I run silently to the golden doors, where they had been left open. He's expecting you there. A voice says. I look around to where it could've come from, and hold back from shouting out when I realized it came from my head. Ok. I don't know who you are, but this is creepy. I think to whoever was inside my head. The person didn't reply. I cannot tell you my name until we're in the same room, telling you in person. 
I run to the door, and slam it open. Heads turn to look at me, and the first person I saw was Ali, strapped to a chair that was nailed to the floor. "What do you want?" I ask.
He smiles, gripping the armrest of his throne. "You, my daughter, and I will fight. To the death." he says, so smoothly it was almost as if he practiced this moment in the mirror. He snaps, and one of the guards hands me my sword.
"I dropped it on Triste." I say, gripping the handle.
"I ordered my soldiers to retrieve it, so it would be a fair fight." he explains.
"Hm. It's rare you would do anything nice, speaking of the fact you killed your own daughter." I say, and he smiles.
"You see, she was already dead."

"She didn't die." I say.

The bullet that was supposed to kill Charlotte. I sat next to her, playing on that day. It was a beautiful day, at that. She raised her hand up to the bright shining sun.
"Hey, sis, isn't today pretty?" she asks, and that's when the bullet fired. It ripped the seam of her shirt, but it didn't reach her heart. The fumes of the Unknown made her go unconcious. I watch, as we were raised from Earth to the Unknown, and I passed out myself. The next thing I know, I was falling down a hole, into a dark abyss of nothing. That's when I went into what I call the dream, with Noah, and my cruddy, normal life.

"Even so, she was a large, and dangerous threat. To the New Beginning, you, me, everyone." he says.
"Can we fight now? I'm itching to bash your face in." I say, turning my sword around in my hand a few times.
"Sure. And since I'm a good person, I'll even let you have first attack." he says, standing from his chair.
I bite my lip, and strategize quickly. Like a hummingbird, I glide side to side, to dizzy his view. I run up, and thrash at his shoulder.
"Verdo." he whispers, and my attack doesn't affect him. Instead, my shoulder starts to gush blood from nowhere. I yell out in pain, and drop to my knees. My sword skids a few feet away, and he walks toward me, unsheathing his own sword. 
"See, Jemma, you're powerless without your Unknown side. I wish I would've found that old apartment owner sooner, or otherwise you wouldn't be here. That jerk, creating a world more powerful than my own. I would've had him killed a long time ago if I hadn't been distracted by your arrival." he says.
"I-I want to go back to Earth." I say, coughing up blood.
"Oh, didn't you hear? Well, Earth's time started back up. And it's time zone goes much faster than ours, you see. The Earth dimension has come to it's end. Oh, and by the way," he says, holding his sword above my head, "Your mother, she took her own life, as well. Two weeks after you two were declared dead, she killed herself. Quite tragic, if you ask me. But I guess suicide just runs in the family." he says, raising his sword. I felt dizzy for a moment and-

I saw a vision, of mom, Charlotte, and I, crying in a church. We were dressed in all black, and mom had her hair tied into a neat little braid. Her hair was always thin, and Charlotte shared that trait. This was after dad's passing, I assume.
The second vision I saw was Charlotte splashing a potion on us, and we teleported away from the explosion. This time, I saw her face, and she looked peaceful. She had on a small, sad smile, and she closed her eyes.
The third vision I saw was of mom alone, sitting in that little church where we had dad's funeral. A man in a grey suit was talking to her, and he held up a briefcase. Inside were papers labeled "Child Care Protection Unicy". Mom had on a blank expression, and the only emotion that was seen through it was a small tear, sliding down her cheek.

I reach for my sword, and the king kicks it away. 
"How does it feel, Jemma? To be powerless? No matter how much you try, you can't do anything to help yourself. Does it feel bad? Frustrating?" he says, starting to lower his sword to my neck.
My sword flies across the room, and pierces him in the hand. He screams, and looks over at where it came from. Ali pants, struggling to even stand. sweat drips off her forehead, and soaks the cloth tied tightly around her eyes. The king pulls the sword out with a scream, and lifts it above my head. I wince, but nothing happens. I look up, and Ali stands in front of me. My dad cuts right into her chest, and she falls to the floor. 
"Ali? Ali!" I scream, tears rushing down my cheeks.
"J-Jemma. Stay strong. Get out of here, go to Ela-" she says, before running out of breath. I look into the king- my father's eyes, and pick up my sword. I stare into his bland eyes, and for a split second, I was afraid. Tears streaming down my face, I aim at his throat, and throw my sword.
"Verdo." he quickly yells. The sword cuts through him, and the second before blood starts bursting out, he gives me a look of pure fear. He falls to the ground, and his blood stars to stain to white carpet.
The door behind me opens, and TLo runs in, holding the vial. "I'm here. Sorry, it took awhile, guards started attacking one by one- what happened?" he asks.
"Ali's dead." I say, sniffling. He looks side, but that look quickly filled with fear.
"I'm sorry to hear that, but we have to get going. A guard knocked over a shelf of potions, and mixed potions mean toxin. We need to leave now." he says, and I nod, starting to wipe tears.
Venus and Carl sat outside, feeding on some sheep. I throw the vial onto the ground , and it smashes to pieces. The two wyverns take off, just in time to miss the explosion. I turn to see the bits of rubble left fall into the abyss, and I let out a sigh.
"What's going to happen now, chief?" he asks.
"We-we're going back to Jaylemm, I guess." I say, before falling asleep in the fold of Venus's wing.
