I fold my dress and set it down in my suitcase. Then zip it up, I grab my second suitcase and put it on my bed opening it up.

My mom appears in the doorway of my room. "How's the packing going?" She asks crossing her arms. "Good, one more suitcase and then a duffle bag. Then we can head out." I say.

My mom nods and then comes closer sitting on my bed. "Now, I want you to start taking birth control. For your, well you know, and in case something happens to you." She says.

I nod and put a pair of heel diamond studded pradas in my suitcase. "Thanks mom, for everything. Even though you weren't always the best or there for me. Your my mom and I love you." I say.

She smiles as tears well in her eyes, she comes to give me a hug then leaves so I can finish packing.

"Everyone sit back and relax. For the next eight and a half hours you will be flying on our airlines. Thank you and have a nice rest of the flight." The flight attendant walks over rolling the cart down the isle.

My parents waved me goodbye and gave me kisses and hugs. But now I'm an independent young woman going to college.

Soon the tray stops by me. I grab nuts, a neck pillow, mask for my eyes, and a Hershey bar. Then put the neck pillow around my neck and rip open my bag of nuts.

Then eat one as it crunches. I throw six more in my mouth and put them in the cup holder. I open my Hershey bar and eat a piece.

The chocolaty flavours melting onto my tastebuds. Covering it in the sweet brown substance. I eat more nuts and two more pieces of my candy. Then put on my mask and close my eyes.

My eyes open to darkness and I start to panic. Then realize my mask is still on, so I take it off and put it on the seat next to me.

I look out the window and see the ocean beneath the gliding plane. And a beautifull bridge. Which I can only assume is the golden gate bridge.

"This is your captain speaking. We will be landing in ten minutes. So put up your trays and prepare for landing. And thank you for choosing Cathay Pacific Airlines."

I put my tray up and put my candy bar in my purse along with my nuts and mask. When we land I get my stuff and grab a rental car.

I put my things in the trunk and get in the driver seat starting the engine. The radio clicks on and music fills the car. I hit the gas pedal starting to drive. Then set the location on my GPS so I don't get lost.

"You will arrive at your destination at 1:45 p.m." The GPS informs, fourty five minutes precisely. Perfect.

I take a turn onto the road and drive straight. My hand reaches for the dile on the radio and I turn it up a bit, this is so exiting college is less then an hour away.

It feels like It was so recently when I was starting high school and now I'm here. An eighteen year old girl driving in the streets of San Fransisco.

A red light makes me come to a stop. Since there's a hood on my rental I put it down and smile. I brush the hair out of my face and place it behind my ear.

The light turns green and cars move along, horns honk, people walk, and the sun shines. The wind blows through my straight/wavy dirty blonde hair.

I open the door to my new housing room. It's clean and new. I put my bags by the cute little bed near the window.

The room I got has a bed pre set up. I set my laptop on it so it's more claimed. Then sit down on it, everything looks so nice.

A girl walks in. She's black with black curly hair and brown eyes. She has on a mauve dress and black leather jacket with heels.

"Hi, I'm Loren!" She says reaching her hand out to me. "Hi, I'm Carmella." I say. She smiles. "Okay, before anything else happens I want to set some...ground,rules." She says.

"Shoot." I say. "Okay, no smoking, drugs, hard alchol, boys over when I'm here. And no doing things on my bed or on my side of the room. Also, no loud satin like music or rituals." She stops with a smile. Her teeth sparkle.

"Okay, no problem. Hey, let's go get some food." I say, "I have free unlimited food for three weeks." She smiles and we walk out the room.

"So, are you from San Francisco?" She asks me. "Um, no Orgeon. Well not originally but I moved there."

"So, have a boyfriend?" "Yes, his name is Zach. I love him." I say. She smiles, something I've noted she does alot. "I've never had a boyfriend." She says.

"Well darn, that is really unfortunate. So, you really don't know what it's like to have a boyfriend?" She shakes her head.

"Sorry, anyway have family?" I ask, "yes a mom, two brothers and a sister." She says. "Mmm, no dad?"

"Uh, no. He left my mom three years ago." She says, "oh." "What about you?" She asks plastering a new smile on her face.

"A mom and dad, that's all." I say, "oh and a baby sister?" I say, she nods. We get to the dining hall and get lunch. Then we sit down.

I bite into my sandwich and chew, then swallough the food. "So, what did you do over summer?" I ask, "my family and I went to Napa for a week." She says chewing on a fat fry.

"I wish my parents took me there, they only started giving a shiz about me during summer. How convenient. Am I right?" She frowns.

"Sorry, maybe you miss interpreted them." She says. I shake my head, "nope that's always been my parents. I had a nanny from kindergarten till sixth grade. My parents were either always working or traveling. Whatever I'm glad I'm gone and away, here and not there."

She nods and bites into her burger. Then scarfs the rest down. "Okay, we have to go unpack." She says. I take two more bites and grab my soda walking back to the dorm with her.

"Gosh unpacking is literally one of my biggest pet peeves." "I know, but don't worry. After we can go to the welcoming party!" She shouts happily.

I let out a little snort and we keep walking. We walk in our dorm and close the door, she turns on some music as we unpack and talk.

"Okay, let's get ready for that party!" Loren shouts. I blow dry my hair since I just washed it in the shower. Then straighten it and do a naturaul make up look.

I put on light pink matte lipstick and open my drawer. Loren walks over and holds a dress in front of me. I smile and take it to the bathroom to try on.

I throw my towel on the floor and look at the dress in amazment.

I put it on with my matching pink prada heels with a diamond studded heel. Then walk out the bathroom.

"Yes, work it girl you look great!" She says, I blush and then grab my phone. "So, you ready?" She nods and we walk out the dorm room.

We make our way to were the welcoming party is being held for the freahmen.

I pour some soda in my red plastic cup and drink out of it. I walk back over to Loren and her friend Melanie. She is white with light pink hair. With brown eyes and rockerish clothes.

"You know I think somone spiked the soda with vodka." She says looking in her cup. I take a sip and taste a strong vileness. "Ugh, yes, yes they did." I say, I take another sip and feel a gag in the back of my throat.

"Yah, this is gross." I throw away the cup and go to grab a cupcake instead. I walk to the table and look at all the options.

"They look really good huh?" The voice asks, "yah I can't ch-." My voice stops when I see who it is.

Clay.

"Clay?! You go to school here?" I ask mindboggled. "Yeah, and I'm glad you do to. Um, actually I remember you saying you wanted to go here. So I decided to go here too." He says.

"What? Why?" I ask. "Look, Carmella I was the stupidest guy ever for cheating on you. And with your best friend of all people. I loved you, I never stopped loving you, and that's not a lie." He exhales.

"What? What the hell are you going on about, Clay. I don't have time for this." I say. He rubs his left eye brow and comes closer to me.

And hands me a silver ring with a blue saphire imfinity sighn. Then looks in my eyes. "Will you get back together?" My eyes buldge and I become speechless.

I look around and panic. I snatch a cupcake off the table and walk away wirh him walking after me. Then I find my words.

"I-I-I don't know!" I shout. "Well I need an answer!" I whip around, "fine you want an answer?" I ask, "Why here why now? Why couldn't you just stay away and-and jus-."

He shuts me up with a kiss, holding my face in his hands. His kiss is soft, warm, and lingering. Then he pulls away, I begin to speake "want an answer, well, her it is..."
