They walked inside and went back to the party. They went outside and did the same thing they did before. Making small talk with random people and JJ doing his best to avoid Aaron. He believed that Kie never liked him but he could tell Aaron would be all over Kie the second he got the chance.

An hour later, the party ended and everyone started to leave. There were only a few guests left and Anna got everyone to help her clean up.

JJ went in the kitchen to help Anna and Kie went outside to help take down decorations.

Mike and Aaron's dad, josh, we're talking in one of the big empty lobby's that had a window looking outside.

"You know, I always thought Kiara and Aaron would end up together" josh said "they would have looked good together"

"Yea, I thought so too" Mike said, as they watched Kie taking down decorations.

"I hear she's with a kid from the cut?" Josh laughed "and how do you feel about that"

"Ah, well. He's a good kid" Mike said "and she's happy so that all that reall-"

"HA- I doubt that" josh laughed, cutting him off "everyone here knows that kid. He's nothing but trouble. He's probably stole from all of us at one point"

"Mm, well that I believe" Mike started "but I've watched him change. I'd trust that kid with anything now. he's not the little dirtbag he was before"

"Mm well, we'll see" josh laughed kook-like "just saying, I think you should try to convince your daughter otherwise. My son would make an excellent match for her."

"Right" Mike laughed awkwardly "I'm not too sure though. She's pretty stubborn"

"Just think about it Mike " josh started "how good would it look for business, as partners, if our children were engaged"

"I don't think it's gonna happen, josh" Mike said, patting him on the shoulder "I don't see them breaking up anytime soon"

"So you're picking a thief from the cut, over a nice, sophisticated young man with a good family and good morals?" Josh said, almost irritated

"I'm afraid it's not me who's picking" Mike joked.

The conversation ended, and Mike went back out to the kitchen with Anna. JJ had gotten told to check all the guest bedrooms upstairs for any glasses that may have been left.

Mike was wiping down the large counter when he saw Aaron looking out the window. He noticed he was watching Kie.

Aaron stayed there for a minute, before fixing his hair in the reflection of the window, and walking outside.

"Mm- JJs not gonna like that" Mike mumbled as he went over to the window to keep an eye on them.

"Kiara, hey there you are" Aaron said, walking up to her

"Hey" she smiled as she continued to clean up

"You know, I've been trying to hang out with you this entire night" Aaron said "I've missed you kiara"

"Awe, I missed you too Aaron" Kie smiled "Sorry we didn't hang out as much this time. I was busy"

"With JJ right" Aaron said

"Well- yea" Kie said, she stopped cleaning and faced him since he seemed like something was serious

"You know, a little heads up would have been nice" Aaron laughed, awkwardly

"What do you mean?" Kie asked with a soft voice

"No- it's just that.. you know, I was really excited to see you, tonight" Aaron said, passive aggressively "and then you just showed up with some random guy and all the sudden you have a boyfriend? I dunno it just caught be off guard is all"

"Well, yea Aaron" Kie said, oblivious "why does that even matter to you"

"I mean come on kiara. It's been expected for us to get together for years now, and as soon as we get to that age, you show up with him" Aaron said "and no- he's not just so random guy either, Kiara , he's JJ fucking maybank. Everyone here knows who he is- and that's not a good thing"

"Okay- Aaron. First of all, you and I were never getting together. Just because the, country club, thinks we'd make a cute couple- doesn't mean anything." Kie argues "and JJs great, you just don't know him. Stop listening to rumors"

"Kiara, there not rumors. He's a broke kid from the cut, with no money or any chance of getting into a good college, with a dad who's an alcoholic and a crook. I mean, I even heard that he beats him" he whispered like it was dirty

Kie slapped Aaron across the face.

"Don't ever talk about him or his dad again" Kie said, quietly but mad. She started walking away but Aaron grabbed her arm to make her stay

"Kiara, wait" he said, annoyed "don't go, come on"

"Let go of me!" she snatched her arm away and then kept walking back inside.

Upstairs, JJ went into a room, searching for any dishes that had been left behind.

He found the bottle of champagne on the dresser, and picked it up to see if any was left. There was about a sip or too left and JJ downed it.

He but the bottle down and heard a little chuckle coming from the bathroom

"Hard at work?" Molly said, leaning on the doorframe

"Uhh" JJ said nervously

"Don't worry" she laughed, walking deeper into the room "I saw nothing"

"Right" JJ laughed awkwardly "thanks"

"Your welcome" she said, moving onto the bed

"I'll just take these. Thank you" JJ said, grabbing the four champagne glasses from earlier and setting them in a small tub along with the other dishes he'd found.

"So Kiara huh?" Molly said, lightly "how'd you manage to pull a kook like her"

"No clue" JJ laughed, still a little uncomfortable with the way Molly was looking at him

"So tell me JJ" Molly said, getting off the bed and seductively walking over to him "what is it that you have?"

"Uhm- what do you mean" JJ asked nervously

"Why don't you tell me" she said getting closer.

JJ awkwardly cleared his throat

"It's not the money and it's not the reputation" she said softly "so what is It that you have"

"Well- um" JJ said, not knowing what to do or say

"Not too good with words now are we" she smirked, biting her lip "how about you just show me instead"

"Uhhhh" he said uncomfortably as she got closer..
