The male leaned against the wall of Seaward cave, his hands in the pockets of his denim jeans as he whistled a tune he heard on the radio. His green eyes scanned the area for his friend, as his raven locks and dark green button up shirt swayed slightly from the breeze coming from the entrance. He wondered why his friend asked to meet here, as they could very well talk during work, and why he was supposed to arrive in non-uniform. He leaned his head back to rest on the rocky walls and shut his eyes. Waiting sure was boring.

'Ein!'

The male's eyes shot open to his name being called, and he turned his head to find a familiar caramel haired man making his way towards him. He too was in non-uniform, as he wore a sherbet orange t-shirt under a denim jacket, as well as a pair of dark grey jeans. He stopped in front of his friend, running a hand through his hair.

'Sorry I was late, Scorpio had me take care of something last minute.'

'Doesn't really matter, Avory.' Ein shrugged 'But I am curious to why you wanted us to meet in private.'

'I wanted to discuss my plan on getting the siblings out of there.'

The ravenette's tired eyes widened slightly 'What? Since when was that on our to do list?'

'Since I said so.' Avory crossed his arms 'Come on you can't seriously tell me you don't want to help them, too.'

'Well, I do but--'

'But nothing. They can't keep going through all this. They need help sooner rather than later.'

Ein was silent for a moment, his eyebrows furrowed as he stared down at his feet. He was right, they can't keep living like that. Megan's already lost a child, meaning her siblings basically lost a niece/nephew. The human heart can only take so much. Sighing, he lifted his head to gaze at Avory's charcoal eyes.

'Alright, what's the plan?'

(Timeskip)

'Dude, this will never work! It's bound to fail!'

The two males stood in front of the building named 'Aether Paradise'. One stared up at it calmly while the other kept spouting negativity at his companion. Avory groaned.

'Would you relax? I know what I'm doing.'

'Really? Because it looks to me like your about to confess everything to Gladion Aether.'

'Actually that's exactly what I'm doing.'

'Exactly! Are you out of your mind?! We'll most likely end up in prison, if not dead. Do you not realize how the kid gets when he's mad--'

'Ein, dude, chill.'

Avory turned Ein to face him and placed his hands on his shoulders, a calm yet serious expression plastered on his face.

'You gotta trust me on this one. I know what I'm doing, and I know Gladion's going to listen to what I want to tell him.' he said determinedly.

Ein frowned 'How can you be so sure?'

'Because I have this.'

The male took a small item out of his pocket, holding it up for his friend to see. Ein's eyes widened.

'Woah, dude I love you and all, but as a brother. Besides, isn't that going a bit--'

'I'm not proposing, dipsh*t!' Avory snapped 'It's Megan's promise ring, she gave it to me in the infirmary. She's the one who thought of the plan.'

'Right, so she's insane. Got it.'

'No!' the caramel haired man groaned 'Why do you have to be so difficult sometimes?!'

His friend held his hands up 'Hey just thinking about our well-being here.'

'Well stop! It's annoying!'

Ein rolled his eyes 'Alright, alright... what's the woman's plan?'

Avory began explaining what the girl had said to him in as much detail as he could, as Ein listened while nodding every now and then. When the caramel head finished, he eagerly waited for a response.

Ein was silent for a moment, before letting out a satisfied hum 'That's actually a pretty good plan.'

'Told you so.' Avory patted the guy's shoulder before brushing past him, walking towards the entrance of Aether paradise 'Now that we're on the same page, let's go through with it.'

Ein replied with a small 'ok' before speed walking to his friend's side, hands in his pockets.

'Oh, and Ein?'

'What...?'

'For the record I am straight, unlike some people~'

The ravenette's face burned a bright shade of red 'S-Shut up!'

(Gladion POV)

'The thing is, we don't know where abouts in the cave the lab is.' Ashe stated 'We could've found it out, but we had an... interruption.'

I rolled my eyes before throwing one of my gloves at her. She stuck her tongue out in response.

'Well what do you suggest we do?' Hau spoke up from next to Lillie 'Search every rock, wall and hole for anything suspicious?'

'It could come to that.' Rose sighed, taking away the pencil she was balancing on her lip.

'There's gotta be some other way. Their lives could be in danger.' Sun frowned.

Suddenly Prince stood up on the bed, ears perked up and eyes slightly wide as he sniffed the air. Green, who was sitting next to him raised an eyebrow.

'You smell something, boy?'

