Chapter 11

The forbidden room was dark, and the only light provided was a dim window, that was covered in moss. I could hear a faint breathing sound, And then there was a red light. It took me awhile to realize, but I realized it was coming from my eyes. Before I could react, alarms start going off.
I turn around, and the door shuts automatically. I walk towards it, putting my grip around the handle. I tug at it, but it wouldn't budge. I try pushing, and then doing the same with the other door. They both wouldn't open. My heart starts racing in panic, and I look back into the darkness. I start to feel around the walls, looking for a lightswitch.
After realizing there was no lightswitch, I try to rely on the dim red light coming from my eyes. I walk around the perimeter, continuing to feel my way through the wall. The only sound I could hear was that from my own breathing.
My heart starts to pound, as I look at the faint light showing through the window. I could tell this was a completely empty room. I walk further, and bump into something hard. I look down and see a table. It rocks back and forth, before falling over. The sound of something sliding across the floor fills the room, and I look over to it. There was a red and gold-covered book laying on the floor.
I slowly pick it up, keeping cautious of my surroundings. I walk over to the window, so I could see it's content. I finger through the blank pages, looking for a sign of writing. I get to the last page, almost giving up hope. I turn around, shading the book from the window's light, and look down once more. The red light flashing from my eyes shines down, and the words appear. It was a small phrase, but it meant a lot, for some reason.
What Will You Do To Save Yourself From Fate?
I look down at those words, frowning upon them. I close the book, setting it gently on the floor. Suddenly, the room fills with light, and I am able to see everything. It seemed to be a library, with floors and floors of books. I look straight up, seeing a chandelier, hanging with gently carved crystals molded to show delicacy.
I lift one foot slightly off the floor, and I felt myself raise from the ground. I spun around and around, until I was at the top. I turn around, watching vines disappear as I step off.
The aroma was terrible, with the mix of blood and dust.
I heard the faint sound of talking, so I started walking toward the direction in which it came from. The old books were definitely what smelled of dust, and I try to keep myself from sneezing.
"Dyed Sky. Two members hacked, one member illegal." it says. I start to run, trying to make my shoes make the least amount of noise as possible.
I come into a clearing, and I back up behind the shelf. There was a man, dressed in the same outfit that Char always wore. He had a variety of knifes set on the table, and he was holding the sharpest of them in his hand.

Laye and Elle, who were chained to the wall, look at the ground. A puddle of blood lays at their feet, and I could feel anger bubbling at mine. I snap the chains, and they fall to the floor. Laye lands on her knees, while Elle lands on her feet. The man throws his knife towards Elle, and she ducks in time for it to slam into the wall, where her head was. She turns around, looking at the huge chunk of hair that was chopped off. Laye quickly stands up, taking the knife out of the wall, and she cuts the rest off, so elle's hair was down to her hips.
"How did you two get out?" the man yells in disbelief.
Laye flips her hair over her shoulder and smiles, "There's two things you don't do, sir. One, don't ever think you can chain us up, and two, don't ever call Jemma illegal." she says, as I come into view.
"Oh, and you scare me so much." the man says, looking at me.
I sprout a small flower from the tile floor. He laughs obnoxiously.
"Wow," he says, clapping his hands, "So terrifying. I almost was too scared to think!"
I sprout a long vine from the ground, the end a blade. His laugh turns into a chuckle, and then it was gone. I move it closer to him, and his eyes widen.
"Okay, hold it, this isn't funny, little girl." he says, holding his hands up.
I smile, "What will I do to save myself from fate?" I ask myself, before slicing through his chest.
I turn around, looking around for anyone else that was on standby for backup. It didn't look like there was anyone, so I jumped down the center of the staircase. Guns start to fire, and I make it to the bottom floor, a bed of moss slowing my fall. I signal them down, and Laye and Elle jump down.
As soon as they made it, a screen appeared on the wall. Char's face came up, and a video message played.
"Hello, girls. I can presume you're quiet confused on where you are. Well, you're in trouble. Jemma, especially. You three have found yourselves in the forbidden room. As the name states, no one is allowed in this room. It has been left for decades, only used for investigators to question suspects. The reason of it's forbiddenness, you ask? The creators, us, decided there needed to be a way to protect this game." she pauses, and bursts into laughter, "Well, as you might realize already, this isn't a game. It is a peaceful world, that has been left for the nicest of people since the creation of Earth. Well, the universe, as I should say. Well, for the sake of peacefulness, we cut all ties with other humans. Until a secret file was emailed to Earth. Luckily, they ignored it, but the emailed created a virus in our world. It created the Unknown, and that is where Jemma came from. We don't know how she got here, but when we scanned the planet for her existence, it wasn't there."
Time stops again, and I turn around to see the small girl sitting in a fancy chair.
"Foolish woman. I presume she expects to kill you off, since you cannot open the doors. But, she doesn't know that it isn't possible. She is giving away all dangerous information, but for what gain?" the girl says, resting her head in her fist.
"I think it's about time to tell me what's going on." I say.
"Well, Jemma, she's about to tell you. Such a stupid lady." she says.
"Who are you? Can you tell me yet?" I ask.
"I'm afraid not. But, It will happen soon, so be patient." she says, looking older than her real age.
Time resumes, and Char continues talking.
"Jemma, to conclude this, you're not human, nor Jaylemnian. So, the government has played this silly game of yours, to pretend this was just a game." she pauses again, before continuing.
"Are you ready, you three?" Char says, tapping a pen on her desk.
"For what?" I accidentally ask, though she can't hear.
"It's time for your real test." she says, and guns from all directions start to fire all over again.
