Manish's pov

"God I want seriously want to throw up" Arshita said holding her head in her hands as they all entered the college while she was wearing big black sunglasses and Hardik gave her a look while asking, "Again? You always get such a bad hangover! Aur ye sunglasses kyuu?"

"Because of this!" Arshita said pulling down her sunglasses a bit to show her sleepy eyes and they all chuckled as Hardik said pushing them back on her eyes, "keep them on! Koi darr jaega warna!"

"Who told you to drink? That too alone?" I asked her and she looked at me with puppy eyes as she asked, "Are you still mad at me? I was just trying to challenge Shub but ended up getting drunk"

"Who asked you to do it? What if I hadn't come on time?" I said giving her a look and she just held my hand giving an innocent look as she said, "Sorry na Manu! I know you'd always come in time, whenever I need you"

"Yeah yeah there you go with your buttering!" I said and she just gave me a silly smile while I slightly hitted her head and she made a face saying, "Oww! It's paining and you're hitting me? I already got a big lecture by dad in the morning before leaving the house"

"Good for you! You deserve that" Tanya said smiling cheekily and I nodded my head in agreement while Arshita just made a face when I pulled out a hangover medicine from my pocket and handed it to Arshita, she looked at the medicine and then smiled at me widely as I said, "You better not do anything like that again"

"I promise" she said as she took the water and ate the medicine when Rishabh and Ishan also came upto us as they were extra late today and Rishabh was giving extremely weird looks to Ishan, "Yaar mai bata rha hu iski uttri nhi hai, he's been acting so weird since yesterday" Rishabh said pointing at Ishan who was looking around smilingly.

"Yeah I've noticed that too kal raat me ghar phuch ke bhi sirf smile hi kr rha tha" Tanya said and we all looked in his direction when Hardik hitted his head saying, "Have you gone mad? Itna khush kyu hai?"

"Mai? Maine kya kiya?" Ishan asked confused and we all just looked at each other and then ignored his idiotic smiles as he was again back at it.

"Guys!" Ishan called us but no one answered him so he shouted, "GUYS! AAJ KIS ANNOUNCEMENT KE LIYE YAHA BULAYA GYA HAI?"

"Focus and you'll know Ishan" Mr.Khurana said as he came from back and hitted Ishan's head while he just made a face and we all turned to the front as mom came on the stage and spoke up, "Okay students attention! The results are finally out and I know that you all are either happy or sad about it. And I want to say well done to those who did well and improved and best of luck for the next time to those who aren't happy with it. You get many chances in your life, make the fullest out of all!"

"And if it still makes you sad, here I have a good news for you all! The college is planning a trip which you all have been waiting for! A winter trekking trip to Kasol, it's a beautiful place and I hope you all will enjoy! And you all have got two days to make your parents agree for it! Fill your names in with Mr.Khurana, okay students!" Mom said and everyone hooted happily while she went away and the chatters went up as everyone was now really excited.

"Damn, finally a trip after so long" Arshita said happily and Rishabh asked her, "Now your headache went away?"

"Ofcourse! Why wouldn't it, holiday trips are her favorite" I said keeping a hand around her shoulders and she nodded her head, "But there's still a difficult task to do, asking out our parents!" Tanya said and we all nodded as we decided some ideas to tell them.

After sometime, I was sitting in the cafeteria alone as everyone else was coming after their classes, I opened my phone while I was going through the pictures from last night which Arshita had clicked while she was fully out of her senses. I smiled as I kept swiping at those weird photos when someone patted my back and I immediately closed my phone as I looked behind to find Hardik standing there.

"Tu akela kyu hai?" I asked him as he came and took the seat beside me while saying, "Loudspeaker was telling something to them! Aate hi honge"

"Btw you're making it really obvious nowadays" Hardik said and I looked at him confused as I asked, "What?"

"Your feelings for Arshu! You're being too obvious since some days" Hardik said and I looked at him widening my eyes because I thought that no one knew about my feelings for her all this time, how is this even possible?

"Haiinn? Ye kya bol rha hai? Aisa kuch nhi hai okay" I said looking here and there while Hardik just gave me a look saying, "Ayee hum sbme na maine sbse jada date kiya hai, aur tujhe dekh ke toh koi bhi bata dega ki you love her"

"Really? Does everyone knows about this?" I asked helplessly and Hardik nodded his head saying, "Yes! We all know except one person"

"Kaun?" I asked and Hardik gave me a look as he said, "Arshu! She's really dumb in case of love!"

"I know right! Mai kya kru yaar Harry, I'm so scared to tell her about it! What is she rejects me and break off our friendship?" I asked making a sad face and he sighed while saying, "Shut up yaar, tum dono ek dusre ko bachpan se jaante ho! Even if she doesn't love you back, she'll never break this friendship!"