'Umbre!' the dark type took off in a hurry, causing everyone in the room to scramble to their feet and run after him. Hau, being the fastest was ahead of us all, his sneakers making a loud tapping sound on the tile floor as he ran.

'Prince, slow down!' Lillie yelled out. She and Rose were falling behind.

We ran and ran, keeping our eyes fixed directly on the Pokémon as he scampered across the Aether grounds... until he stopped in front of two men. He seemed confused, but began circling them and taking in their scent. Then he began growling at the caramel haired one.

'Prince, what's up with you?' Sun frowned, scrunching his nose up slightly.

Prince didn't answer directly, but proceeded to use psychic on the male and push him towards us. More specifically me.

I stared at him up and down for a moment, taking his nervous expression as a sign of him wanting to discuss something. I then remembered how Prince was lured to him because of his scent.

Then it clicked.

I turned my head to the Pokémon and mouthed 'Megan?'

He nodded.

My face immediately morphed into a scowl, and I grabbed the guy by the collar of his shirt.

'Alright, f*cker who the hell are you and why are you here?!'

His eyes were wide as they stared at me, his hands gripping onto my wrists as now only his toes touched the ground. His raven haired companion seemed equally as shocked.

'Gladion what are you doing?!' Ashley yelled angrily.

'He has Megan's scent on him!'

Everyone gasped.

'D-Dude calm do-'

'Where the hell is she?' I demanded in a low menacing voice.

'I-It's kinda hard to say when you're- when you're threatening me like this.' He shot back with a gulp, his face getting redder the longer I held him in the air.

'Well suck it up, cause I'm not--'

'Gladion.' Guzma ordered from behind me which caused me to stop in my tracks. I grunted and dropped the man, taking a step back and allowing him to catch his breath.

The other male came up next to him and placed a hand on his shoulder 'You ok, man?'

'Yea... Yea I'm fine.' he breathed out 'Just... took me by surprise is all.'

Green and Red stepped forward, eying the male with suspicion 'Who exactly are you guys?' Green asked with arms crossed over his chest.

'I'm Ein.' the ravenette introduced in a bored voice 'This guy's Avory.' he pointed to his friend, who was straightening his shirt as he gave us a small peace sign.

Rose walked up to the boys, craning her head as she squinted menacly at them. They shifted uncomfortably as she spoke 'Where's my best friend?'

'Come again?'

'Megan, the sarcastic brat, where is she?'

Sarcastic brat? Is that what she calls Megan in exchange for being called peanut?

Avory and Ein exchanged glances, before the caramel head was nudged towards us. He glared back at his friend, before turning to us and sighing.

'We want to help you get to her.'

I scoffed 'Sure you are. You're just trying to gain our trust, so when we come with you you'll ambush us and--'

'Gladion!' Sun punched my shoulder.

'What? You can't seriously trust them, can you?'

'No, but we can't jump to conclusions either. Remember last time you did that?'

I fell silent, and my gaze fell to the floor 'Continue...'

'...Okay... Uh, actually I'll show you something. to show we're on your side.' Avory stated, fiddling around in his pockets to find whatever he needed. I glanced up at him through my hair.

'Go on then.'

'Yea, just hang o- Ah hah!' He pulled out an item, holding it up so we could all see it. It was more than just a little familiar to me.

'Where did you get that?' I whispered, staring at the ring with sorrowful eyes.

Avory Outstretched it to me, allowing me to take it and clutch it tightly in my palm. I clenched my jaw, tears forming in the corners of my eyes.

'Megan wanted me to give that to you, to show we aren't enemies.' Avory stated, stuffing his hands in his pockets 'Oh, and. She says that she forgives you, and that she loves you.'

I couldn't stop them. The tears just fell right there

'I love you, too...'

So... If you haven't noticed, my chapters haven't been as frequent as they used to be. And there's a reason for that.

As you may or may not know, I am a student at college studying in the fields of Performing arts. Meaning I gotta do a lot more than just write essays. Anyway, We're going to be throwing a play in March, which is really soon, so things are a bit hectic atm. Making matters worse, I was cast as two pretty big roles, so I need to memorise the lines as best I can. Don't get me wrong, it's an honour, but I'm actually really stressed right now. And how do I deal with stress? By taking it all out on a punching bag. Literally.

Kinda painful to write tbh... Silly me...

Just saying I might not post as often as I used to. So for that I apologise. Don't hate me plez ;-;
