Faith was waiting on the couch. Sarah knew she should be in bed but she was waiting for her father. Faith was 12 now and Jr was 10 and Hope was 2 and already walking.

"Mommy, when is daddy coming?" Faith asked.

Suddenly the door opened and it was Arthur. Faith jumped down and ran to him, "DADDY!"

Arthur smiled and bent down to hug her, "hey princess, how come you're still up, huh? Were you waiting for me?" he kissed her nose, "come on I'll tuck you in and read you a bedtime story."

Sarah smiled and watched him take her to her bedroom. She followed and watched them by the doorway.

Arthur had tucked Faith into bed and sat beside her reading in a low voice to soothe her and hopefully send her to sleep. Faith smiled as she slowly fell asleep holding her Joker doll that Sarah use to have that Arthur made and Faith had since she was born. She then fell asleep once he was almost finished. Arthur continued to the end of the story even though she was asleep. Once he finished he carefully stood and kissed her gently on the forehead

"Goodnight, princess," he then headed for the door and saw Sarah standing there. He smiled at her, surprised she'd been there the whole time.

She then hugged him happy he was home. He then shut door and hugged her back.

"How was work as Joker?" She kissed is nose.

"...busy...," he yawned, "we've got a few leads we're chasing up, and yes.....we've had a few problems, Harley's probably mentioned it, but it's nothing we can't handle."

"I wish I could help, but you know Uncle Bruce," she giggled and nuzzled his nose, "He says heroes don't need to navigate until there's a lead...well for me." Suddenly she heard Baby Hope cry. She sighed and went to her room. "Oh what's wrong, honey?" She maybe 2 but she couldn't talk...yet. Some kids don't talk early, the doctors say it's normal.

Arthur went to the nursery door, "do you want me to take her so you can get some sleep?"

Hope reached her Buggy doll that her uncle gave her. She was very close to her uncle. Sarah looked down and saw her Buggy doll fell on the floor. "Oh did Uncle Buggy fell?"

She nodded as Arthur picked him up.

"Well, she loves her Uncle. Funny thing, the first person she saw when she was born was Buggy of course. They have a close connection. Just like you and Faith do."

Sarah then laid her down in the crib and Arthur set the Buggy doll beside Hope.

"I know," Arthur smiled as they left the room, "I actually think it's kind of cute. Also, don't tell Buggy but I think it's his nose that she loves the most."

Sarah giggled, "I think he knows."

She got into her pajamas with Arthur and they lay in bed together. She leaned in holding his face and kissed him.

He wrapped his arms around her and kissed her back, "I love you."

"I love you too, Artie," he then rolled ontop of her and she blushed. He brushed a strand on her hair back and kissed her again, deeply this time. She held his face and kissed him back.

"....on second thoughts... maybe I'm not that sleepy after all," he smirked, kissing down her neck as his hands pulled at her pj shorts.

Sarah gasped, but covered her mouth. "We do have to be quiet," she whispered, "the kids might hear us."

Arthur then paused and rest his head on her belly, chuckling softly, "...it really ruins the moment when you mention the kids hearing us. It makes me paranoid and puts me off," he then sat up and kissed her cheek, "maybe at the weekend we can ask Buggy and Harley to babysit. Then we can get some alone time."

"Sorry, I mean...we can do it, but quietly. We've done it before. I wonder how Buggy and Harley do it all the time," she giggled.

Arthur laughed, "I know we have it's just....I miss the days when we could make love without worrying about the noise. I don't like having to worry about every little freak of the bed," he pulled her close and nuzzled her neck, "... and as for Harley and Buggy....you should ask her. I'm not asking him. And honestly, I can't imagine those two being very quiet."

Sarah giggled. She kissed his nose and nuzzled her nose behind his ear. Then she sensed something bad. As if death was near in the room. He wasn't though. Usually he would pop out of nowhere making them jump. But this was a feeling.

"Arthur?"

"Yeah?" he yawned again and pulled her close.

"...what if...one day...you never come home? Like...never at all?"

Arthur looked at her confused, "honey, I'll always come home to you and the kids," he then got her meaning, ".....oh you mean....well if anything bad ever does happen, you'll be taken care of. You know I have money. And you wouldn't be alone. You have family who'd support you."

"...I know...and I don't think I could ever remarry." She teared up, "I-I don't ever want to loose you, Artie. You're my whole life." She brushed his cheek.

"Hey...," he said softly and pulled her into a hug, "don't upset yourself over it, honey. I chose the kind of life I live, I know it's dangerous so I'm aware of the risks," he rubbed his nose against hers, "and you don't have to remarry. But...I think I'd rather you be happy again with someone than be sad and alone."

"...no one could ever replace you." She held his face and kissed him.

They were asleep the whole night until her Omnitrix went off signaling that crime was going on. She groaned waking up and Arthur as well. It was 2 in the morning.

"Seriously, '79? Why not let Uncle Bruce do this?" Sarah muttered using the Omnitrix to change her Alien Phantom outfit in a flash as Arthur slipped on his Joker suit and grabbed his mask.

"Who's going to watch the kids?" Arthur asked, "there's nobody on standby. I thought tonight was going to be a quiet night."

"We could ask Sophie and Gary. They wouldn't mind, would they?"

After Gary agreed to stay, they both left and Sarah send a text to Harley to tell her crime was going on. Luckily her and Buggy were awake because they were on their 15th round of making love, but just making out of this point.

Harley told Sarah that they'd meet them at the location, so they quickly got out of bed and got dressed. They then jumped in their car and sped to meet up with Arthur and Sarah.

Turned out the location on Alien's map in her Omnitrix that 079 showed her where the crime was happening at. It was an abandoned factory. Inside The Joker and Arlong had their goons of clowns and mutants kidnap a group of cops.