"Really? Then should I confess to her?" I asked running my hand through my hair because everytime I think about it, it scares me not because of getting rejected but because I value this friendship and her happiness more than anything else and never want to break it off!

"Ofcourse! Be a man and just tell her! I have an idea! Valentines day aa rha hai, what's say?" Hardik said and I looked at him while he just nodded his head for me to consider it so I finally said, "Okay! Then I'll tell her on valentines!"

"Yes I'm proud of you!" Hardik said patting my back when everyone else came from back while Arshita asked, "Kyu? Aisa kya kiya Manu ne?"

"Nothing! He was just telling me ideas to make upto dad for the trip" Hardik said and they all nodded while sitting around the table as we all finally had the lunch and kept planning about this trip.

Third person's pov

"Damn this is going to be so good! I'm already excited about this trip" Abhishek said happily as they all were sitting in the cafeteria together.

"Seriously, this college is much better than we thought it would because of our disastrous start here" Nikita said and they all nodded, "Yes kasol is such a beautiful place! And you're talking to badi maa okay" Shriya said pointing at Shubman and he just sighed while saying, "I'm not going"

"Haiinn kyuu? Pagal hai kya? Everyone is going!" Manjot said giving him a weird look and Shubman spoke up, "I don't want to! Tum log jao, you all know I've never been interested in these things"

"Areyy but-" Shriya was saying but Shubman just shooked his head saying, "Please! You all can go and enjoy, don't think much about me"

"Kya yaar Shub! Hum sb sath me hote toh jada maza aata na" Mayank said while Shubman just shrugged his shoulders focusing on his phone.

After sometime Shriya was headed to the library to return some books, but as soon as she entered in Ishan spoke as he was just waiting at the library's door, "Found you"

Shriya stooped suddenly as she turned around and found Ishan smiling at her, she looked at him for a moment while he waited for her to say something just wishing that she wasn't one of those persons who forget everything the other day after drinking.

"Why were you finding me?" Shriya asked with a blank face while Ishan narrowed his eyes as he asked, "Don't you have something to say to me?"

"Like what?" Shriya asked making a confused face and Ishan sighed as he was getting more and more curious now about whatever she confessed to him last night.

"Like... You know... yesterday... In the club.... You said that you -" I was saying and she gasped as she asked, "Oh God! Maine kuch embarrassing kiya kya last night? I don't really remember anything clearly, I was so drunk and I don't even know why I do weird things"

"So you don't remember anything?" Ishan asked with a straight face and and Shriya nodded her head saying, "Yeah! I always do stupid things! Never believe anything I said when I was drunk okay! I just spill nonsense"

"Yeah... Fine! I'll get going" Ishan said looking away as she claimed that because he thought that her confession may also be just a stupid thing she did while she was drunk. He turned to go back out of the library when suddenly Shriya came in front of him and stopped him holding his hand as she asked, "How was my acting?"

"HUhh? What? Acting?" Ishan asked confused and she laughed and nodded her head saying, "Yes acting! I was just teasing you! I remember each and everything that happened last night, you're such a gentleman! You even denied to kiss me just because I was drunk! And that made me like you even more than I liked you yesterday. So this is my answer, I would love to be your girlfriend"

"Are you serious?" Ishan asked widening his eyes as his face broke into a huge grin as Shriya nodded her head and the next moment he hugged her tightly as she smiled widely while hugging him back as Ishan said, "I like you so much! You got me so scared"

"I know. Now leave me, we're still in the library if you remember" Shriya said chuckling and Ishan immediately got away from her, "And yeah, remember one thing! No one should know about this, okay! Our groups already have enough of reasons to fight" Shriya said and Ishan just made a sad face while nodding his head, "Yeah right! But it's fun to do romance in secret, see you around girlfriend" Ishan said as he suddenly kissed her cheek and went away smiling widely.

Arshita reached home after finally the college ended while she had been thinking about the ideas to ask her dad about the trip!

She went in and saw her dad sitting in the living room as she silently went and sat beside him picking up an apple and munching on it while her dad was busy doing something on laptop. She kept eating while looking here and there and doing all sorts of weird things while thinking of the perfect way and the perfect moment when her dad sighed and turned to her.

"What is it?" her dad asked and she looked at him startled as she said, "What? I didn't said anything"

"But you want to! Go on, I'm ready to listen for your another demand" Her dad said and she took a deep breathe as she finally spoke up, "Uhh.. The thing is you know that... The trip from the college"

"Obviously I know" Her dad said and she nodded her head as she continued, "So about that, you know Kasol is really a nice place for a break and to get off of the stress and everything, it's really refreshing and almost half of the college is going for it so I was thinking.... If I could too... You know..."

