She thought herself divine
But she was poison on a vine
A façade of superiority waft o'er her head
As beneath she feasted and feed
On other's vigor she did sup
While drinking lifeblood from her cup.
Alas, the day did come she met her mortality.
The devil came and dined upon her dignity
Plunging his fangs into her face
Blood flowed red in disgrace
Upon her illusionary smock.
The demon teeth tore flesh from cheek, a warlock
Seeking vengeance for her conceit;
He dined upon her flesh leaving only bones to depict defeat.
