I watched Toby play with his little yellow ball as I got my hair done by Olly. For tonight, I had decided I wanted my hair up for a change. I was growing tired of having my hair down for every performance. Olly had agreed with me saying he could make it fun at the same time. 

As Olivia sat on the ground next to Toby, he continued to bite down on the ball and growling in a squeaky tone. 

" so when did you get him?" Olivia asked.

" Harry gave him to me for Christmas" I smiled.

" that's so sweet!" she geeked out. 

It was nice to have my glam team back. even if it were just for tonight. I couldn't bring them along for tour since they also had other clients. Olivia and Olly became my glam team just for events like tonight, New Years Eve.

" can I see what I'm wearing tonight?" I teased Olivia.

Olivia quickly got up from the ground and raced towards the rack with the hangers. She took out a hanger that had a protector over the piece of clothing. She unzipped the protector revealing a long white dress.

" this is your red carpet outfit. I though the long dress would be nice since it is freezing here in New York" Olivia smiled.

" it's perfect" I smiled back at her.

Olly finished my hair and make-up, then Olivia quickly put me into the beautiful white dress. As much as I hated it, I was warned to stay away from Toby. We all knew he could ruin the dress. So Toby was taken from me for the rest of the night and brought over back to the apartment.

After everything was set, Olivia walked with down with me to the hotel lobby to meet up with the boys. As soon as the elevator doors opened, they came into my view. The first one I saw was Harry. His back was turned to me. He was having a conversation with James, too far away for me to hear them. Zayn and Louis were closer to me.

" finally the beauty queen is ready" Zayn teased.

" shut up" I rolled my eyes with a smile.

Louis didn't say anything, as expected. We hadn't really said a word to each other since the incident early this morning. He was the one who owed me an apology, but instead I got the silent treatment from him. I didn't understand why Louis hated my relationship with Harry so much. Did he think it was just for show?

He knew me better than that and yet he chose to believe differently.

As we all began walking out the hotel, Harry stood by my side with his arm around my waist making me feel safe and protected. Ironically, only he could make me feel this way.

" you look beautiful" he whispered before placing a light kiss on my forehead. A small smile managed to creep on my face without me being able to hold it back.

The ride over to the New Years Eve event was pretty quiet other than Zayn and I goofing around with each other. For now, I didn't really know where Zayn stood as to his opinion to the whole thing about Harry and I's relationship. I hoped it would stay that way. I don't think I could handle another person hating our relationship.

Arriving onto the red carpet somehow seemed a little foreign. It had been only I think a couple weeks. Last time was the Carry On movie premiere for Lia. Then it hit me. How was Lia reacting to all of this? I wondered if she saw the pictures from England. I hadn't really talked with her for a while and honestly I wasn't really planning to. I knew she was still in love with Harry and I didn't want anything coming between us.

The questions that were asked on the red carpet was just as expected. All the reporters wanted to know was about Harry and I's relationship. It was clear for everyone to see how Louis was annoyed with it all. There was a point in one of the interviews where he just walked away. Zayn distracted them but I'm pretty sure everyone noticed.

By now, we were all getting ready for our midnight performance. We would go on right before midnight so as soon as we finished our song, the countdown would begin. Everything was planned to the dime. Olivia had already helped me put on my performance outfit along with the boys. we stood by the stage waiting for the performer out on the stage to finish so we could go up.

Zayn and I were warming up our voices. As usual we were also goofing around while doing it. But I could help but notice Harry and Louis having a whispered discussion. With all the noise around us, I couldn't hear them past Zayn's and mine own voice either. Louis' back was to me so I couldn't really tell what it was about, but Harry's eyes kept glancing to me which made me realize it was about me.

"ten seconds!" one of the producers shouted.

The producers of the television channel began rushing us towards the stage stairs. Zayn stood in front of me and Harry behind me, and Louis behind Harry. I felt tension behind me. Like a dark cloud. I turned around to see Harry staring at me. As soon as he realized I was staring back at him, and small smile appeared on his face.

It's funny how much Harry had an effect on me. His small smile could somehow relax and make me tense at the same time. His smile now was on of those times.

sucky chapter I'm aware, but this is more of just a filler chapter 

as you can tel there is many more to come from this story, probably another 20 to 30 chapters, lots of surprises. Can you guess any of them?

I can imagine that you are all hating Louis right now and I don't blame you. He really is being an asshole right now. So hopefully he gets his ass kicked by Cailin haha

So I'm in the middle of moving once again, blah, I hate it all lol

I was thinking about when I started writing Just for Show and realized it's been I think a year already that I have started writing which I think is pretty awesome. Just For Show Aniversary!
