Arshita's Pov

I was busy looking at the butterfly locket that Shubman had gave me while we were still sitting on the swing together, Shubman kept looking at me with a smile on his face while I was bust admiring the locket, and so he asked, "Do you like it that much?" 

"Ofcourse! In fact I love it, this is the most beautiful gift that I've ever received" I said smiling widely and he gave me a look while saying, I'm glad you liked it but ye jyada ho gya!" 

"I'm serious! I mean I have received many gifts but this is my favourite from this moment" I said touching the locket and Shubman smiled as he kissed my forehead saying, "And you're my favourite"

We both chuckled as we joined our foreheads looking into each other's eyes when suddenly we were startled by two voices, "What the fuck!" ''Oh my god!"

Shubman and I immediately turned to look back and found Ishan and Shriya looking at us with wide eyes and unbelievable looks in their faces. I looked at Shubman as he did the same and then we looked back at them as they both came forward and Ishan was the first one to break the silence, "What the hell is going on with you two?"

"Exactly! Ye tom and jerry ki jodi romeo and juliet kbse ban gye?" Shriya also asked while we both stood up and before I could speak Shubman broke the ice saying, "We're dating!"

I looked at him in shock while Shriya and Ishan shared a look between them, while I whispered to Shubman, "Straightaway sach bolne ki kya jarurat thi? Koi aur excuse bhi toh bol skte the na?" 

"Sorry I'm really bad at lying!" Shubman whispered back to me when Shriya spoke up again, "I can't approve of this" 

I looked at her widening my eyes while Shubman gave out a weird look as he asked, "What? Is something wrong with us dating each other?" 

"Sab kuch toh wrong hai! isme right kya dikh rha tum dono ko?" Ishan said and I looked at him glaring as I said, "Excuse me Ishu! How dare you say that?" 

"He's right? How can you guys date? I mean look at you both, you guys are like tow different angle! Have you guys ever even agreed on thing? And bro you said that you get irritated everytime she's around you" Shriya said while I looked at Shubman with a death glare because of that last line she said while he just gave Shriya a pleading look as he said, "That was a lonmh time ago Chia! How can you bring that up right now?" 

"And I swear I didn't say it in the way she described" Shubman said looking towards me and I just sighed while nodding my head as I said, "Okay I can take that because there was a atime when I also said many things about you but it's different now!"

"Yeah like, 'Who does that loser think he is?" Ishan said looking at me and I gave him a 'you better shut up' look while this time Shubman was the one looking at me with a blank face, "That was a long time ago, just like you said" I said while he just sighed when Shriya again spoke up, "But still! You can't do this bro! How can you date someone who tried to bully all of us since the first day of our college"

"Really? Isn't it the same case with some other too Shriya?" I asked while eyeing the two of them as they were also dating now after whatever had happened between our groups.

"That's.....um....that's different" Shriya said giving me a 'please don't let him know' look while Ihshan also immediately nodded his head saying, "Exactly....we- I mean those people really like each other so the past bullying doesn't matter"

"Oh really? Is that so? And you guys still think that I can't date" I asked looking at them smiling cheekily when Shriya nodded her in denial as she finally said, "Not at all! You guys really seem to like each other. Not just that, you guys actually seem like a perfect couple! Right Ishan?" 

"Absolutely right! You guys look so good" Ishan sad while I was smiling mischieviously when Shubman asked with a confused look on his face. "Okay that was a sudden change and I'm confused because I can't really understand what you guys were talking about and who are there other people who ended up dating after a bullying past?" 

"Uhhh that ..... it's just! Ishan will tell you" Shriya said and we all looked at him while he nodded his head smiling nervously as he said, "Uhh vo....these other people......Arshu told me about them! Arshu tell him"

"I did? Yeah yeah ofcourse I know......Actually it's about our seniors! I saw some seniors last year who had the same story soo..." I said looking here and there while Shubman just nodded his as he said, "Okay whatever! But Chia you can't tell anyone about us okay! It's a secret for now"

"You too Ishu, I swear I'll kill you if you open your mouth in front of anyone" I said giving him a glare while both of them nodded like obedient kids when suddenly we heard some shouts from around the corner and looked at each other, "Something's wrong!" Ishan said and we all nodded when I heard a familiar voice shouting and just knew who it was, "That is Manish's voice, let's go and check guys" I said and the three of them nodded and we all immediately went into the direction from where the shouts were coming!

