Dash looked at Valley and then back at the rope, and then back at her and then back at the rope.

Darn it! This is so hard...if I killed myself..I could he with her, but then I would be committing suicide... I don't want to die and at the same time I do. I would miss all the people back here but I could be with Valley for the rest of my life.

He went over to the rope and picked it up.

What am I doing...Valley...why did I hurt you...I didn't know I was hurting you that way..

"You weren't." A familiar voice said behind Dash. He turned around.
"V- Valley? Dash stuttered.
" No not Valley...it's Shadow.." Shadow said.
"But..then why do you look like that? Your body is faded in the night and I can barely see you as the minutes go by." Dash said.
"I have to tell you something private. Very serious and you need to follow me." Shadow said and grabbed his hand.

They both quietly snuck into a dark room and Dash saw that Speed was there.
"What is he doing here?" Dash asked.
"He has to be here." Shadow rolled her eyes.
"Hey watch your mouth pip." Speed glared at her.

"Pip?" Dash asked.
"Yea. It goes well. She looks like a pip...baby pip." Speed joked.
"Shut up already. Both of you follow me." Shadow ordered.
"Whatever you say baby pip." Speed answered.

Speed and Dash followed Shadow to a weird room filled with old pictures.

"What the..what is this place? I don't remember being here before." Speed asked observing the place.
"It's because you haven't. This room is full of memories from the Livingston family." Shadow said.

"Hey..wait a minute isn't that the girl at our school? Lucy,was it?" Speed asked.
"Yea that's her. Except she doesn't know she has an important past." Shadow said. She pulled off the covers from a large family photo. The photo had girl twins at the bottom and a middle aged boy between them there was an older girl and there was an older boy. The parents were at the back.

"This is Lucy's family. The one she doesn't know about." Shadow said.

Speed examined the photo closely.
"Hey...wait a minute. I feel like I know the oldest boy in the picture...AHA! I knew it! That's Lord Dracul.... wait.. If that's Lord Dracul and one of them is Lucy...that means... No.." Speed trembled.
"Yes..Lord Dracul is her brother. And I could tell you who the others were...but you wouldn't believe me." Shadow sighed.

"Tell us pip." Speed insisted.
"Fine, but no stupid reactions. The middle aged boy is....Dash and the twin on the left...is me..." Shadow quickly turned around.

"You...you're my sister? And Lucy is my...sister too..and I'm related to Lord Dracul... And..wow.." He stammered.
"Yea..." Shadow blushed.

"Little baby pip. You really outdid yourself this time." Speed said.
"I..would've told you sooner...but I...I wasn't allowed to. And the older girl is...never mind..." Shadow said.

"Please tell me!" Dash insisted.
"You're not ready...I wouldn't want to hurt you.." Shadow sighed.

If I told you...she was Valley...you would be devastated...

"I..uh..we should go..." Shadow started leaving.

Speed let Dash go ahead and grabbed Shadow by the arm.

"Hey..pip." Speed asked.
"What now." Shadow said and pulled her arm away.
"I..know I don't play this card that much..but... it must have been hard for you to see your older than Lord Dracul brother die..." Speed said.
"Wha- What...no...I um...well..I don't know what to say to that, Speed. When Ryan died..he..came back...for his girl.. And then she betrayed him...so I don't want Dash to do the same mistake....that's all." Shadow explained.

"Oh..ok...let's go..baby pip." Speed smiled at her and walked away.

Is it weird that I feel myself...maybe...falling for a guy like Speed?
