Jeffory's POV
"Come on Katelyn!" I say while I put her arm on my shoulder, and we walk towards Aphmau's car. "Thanks Jeffory.." Katelyn says tiredly as she puts her head on my shoulder. I chuckle, and I open the door to Aphmau's car. "Thanks for driving us Aphmau." I say while she smiles, and nods at me. I sit in the backseat with Katelyn, while Aphmau drives us back to campus. "Thanks Aph." Katelyn says as we all hop out of the car. We all walk back to the dorms, and the campus looked a little gray from the leftover smoke. "See ya later Katelyn." I say as both her and Aphmau walk back into their dorm. "See ya." Katelyn says as she shuts the door, and I walk back into my dorm. "Where have you been?" Travis asks immediately as I walk into the room. "The fire- Things happened." I say as I sit on my bed. "What things?." Travis asks suspiciously. "Katelyn ran into the fire, and you weren't there to save her." I say while he looks back down to his book, silent. I sprawl on my bed, and I think about the pictures in Katelyn's book.

Katelyn's POV
I groan while sitting on my bed, and Aphmau watches me carefully. "Are you okay?.." Aphmau asks as I lay down, partially shaking. "Nevermind.." I say while tears fall down my face. I turn away from Aphmau, and I look at the picture of me and my mom in a small picture frame. Aphmau walks closer to my bed, and she turns me over. "You're crying!" She says as she hugs me. I just let my tears fall on her head, and I accidentally drop the picture on the floor. "What is it?.." She asks in a comforting way. "..I want to talk about it... With Jeffory." I say while she nods. Aphmau goes across the hall, and knocks on the door. After a couple seconds, I see Jeffory walking closer to me. He embraces me in a hug, and Aphmau shuts the door, leaving us alone. "What is it?" He asks while looking down at me. "...My Mom died the same way I almost did...." I say while my tears fall to the ground. "But you didn't. Your Mom is looking over you right now, and when it's your time to go, you'll see her again." Jeffory says while wiping my tears away. I sniff, and lean my head on his chest. "You'll be okay, I'm here for you... Always." He says while looking down at me. I smile a little bit, and I look up at him. "There we go... That's the Katelyn I know." He says while smiling at me. He leans his face closer to mine, and he kisses me. I kiss back, but break it quickly, noticing he isn't wearing a shirt. He raises his eyebrows, and I playfully punch him. "Wait... What day is it?.." I ask while pulling out my phone. "September 3, why?.." Jeffory asks while I turn on my phone. "Crap!! I've gotten six calls from my dad!!" I yell while I grab my bags. "Did you want me to drive you to your house?.." Jeffory asks as I nod. "But you probably should get a shirt on." I tell him while he goes back to his dorm, and throws a shirt on. "Let's go." He says while grabbing my hand, and we walk towards the parking lot.

Jeffory's POV
We both hop in my car, and I drive her to her house. "You can come in." She says as I nod, and hop out. She knocks on the door, and her dad answers it quickly. "Katelyn!! I've been so worried about ya!!" Erik says as he hugs Katelyn. "Can I come in?.." Katelyn asks as her dad's face goes to happy to worried. "Uh.. Well Sugar Pea... The house is a mess!!" Erik says as he tries to cover up as much of the doorway as possible. Katelyn raises her eyebrows, and she makes her way in. "Sugar Pea!!" Erik says as I make my way into the house right behind her. I look inside, and Aphmau's mom is sitting on the couch with pop-corn. "Hey Katelyn! Jeffory!" Sylvanna says as Erik comes up behind us. "Wait... You guys are dating?!" Katelyn asks as Erik goes wide eyed. "Um- I heh.." Erik says as he scratches the back of his neck. "That's great!!" Katelyn says in joy as she literally just fan-girls right then and there. Erik lets out a relieving sigh, and I chuckle under my breath. "Oh Katelyn, why is Jeffory here?." Erik asks a he looks me straight in the eyes. "Oh.. He just needed to give me a ride here." Katelyn says a little bit nervously. "Oh... That's nice." Erik says as he moves his eyes from me to Katelyn. Erik goes wide eyes for a second, and Katelyn does the best she can do to cover up her burnt hands. "What happened to your hands Katelyn?!" Sylvanna asks, pretty much asking for Erik. "I- uh-.." Katelyn starts to say as I glance over at her. I let out a sigh, and I say "We had a fire at the campus, and in the fire was a book that belonged to Katelyn. Katelyn ran into the fire to get it, but she almost didn't succeed. She grabbed the book, but the fire surrounded her. I didn't want to watch the person I love die, so I saved her.."  Katelyn looked at me speechless, Erik looked at me with tears in his eyes, and Sylvanna dropped the pop-corn. I look at the ground, and Erik comes up to me, and hugs me. "..Thank you Jeffory.." Erik says as Katelyn smiles at me. He breaks the hug, and Katelyn runs up to me, and she kisses me. I kiss back, but release after a couple seconds. "Did you mean it?.." Katelyn asks while looking up at me. I nod, and she says "I love you too." I turn to look over at Erik and Sylvanna, and they both are crying in each other's arms. "We should go.." Katelyn mumbles to me as I nod. Katelyn says good-bye to her dad, and we both happily drive back to campus in my car. "You actually meant it.." Katelyn mumbles as I look at her. I smile, and park into the parking lot of the campus.

Jeffory: Nope, it's reality.

Aphmau: That escalated quickly. *Eats pop-corn*

Aaron: Wow. Aphmau, why isn't your Mom as nice as Katelyn's dad?..

Aphmau: Katelyn's dad is pretty much my dad... And my Mom is crazy. Plus, she hates you. 😊
