, it's me" I laughed quietly. "You're all grown up!" Goofy pointed out "you've gotten real big that's for sure" Donald laughed. Sora looked at all of us, more confused than ever. "Wait, Y/N you know these guys?" "It's...Kind of a long story but these guys can help us fink Riku and Kairi! Right?" I asked them, with a big smile. "Of course!" Donald quacked "Sora, go with them, especially if you want to find your friend" Leon told him. Sora looked sad but agreed to go. "You can't come with us, looking like that! The Gummy ship runs on happy faces!" Goofy said, it took a few before Sora pulled a funny face, we said goodbye to Leon and Yuffie before heading to the next world. Wonderland!
