Chapter Two

"A mysterious murder strikes again at the home of Jackeral Canbus. He was found dead in his bedroom from a single stab to the heart. A criminal link was on the wall. The Eye of Horus was draw from the victims blood, along with all 38 of his other victims."

Yami smirked to himself. He knew it would be on the news soon. It was only a matter of time before something would happen.

"The daughter of the lasts victim, Nova Canbus, explains her story of her father." The image instantly switches to an image of Nova. "My father was always an alcoholic and would abuse me sometimes. Honestly that criminal did me a favor by killing him. I am honestly grateful, sorry if it seems like a bad thing. Also, doesn't it seem that he kills the bad people of this world? My father was a terrible, terrible man, and all the other people he's killed have been abusers, drug dealers or other murders."

"He does a favor to poor family's too. He left $500 dollars on my nightstand. He's also left a lot more to the poor family's that he's freed. I feel like this man does more good than bad." Yami smiled at this girls words. She too had noticed that he only killed the bad people of this world.

It went on to say more about his Yami tended to kill at midnight and a warning about before it went to other cases about him and the little evidence on it. On all of the cases that where ever linked to him.

He turned the T.V off stood up and cracked his back. He looked at the time. Ten fifty-four in the morning, great. He decided that he wanted to do something with his day so he put on his shoes and walked out if the house.

As he was walking, he thought if how young he was to be a killer. He was a short person for his age of seventeen. His hair was mixed with wild colors of black, blonde and magenta. Surprisingly all of his hair was natural as it stuck up on his head in a starfish looking way. The tips of his hair where magenta as the faded into the raven black and then he had blonde bangs framing his face with a few running up his spiky hair.

He kept walking until he bummed into someone and they both fell to the ground. Yami rubbed his head as it had hit the pavement and groaned a little. "Are you alright?" A small but sweet voice asked him. He looked up and saw a pair of worried amethyst eyes staring down at him.

Blinking his eyes a couple of time he responded. "Yes I am fine." He said as he took the strangers hand to help him up. He dusted off his pants with his hands a looked at the stranger again. His eyes widened at how much they looked alike.

They had the same starfish shaped hair that was almost completely identical expect he didn't have the extra strikes running through his hair. "Are you sure your alright? Oh dear, your foreheads bleeding!" He said as he glanced at his bloody forehead.

Touching his head carefully, he pulled back his hand and saw the blood smeared on his hand. "I'll be fine. I've had bigger cuts. By the way what's your name? I'm Yami." He said to the stranger. He looked at him sweetly.

"Mines Yugi. Are you sure your okay? My house is near by and I could cover your head up. It seems to be bleeding pretty badly." He said with a worried tone. Yami sighed. It would be nice to have this fixed but, his secret. "Show me the way."

Yugi smiled and pulled on Yami's arm as he dragged him over to house. They eventually arrived at what looked like a game shop. "You live here?" Yami questioned. Yugi looked at him. "Of course I do silly! Why else would I bring you here?" He said playfully. Yami just chuckled.

Yugi dragged him into his house and led him up a pair if stairs into a small bathroom. Yami sat down as Yugi scampered around his house for the items necessary to patch up Yami's forehead.

The water faucet was turned on as Yugi lit a cloth under it. He turned it of and turned to Yami. "This might sting a little." He said sweetly. Yami shrugged his shoulders. "I've been through worse."

Gently tapping Yami's forehead, Yugi began to wipe the blood off and held it close to his head as he grabbed a bandage and cover the cut. "All done!" He said in a satisfied way. Yami smiled. "Thank you." He said to Yugi. He smiled cutely which made Yami's heart flutter a bit. "Your welcome! Its the best I could do after bumping into you. Sorry about that." Yugi said as he began to put the items he got out away.

Yami looked around at his surroundings. The house was small but it seemed it fit all the stuff that was around. "So do you live by yourself?" Yami asked as he noticed that he was the only one in the house. Yugi shook his head. "No, I live with my grandpa but he's in a dig in Egypt so he'll be gone for awhile." He explained.

Glancing at Yami a little, Yugi spoke again. "Do you live around here?" Yugi asked while putting stuff in the cabinet. Yami nodded his head. "I live with my cousin. Even through he's a pain sometimes, he's the only family I got left." He explained saddly. Yugi looked at him. "You don't have parents too?" He asked, not pryingly but with curiosity.

"Yes. I watched then die right before my eyes when I was four." He explained quickly. 'Why am I tell so much about myself to Yugi? What he finds out? What still happen?' A memory flashed of the day they died unwilling before Yami's eyes.

Yami walked down the stairs in search of his parents. "Mommy...? Daddy...? Where are you?" Little Yami asked worriedly. He had no idea where his parents where. He walked down the rest of the stairs and saw strange people in his house.

"W-who are you?" He asked sacred in his squeaky voice with child curiosity. The people looked at him.

"Kill the parents before him. Let's cause some lifetime dramatization." He said briefly to the other people. Little Yami was still confused and didn't know what was happening so he began to tear up. "Mommy! Where are you!" He yelled again but he got no response.

The man brought both of his parents in the room despite their yelling protests. The stooped instantly when they saw and herd their crying son. Yami ran over to them a quickly as he could and began to cry harder. "Mommy? Daddy? What's happening?" He asked while sobbing. His mother looked down it him with sad eyes.

"My little Angel, it will be okay." She said in a sweet voice. "You'll be okay." His father added. Yami hugged both if his parents tightly before he was yanked away from them. He began to cry again and shut his eyes tightly.

Bam. One gunshot. Bam. Second shot. The young child slowly peered through his eye lashes before widening them completely. His parents layed dead on the ground, heads bleeding from bullet wounds. The killers where already gone.

Little Yami covered his mouth as hot silver tears streamed down his face.

"Yami? Yami! Are you okay?" A small voice asked. Yami snapped back into reality and stared at Yugi. His cheeks where wet and they where glistening with tears. He nodded weakly. "Yes, I'm fine. I just, remembered something." He said while averting his gaze from Yugi.

Wrapping his arms around Yami's shoulders, Yugi hugged him tightly. "My past isn't great either. But you learn to move on. No matter how long it takes." He said kindly. Yami was taken aback at first but leaned his head on Yugi's shoulder and cried until he fell asleep.

Laying Yami down carefully, he stood and looked at him. Yami seemed strong on the out side and he was, but everyone has their breaking moments. Yugi changed into his pajamas and layed his head down on the opposite side of the bed and soon feel asleep alongside Yami.

Sorry if it's shitty people. I really wanted to get chapter two up but I didn't really know what to put for Yami and Yugi meeting each other so yeah. Anyways I love people and good night! Or good morning!
