Screaming, I shudder at the dream I snap out of, or should I say nightmare.

I was drowning, in an icy pool of blue, it was cold and I was suffocated. Strange enough, not water, but some liquid of thick material, I could feel it sink into my lungs and fill them up.

But it's familiar, I sensed warmth, and comfort. I let myself drown in it, letting myself sink downwards.

It's odd.

The colour reminded me of something else.

Icy and blue.

I blink repeatedly, trying to knock the image out of my head.

I get up and get dressed.

It's 10:12 pm.

I didn't necessarily agree to go meet Dipper, but I figured I had nothing to lose.

I put on hoodie I had lying over my bed and started heading to the lake. Gideon showed me the way a few days ago, while he was still showing me the town.

After 9 pm I told Uncle Bud and Gideon that I wanted to sleep early tonight. While they were downstairs, I waited a while and then snuck out through the roof.

This better be worth it. 

It took me about 10 minutes to walk to the lake, it was cold, I wish I brought my hoodie with me.
I glanced at the time on my phone, 10:28 pm, good, I wasn't late.

There was a small docking area, I sat down and curled up as small as I could, so I could be warm.
I wait a while and I feel something growing in me.

Doubt.

Or is it anger?

Is this a stupid game to Dipper, trick me into coming to a random lake at night then not show up?

Suddenly I feel something brush against my exposed shoulders. Cloth.
And all in a second a jacket was around me. I swivelled around to see Dipper standing behind me, which scared me.

I don't know which scared me more, the fact that he and his sister killed me yesterday or the fact that he snuck up on my like that so easily, like he was used to it.

'So you did turn up Pazzie.' He finally says, after a moment of silence.

'I guess so. I said don't call me that name, but you did. Okay then.' I almost chuckle, he could kill me here and now, if he really wanted to.

'Don't say that, it makes me seem worse than I am.' He almost replies to my thoughts.
What the hell?

Dipper continued to talk, 'Paz, I am truly sorry for what happened yesterday. I hope you're feeling a lot better and I sincerely hope you forgive me.'

And with that, I know I already have.

I smile at him, then stand up, getting ready to leave since he told me what he wanted to say.

'Where are you going?'

'To the shack because we're done?'

'We aren't, hold on.'

He disappears for a second and appears on the lake, in a boat, slowly rowing over to me.

'No, you aren't serious to tell me to get into that.' I roll my eyes at him, I know he can see me.

'But I am.' He smirks.

I roll my eyes again, exaggerating it more this time. Reluctantly, I get on the boat.

I sit backwards towards the direction we are in and he rows the boat forwards.

Dipper slowly rows the boat out of the dock area.

I can see the surface of the lake glistening in the moonlight, and I can see Dipper's features in the little light.

Here, I can see his features more distinctively, I must admit, he looks quite  good. He's arrogant and weird, and a bit cocky, but I can tell why he gets all these fangirls now.

'Oh don't flatter me like that.' Dipper mutters through his repetitive rowing. It freaks me out how he can do that.

Dipper stops rowing the boat, and we float for a bit. I turn as we do so, and see the moon in all its glory.

'It's really pretty.' I say, diverting all my attention towards it.

'I know, like me.' He replies without missing a beat.

I laugh at his stubborn arrogance. 'What's so funny?' He asks me when he got no reply from me.
'It's just, you're so self-absorbed, but that's what I find so funny.' I responded to him, trying to hold back a grin.

'But I think there's something even more pretty than the moon, instead, I'd say it's beautiful and charming.'

Dipper doesn't respond to my comment, he keeps on talking, like he is to himself.
'What is it?'

'You.'