"I mean I really do want to go because all of my friends are going.... But I really won't go if you don't want me to... You know because.... You always give me whatever I ask for and even if you deny this time. I won't pressure you, because you're as always the best dad" Arshita said and her dad looked at her for a moment as he finally said, "Is that it? Okay then, I don't think you should go! There have been many troubles already since this semester started so it's better if you stay back home"

"What? I... I mean... I... Well... I really want... Nevermind" Arshita said making face as she got up to go to her room silently and her dad started laughing, she suddenly turned back and looked at him as he said, "God! Why can't you just say that you want to go so much, I was just messing with you"

"Really? Then can I go?" Arshita asked happily and her dad nodded his head while saying, "Yes you can! Do I even have the power to stop you? You always end up getting my approval"

"Aww thank you so much dad! I love you, you're the best" Arshita said smiling widely as she hugged him happily when the next moment Manish entered in and spoke without even looking around, "Arshu, did your plan worked? I know my idea was great, you just had to butter up your dad a little bit"

"Shut up you idiot" Arshita shouted as she immediately ran upto him giving out a glare while her dad was already looking at him amused, "So it was your idea"

"Shitt!" Manish murmured as he looked at her dad and then at Arshita who was giving him dead glares, so he just said, "No... I mean... I just.... Yeah it was me"

"You guys won't ever change, what do I do" Her dad said trying not to laugh at their expressions and they just looked here and there, "People don't change very often uncle" Manish said and her dad just laughed while Arshita hitted his arm.

"We're going for some shopping dad, see you later" Arshita said as she dragged Manish out of the house and her dad chuckled while saying, "Of course! Be back on time"

"Are you crazy? I barely got his approval and you came shouting like an idiot, bolne se pehle aas paas dekha toh kar" Arshita said giving a look to Manish and he just gave her a silly smile while saying, "Legends never think before speaking"

"Shut up you legend, what did your mom said?" Arshita asked as they both sat in his car and Manish started driving as he said, "Nothing much, just some warning, taunts, scolding and last chance"

"You deserve that" Arshita said laughing and Manish just shooked his head giving her a look, "She agreed anyway, and that's all that matters" Manish said and they just chuckled as they were really excited now for this trip.

Meanwhile on the other side Shriya who was trying to get the permission for the trip was finding it difficult because Shubman wasn't ready to go and his mom won't let her go alone.

"But badi all of my friends are going, I'll really be fine I promise" Shriya said but she just shooked her head in denial as she said, "Maine dekha vo freshers night aur last night ko, how you take care of yourself"

"Arey but I promise badi maa, please. Please let me" Shriya was saying when Shubman came upto them and said, "Let her go mom, she's not a kid! She's responsible enough to take care of herself"

"Tu kyu nhi Jaa rha? Tu jata toh mai bina puche use bhej deti" His mom said while Shubman just sighed as he said, "I'm not interested. Ab aap meri wajah se uska mood kharab mat kro please mom, she'll be fine right Chia?"

"Of course I promise" Shriya said making a puppy face and his mom finally nodded her head saying, "Fine. You can go, take care of yourself okay"

"Yaya thank you so much badi maa and you too bro! You're the best, but you should come too, if you change your mind somehow" Shriya said happily and Shubman just nodded his head giving her a small smile as he went upto his room.

Shubman came and layed on his bed as he opened his phone and started scrolling through his Instagram when he came across some suggestions and saw Arshita's profile!

He opened it getting curious and saw her recent post which was a selfie of her and Manish as they were on shopping for the trip, he kept looking at the photo as he suddenly got annoyed of the fact of Manish being so close to her.

"Is this how best friends click a picture? Did she lied to me about her relationship?" Shubman murmured making a face as he stared at the photo of both of them and then started scrolling down her posts while his frown was slowly turning into a smile as he was looking at her photos.

He suddenly stopped scrolling as he immediately closed his phone and murmured to himself, "What's wrong with me? Did I smiled? No! This can't be"

He was debating with himself when his phone suddenly beeped with a message and he immediately looked at it while his eyes went wide because it was from Arshita, who said, "You're caught stalking me! 😉"

What the hell? How in the world does she know? I didn't even messaged her! How did this even happen? He thought as he kept looking at his phone when he realized that he had liked one of her old picture by mistake while scrolling down. Shubman closed his eyes annoyed as he ran a hand through his hair, as he looked back at the text when she messaged once again, "Heard you aren't going on the trip Mr.Stalker! We won't miss you I promise 😁😁"

Shubman kept staring at the text as he thought about all the moment when he found himself smiling because of Arshita's silly habits and antics, and he was smiling once again now because of this text, "I guess I should make sure you don't miss me" Shubman murmured as he closed off his phone smilingly because somewhere deep inside he wanted to know the reason for all these things which were happening to him, the feeling which he had never felt before.
