Chapter 1
'Of course the urge had to come during the coldest week of winter' I thought as I trudged through the snow with fresh warm blood on my face and sweater. I just got done from killing a couple in a park a couple of miles back. Dumb fucks thought I was lost. I laughed at the sweet memory of them going from confused to complete terror. I huffed and tried my best to wipe the blood away from my eyes, but of course it smeared. I sighed agitated and I looked around trying to find a place to wash this shit off. It's not easy trying to look for a water source in the middle of the night when it's winter. I looked to my right and I saw something reflecting the moons light. I smiled knowingly and walked over to the small pond I found and I kneeled down. I was lucky that the pond was somewhat thawed and so I took the icy cold water in my hands and splashed it onto my face. It felt good and refreshing. I sighed and watched as the mist dissipated in the air. Has to be at least 10 degrees out. It'll get lower through the night while i'm in my spree. I grunted and got back up.
It's been 6 years since I started killing people. Fuckers caught me here and there, went to too many different asylums. Of course, I broke out of them, I always do. It's really not that hard. Hell, sometimes i'll stay for a little bit so that I can have some food and shelter. But, of course, it gets boring easily and the urge always comes back. I turned to my right and I trudged through the snow again trying to find the closest town again. I remember from my mental map that there was a small town not too far from the park I just went to.
Just thinking about their screams and the way their flesh rip apart under my knife and their bones cracking into a delicious form when I break them every which way; got me excited.
I grinned making my scarred smile grow larger, I picked up my pace when I noticed that I wasn't too far from the town by now. It looked like I was right as I was getting closer to the forest barrier and I seen a small house that was at the end of a dead-end road. I stalked over to the house and I tried my best to look in the windows. From what I could see; only one person lived there. This'll be easy for me. I can see their shadow through the windows as they walked around the house. I wonder what they're doing at this time of night. I shrugged and moved away from the window. I looked to see if they had a backyard and I grinned when I seen a wooden fence attached to the back of the house.
I have done this plenty of time before as I quietly made my way around their house. I stalked my way over to the closest window and I seen that the window didn't have shades this time. I took advantage of this and I tried to look for the person again. I guess I was lucky today as I was right about the one person thing. Actually, one woman thing. I followed her shadow through the windows that had shades on them. When she went up the stairs after double checking her locks and turning off the lights I quickly looked around her backyard and a very convenient tree was right next to her window. I grinned again and I used my knife as a pick so I could climb the tree. I did this while I still watched the girls movements. I noted that she was turning all of the lights off in each room they entered up stairs. Easier for me.
I waited in the branches of the large tree. The twigs not bothering me even a bit. I was used to this by now, well, you have to be if you want to do something right. I waited for about 10 minutes after she turned her bedroom lights off and I made my move. I swiftly crawled my way over to the bathroom window and I checked if it was unlocked.
It wasn't.
I rolled my eyes and I grabbed my knife again. I used it so I could mess with the hinges of the window. Once the window was loose enough for me to remove it, I did, but quietly of course. The window wasn't heavy (surprisingly) for how big and thick the glass was. I set it down next the bathtub and I looked over to the now gaping hole of the bathroom. I shrugged and walked over to the door. It looked like it was made from dark oak and it had a fake gold handle on it. I turned it carefully trying to make sure it didn't squeak. I held onto the nob as I opened the door. The door didn't squeak to my pleasure and so I gently and slowly let go of the nob. I sighed as I got that part done and I looked around her hall.
Now to find the girl.
I made my way around her hallway as I opened every door I came across to. I was getting irritated as I couldn't find her bedroom right away, but once I did, I got giddy again. I slowly walked into her bedroom as I opened the door, I closed it as well so that it wouldn't be easy for her to escape. Once I was done with that I shot my head to the left to see that she was sound asleep. My eyes widened as I smiled even larger and I got giddy for every second that pass by.
Oh this'll be fun. I walked slowly to the girls bedside and seen that her blanket didn't cover her face. I had a nice view of the girls face, (s/c) skin, (h/c) (h/l) hair. She seemed like a nice girl. I shrugged and took my knife out. I watched as it glinted from the moons light. I looked over to her again and I seen her frown in her sleep.
I wonder what she's dreaming? I shook my head and scowled. I shouldn't be thinking of that. I readied my knife and "accidently" kicked her bed. of course I have to wake her up so that I could use my famous catch phrase. I seen her jerk and wake up. She instantly seen me and her eyes widen.
"Go to sleep." I said and chucked my knife down, but before it could enter any flesh she kicked at my side and I fell to the ground in pain and schock. I watched as she quickly got out of bed and tried to run to her closed door. I chuckled and shook the pain off. They were always so slow in opening the door.
I sprinted towards her and grabbed her in a choke lock. She tried her hardest to get out of my hold but I only laughed.
"Ain't gonna work hun." I said and threw her against the wall. I can tell she hit pretty hard when she fell to the ground and held her head. I kneeled down and grabbed her by the hair.
"I don't think I ever met anyone stupid enough to fight me. Or to fight back. You're...interesting. I think I'll keep you." Her eyes widened in fear and I laughed hysterically. I then grabbed my knife and stood up.
"Go to sleep" I said and swiftly knocked the butt of my knife into her temple. She fell instantly and I smiled at my hard work.
Now then, to bring her home.