"I don't see the point of this," Kuroobi said.

"Neither can I," Pisaro scratched the back of his head.

"You will!" Arlong growled at them, "you just need to be patient. This is where we finally get our revenge and skin ourselves a couple of clowns."

"We're not clowns!" The police snapped.

The Joker turned to Arlong, "yes revenge, but not clowns."

The Joker then motioned his finger to one of his goons to come. Bus Driver clown came with a gasoline tank pouring it on the cops.

"First gasoline...and a match," he smirked.

"Why you doing this!?" One of the cops snapped at The Joker and Arlong.

"For locking my friend and I up."

Before The Joker could strike a match, someone pounced on him for it was an alien monkey spider.  "SPIDER MONKEY!"

Arlong and his men all looked at each other confused, seeing the Joker freaking out over the monkey creature. Unlike regular humans, the fish men were more difficult to scare.

"No anything for you turn Ultimate! Don't go Ultimate!" The Joker panicked, but then he noticed Joker, Captain Buggy and Harley. Harley jumped and attacked Arlong with her mallet.

Joker began shooting at the Joker's goons to get them to leave, while Buggy separated his body and began to attack Arlong's fishfolk.

"Be careful, Harley baby," he yelled to Harley.

He knew she could handle herself, but still. Arlong was big and strong.

"Come on get out of here!" Joker snapped at the goons, firing his gun over and over to scare them away.

The Joker got up to run. Alien smirked. She twist the badge in her chest and transformed into the ultimate form. She was about to trap him, but Pisaro threw crates down at her with Kuroobi.

Alien Phantom then timed out and groaned under the crates. She crawled out holding her head. The Joker smirked and stomped his foot which made his knife pop out and ran towards her. She was in too much pain to see, but Joker noticed.

Arlong threw her down and suddenly Buggy screamed for he couldn't move. Someone splashed water on him and it wasn't normal water. It was salt water.

"NO!!" Joker yelled once he saw Alien was in trouble and jumped in front of The Joker to stop him, to keep him from hurting her.

Buggy was too weak to move properly. He lay on his back, his body parts slowly reattaching back together. He didn't notice Arlong at first, but he was stomping his way, until Harley jumped on his back to stop him.

Harley then hit Arlong hard with her mallet. Arlong frowned at her and slammed her down hard on the ground. Harley couldn't move. She tried to get up, but Arlong held her down holding her face tightly.

Alien noticed seeing Joker was stabbed in the heart by The Joker's knife shoe. Alien panicked, "JO!!!" Her eyes turned white and her whole body glowed. She held her hands up as she floated in the air and knocked The Joker down by her force powers. She set on her feet and ran to Joker and held him, "Jo??? JO!?"

Joker opened his eyes and looked at her sleepily, "Sarah....I-I'm sorry. So long as you're...okay. I had to...I don't regret it," He weakly tried to stroke her face, but then his hand dropped, "I....love y-you and the kids—" his eyes then closed again and he stopped breathing.

Alien then teared up, "no...no...No!!!!"

Buggy had just turned himself over when he heard Harley scream. He looked up and saw Arlong drop her to the ground.

"Harley? HARLEY?!" he crawled to her on his hands and knees and when he reached her he realized she was gone. Her neck had been broken.

"YOU BASTARD!!!" He yelled at Arlong who laughed as he walked away.

"It feels good to cause you pain, clown!" Arlong laughed.

Alien Phantom broke down holding Joker close to her. She then noticed what Arlong did to Harley. She frowned. She held her hands out using telekinesis powers to lift a bulldozer.

"Wait, where did she get that Bulldozer?" Arlong asked.

Alien then slammed down ontop of him. He was unconscious by the impact. Alien held Joker tightly and went to Buggy taking her cape off to dry him while she held Joker. "I'm gonna take him to the hospital, I will call Jackson to come and get you and Harley." She then kissed his nose for comfort. She then picked Joker up and rushed him to the hospital. She turned herself back to herself instead of Alien Phantom and rushed inside, "Help! He needs help!"

The doctors saw it was Joker they were asking about so they took him to the emergency room. Soon Harley came with Jackson and Buggy. Jokers goons and Buggy's crew were taking care of The Joker and Arlong at this moment.

As soon as the nurses saw Harley they turned to Buggy sadly, "we're sorry, sir. But.....I'm afraid there's nothing can be done for her. It's too late. She's gone,"

Buggy teared up and shook his head "No. it's not....its not possible—"

They quickly covered her with a blanket and wheeled her away on a gurney. Buggy felt numb inside now. Like his insides had been scooped out and thrown away.

Meanwhile the crash team were working on Arthur as he still had a weak pulse, but after several attempts to revive him his heart monitor flatlined and the doctor shook his head.

"I'm sorry Mrs Fleck, your husband has sadly... passed away."

Sarah teared up. She then dropped to her hands and knees and broke down. She screamed out in agony and shook her head.

Hearing her screams momentarily pulled Buggy out of his shock. His brother...was Arthur okay? He raced down the hallway and saw Sarah on her hands and knees.

"What happened? Sarah where's Arthur? Is he....?" he gently helped her stand, "...please no, tell me he isn't...," he teared up.

She shook her head sobbing. "He's gone....he's gone!!!"

"...." Buggy began to cry silent tears as he wrapped his arms around Sarah tightly. He didn't feel strong at all right now but he had to be for her. Arthur would want that.

"I don't know why...I really don't know why he had to be taken away," She griped on Buggy tightly, "I miss already. I'm sorry about Harley. I'm so sorry."

She held him close and rubbed his back as well.