Manish's Pov

I was sitting in my room looking at the ring in my hands as I had decided to confess to Arshita today on valentines day and tell her exactly how much I like her! I had prepared everything to do so but I was still short of one thing, courage! I didn't had the courage to go and tell her about all this because the thing that I feared the most was also losing the friendship because of these one sided feelings of mine if she says no. I would totally be okay if she rejects my proposal but I would be done for if she also breaks off our friendship, I can't ever take ruining our friendship because of some feeling, what if she decides to never talk to me again? What if she's never thought of me more than just a best friend?

"Ring achi hai hai waise" I heard a voice suddenly just beside me and got startled as u turned to look at Hardik wide eyed, he almost gave me a heart attack.

"Kya hai?" I asked him annoyed as I was already tensed enough about this proposal thing and now he was here too, "Hadd hai! Mai toh yaha tujhe motivate krne aaya tha, thk hai chala jata hu, mujhe toh dost ki fikar thi! Mujhe kya kal tak yahi baitha rahega na tab bhi nhi puchne aaunga" Hardik said making a sad face as he got up to go out and I sighed as I said making a puppy face, "Harry!"

He turned back to look over his shoulder and raised an eyebrow while I sighed once again, "Mujhse ye nhi hoga yaar" I said and he finally came back as he sat in front of me and spoke up, "Tu kaun hai?"

"I'm not in the mood for jokes Harry" I said giving him a look while he shooked his head and again asked me the same question, "Maine pucha tu kaun hai?"

"Manish hu, kyu dikh nhi rha?" I said irritated and he punched my arm as he said, "Then act like yourself! Tu itna fattu kbse ho gya? The Manish I know is not like this at all! Jaa aur directly bol de na, jada se jada thappad maar degi, that's it"

"What a motivation!! What if she decides to break off our friendship?" I asked and he just sighed while saying, "Toh tu usko thappad maar dena! You guys have known each other for the longest time, do you think this friendship means nothing to her! She would be an idiot if she even mentions this topic of breaking off being friends" 

"That's why get you ass up right now and go to her valentine day khatam hone ke baad bataega kya?" Hardik said and I took a deep breathe as I finally got up to go out of the room but stopped again as I patted Hardik's back saying, "Thanks bro! mujhe nhi pata tha tu aisi sensible baatein bhi kr skta hai!" 

"Shut up and get lost" He said giving me a look while I smiled and finally went out of the room, I came and looked around almost everywhere but I wasn't able to find Arshita anywhere as she wasn't even with the others who were having a last bonfire of this trip as we were to head back tomorrow. I sighed while only one corner of our camp was left to find Arshita and I was headed to that direction when that girl, Meher from the Kiaan's group came up to me and stopped just in the middle of my way.

"Excuse me!" I said giving her an annoyed look but she just gave me a silly smile, "What the hell do you want?" I asked and the next moment she came close while forwarding a rose towards me as she said, "Hey Manish! Actually I wanted to tell you something"

"But I don't want to hear it" I said irritated as I was already getting late because only some minutes were left for the valentines day to get over and I was still not able to find Arshita.

"Please I have to tell you today only" That girl Meher making a puppy face while I was giving her the most weirdest look as I sighed in annoyance and finally asked while picking up a bottle as I drank some water because I was already nervous, "What? Jaldi bolo?"

"I like you" She said and I almost spat the water on her face as looking at her in shock while she looked at me in horror as she cleaned her face irritatedly, "What the fuck? I knew it! Mai usi din smjh gya tha jab tumne mujhe aankh mari thi, you're such an idiotic girl? Do you have a split personality disorder? Apne group ke samne aise ghurti ho jaise abhi murder kr dogi aur you're confessing to me? Heyy bhagwaan bacha le mujhe, get aside! I don't have time for you nonsense talks" I said almost in one go while she was looking at me sadly but once again held my hand as I was about to leave.

"What's your problem?" I asked jerking her hand away while she almost tripped over because of her heels while I looked at her in shock, because I didn't meant to hurt her even if she's one of our enemies, "Why do you wear these if you don't know how to walk?" I asked as I was going to help her up when someone spoke up.

"What the hell Manish? Have you even lost the basic etiquette about behaving with a girl?" Kiaan asked he and his group came from the other side while I closed my eyes sighing as I was more annoyed now. Why are they wasting my time?

