The sky was bright with rays of sunshine pointing down to a black wolf, white wolf and a pup. Sounds of howling could be heard from outside the cave the wolves were in, a wolf came in and shouted "alpha! We are under attack" the black wolf got up and told the white wolf and the pup to stay there, then followed the other wolf.

The battle raged on outside, the pup was curious and followed the sounds of fighting, the pup was only just born but could walk. "Kanobe, come back" the white wolf called but Kanobe kept walking. She saw lifeless bodies laying on the ground, but one stood out from the rest, it was a black wolf, Kanobe recenized it was her father and walked closer to it.

Kanobe stood there next to her father's body, no movement was heard, but she could hear paw steps, paw steps of a white wolf "no no! How could this happen?" The white wolf cried loudly "Kanobe, get to the cave now!" The white wolf told her still crying, the white wolf Howled and got into the battle, the battle was won but many lives were lost.

The white wolf walked back to the cave, scars on her body followed by bits of blood "mummy, is daddy ok?" Kanobe asked "no he's not, h-he's gone, didn't you see him lifeless on the ground?" The white wolf shouted crying "I don't remember that, is daddy dead?" Kanobe asked.

The white wolf was shocked and knew there was something special about her child. "Zara!" A wolf yelled barging into the cave "follow me!" The wolf continued, Zara followed with Kanobe right behind her "my mate, Kira's pups are coming!" The wolf told Zara pointing to Kira who was in pain, Zara walked over to her and sat "thank you for telling me, Echo" Zara said tending to Kira.

Echo walked out of the cave Kira and Zara were in to leave them alone, Kanobe followed echo looking curious, Kanobe started to nibble Echo's bushy grey tail "what are you doing?" Echo asked looking annoying as he pulled his tail away from Kanobe, Kanobe just looked at Echo and walked away.

The next day Kanobe was introduced to Kira's pups, and was introduced to the rest of the pack that were still alive. The pack lost their healer so Zara was left in charge with the job of healing everyone's wounds. "Zara" There was a red wolf coming up to Zara, the red wolf continued to talk "Zara, can I be a healer? I know red wolves are meant to be healers, but I was too young Robbie a healer, but today is my birthday, and my mum told me how to be a good healer, so can I?" The red wolf asked "Faith, that we don't have a healer, I'll allow you to be, but you don't have all the skills, so ill teach you, follow me" Zara said picking up Kanobe in her muzzle.

She took them out to a green forest with lots of trees and put Kanobe down. "Alright Faith, here is your first patient" Zara said poking her muzzle to Kanobe "but she is perfectly fine..." Faith said confused "that's right, every healer should know that".

Howls could be heard from inside the pack, Zara picked up Kanobe with her muzzle again and walked back into the pack with Faith behind her. There was a red wolf in the pack, Kanobe ran over to her while people were saying welcome back. Zara walked over to her and said "Welcome back Hope!" "Thank you for welcoming me back but I'm not staying, I heard my mother died and after I left, she had another pup, named Faith, and I have come to train her" Hope said "how did you know?" Kira asked "news travels fast when you travel to other packs" Hope replied "now lets get your training started, Faith!" Hope said to Faith looking excited to start training her.
