MADDY

I got the strength to sit up in the hospital bed. Leah sat in the corner trying to calm down Ari. I put my hands over my eyes trying to calm myself down.

"Leah just go. I'll be fine,"I croaked out of my dry throat.

She shook her head, "No you need me. These nurses are comple-"

"Leave Leah."

She sighed in defeat. She grabbed Ari's hand and came over to me. Ari said goodbye. Leah gave me a slight kiss on my forehead and told me to call her if I needed anything.

The door shut.

Once I was alone I grabbed my arm and examined it. The cuffs and scrapes were that bad. The one in my leg twisted all the way around from the blow of the car. Two of my teeth were missing. Thank god it wasn't the two tops ones. My arm and right leg, popped completely out of my socket, and not to mention the vision in my left eye is so blurry.

The pain was unbearable. My whole body felt like it was chopped into individual pieces slowly. I put my arm down and grabbed the water beside my bed.

The incident happened so quickly. One moment I was walking to mama house and then I got hit. I don't remember everything, but I do remember I was crossing the street.

A foot stepped inside the door. I put the water down and opened my eyes. I quickly shut them again after I realized who it was.

"Hey Mad-"

I gave him a look, "Get out of my hospital room before I call security,"I gritted.

He sighed and put the bear and the Oreo's beside my bed.

"At least take this?"

I scoffed,"You know I'm allergic to Oreos! Ugh!"I shouted throwing the bear at him.

"I know I did you wrong, but don't act like yo ass is the victim!"He raised his voice making me jump.

I rolled my eyes, "In case you forgot I am the victim of a hit and run."

He sat down and ran his hands over his face. I crossed my arms waiting for him to speak.

"Listen baby I'm sorry for all the shit that I said. I was in my feelings because you technically cheated on me with my best friend. I shouldn't have lashed out on you though, I wasn't acting like a ma-"

"Bullshit,"I spat. My face softened."It was my fault. I shouldn't have been all up on Lia."

"Your right but I'm a man, I should be o-"

She laughed, "Your saying you should be ok with your girl cheating with another girl?"

"I mean most dudes like shit like that."

"Ace that's stupid as fuck. You're not most dudes. I wouldn't be ok if you cheated on me with another man."

"Because I don't do shit like that."

"No wonder why I cheated on your pathetic ass."

"What do you mean?"He asked with a confused face.

I laughed, "You wanna be like every dude out here. You just a wanna be. You know deep down your ass mad. I refuse to be with a dude that's gonna let me get away with everything, so excuse yourself from this room,"I smiled deeply and waved.

He got up and put his hand on the door. He pulled back and raised a finger to my face.

"You saying I'm a wannabe? You the wannabe! You got with me just because your sister d-"

"Don't bring my sister into this shit!"I shouted.

"You want to be like your sister! Don't play like you don't dress like her, talk like her, eat like her, yo ass even went and lived in the same house as she used to before I took her in...don't give me that bullshit Madison."

I grabbed the remote off of the dresser and threw it at him. He caught it and placed it on the tv stand.

"Your a fucking bitch!"I shouted. "You killed my sister and then try to talk about her while I'm right here! I hate you! I swear to god I hate you!"I shouted tears streaming down my eyes.

He laughed, "You couldn't even if you wanted to. I know everything about you Madison."

"Get out!"I shouted.