"Saying the one who closed a claustrophobic girl into a cabin in the woods?" I said giving him an annoyed look while he just scoffed, "I knew that was coming, but seriously how can you push Meher like that?"

"Listen mujhse puchne se pehle na Iss idiot ladki se pucho was she was up to? Why don't you tell them?" I said looking at Meher who was acting all like damsel in distress!

"I don't even know what was my fault? Mai toh bs yaha se Jaa rhi thi and Manish pushed me" Meher said while I looked at her in disbelief as I said, "Wow, you're such a great actor, apna drama band kro and tell your friends that you were trying to propose me!"

"Seriously? Do you think I'll take that? Kyu Manish? Is Arshita not sticking to you these days for you to blame others girls of hitting on you?" Oje of the other guys said and I took a deep breathe trying to calm myself as I didn't wanted to create a scene right now, so I just said gritting my teeth,"You dare take her name again and I won't be as nice I'm being with you all right now"

"Oops, we're scared! I'll give you an advice my friend, she won't give any heed because she's one of those girls who use guys for their own plea—" Kiaan was saying while my anger was rising up with every other word and I just couldn't take it anymore.

"I'd already warned you" I said angrily as the next moment I threw a hard pinch at his face and he stumbled back a few steps, "No one talks about her like that, specially in front of me" I said angrily looking at him while she came back and was going to hit me but got another kick from me and the fight increased as his other friends were now ganging up on me, but I just kept hitting any other face that came in front of me. I guess the commotion was way too much because almost the whole camp was now gathered around us.

"What the fuck? Manish stop! Stop it" I heard Arshita's voice from back as I was now on top of Kiaan almost beating the shit out of his face when someone started dragging me back and Kiaan too.

"Please stop, look at yourself, what is wrong with you?" Arshita asked coming in front of me as I realized that Shubman and Ishan were the ones dragging me back.

I looked at Arshita as I was breathing heavily and finally tried to calm myself as I said, "Leave me"

"Nhi tu pagal hai kya? Mai nhi choddunga" Ishan said shaking his head in denial while I sighed as I said, "I'm fine, leave me"

They finally left not before giving me 'You dare not fight again' look.

"What the hell is wrong with you students? Haven't I warned you all enough? And you students? Didn't I told you not to come in our camping side?" Mr.Khurana said shouting while we all looked down and the Kiaan and group went away.

"And you Manish! This topic is definitely going to be discussed once we're back at college tomorrow" Mr. Khurana said looking at me angrily while I just nodded silently.

"Ye sb kya tha?" Shubman asked and I just sighed saying, "As usual, what can they do besides talking shit each and every time"

"Toh tu bhi bol deta! Aise ladne ki kya jarurat thi idiot, look at your face" Arshita said coming in front of me and I just looked at her and said, "Sorry"

"You should be, pagal! Now come with me" She said as she grabbed my hand as we walked towards the medical camp where a doctor was already present.

I got my hands and face cleaned as he did dressing and we were walking back towards the cottages while I kept staring at Arshita who was walking silently beside me.

"Stop staring, and say what you want you" She said and I immediately looked away sighing as I looked at my wrist watch and it was almost one at night which means that Valentines was over and my plan of proposing her too.

"It's nothing" I said shaking my head and she looked at me as we came upto the room she was staying in, "Are you sure?" she asked not convinced with my nothing and I nodded.

"Okay! Good night, get some rest" Arshita said as she was about to open her room's door but I held her hand stopping her and she looked at me with a blank face as she said, "It's not nothing, bol na kya bolna hai Manu"

"Kuch bolna toh tha but time's up!" I said looking down while I was still holding her hand and she looked at me confused, "Heinn? Matlab? What time?"

"Don't worry! What if I can't today, I'll tell it you soon because somethings can't be kept hidden for a long time" I said slowly while she was looking at me with as I was saying something senseless, "You need to sleep, I can't understand anything you're saying" she said and I couldn't help but smile a little at her being so clueless.

"Atleast you laughed, don't be angry okay! I love my best friend when he's happy, or you look really scary" she said and received a glare from me, "See you're scaring me again, bye I'm going to sleep warna mai subha time se nhi uthi aur bus me time se nhi aai toh loudspeaker phatt jaega" Arshita said and I nodded while smiling slightly as she gave me one last smile and went inside her room.

"I swear I'll be the happiest person you look at when you're mine" I murmured to myself while sighing as I also went inside my room trying to think how I was going to tell her about my feelings now!!
