hey guys it's me obvi

anyways i'm feeling much better than i was a few days ago, as i've been hanging out with my group of friends and they are huge stress relievers.

however im asking you guys for some advice here with a situation i'm in. lemme explain.

my best friend, let's call her Marie (idk), has been seeming to be getting on my nerves a lot recently. usually we get along really well, hence the "best friend" part. we've been really close for two years and now i'm sudddnly being hit with a wave of annoyance.

maybe i'm just waking up more to her personality? i'm not sure.

anyway, Marie is very particular and always keeps herself busy with sports and schoolwork. sometimes we would be taking and she'd say something that aggravates me a tiny bit so id usually say back a "harsher" kind of sarcastic comment and she'd throw one right back at me. we are seeming to do this a lot more often which makes me avoid talking to her during bell one.

whenever i'm like "hey wanna help me with this/ hey wanna do this with me" every time she says she has to study or do schoolwork or something. i get that school is important, but it's all the time guys. it's like i'm not even a priority anymore.

also, Marie doesn't take any risks or chances or anything. i love playing the game "what are the odds" with people and whenever i do it with Marie, she never does it. she insists with a whiny voice that it's a stupid dare.

for example, i was at target with my friends and Marie, and i asked her what are the odds of her to try on a coat that was just chillin on a hanger. and she was all like "no! that's stupid" and i was like it's just a coat but okay.

maybe i just provoke her?? i dont know but it seemed harmless to me.

and just today in our friend group chat we were planning a nerf war, and half way through planning we realized we didn't have enough guns. so Marie goes, "well nerf wars are boring anyways."

so, naturally, my guy friend responds with a "you're boring" as a joke, and i basically say that Marie hates fun in a playful way.

and after that, she said fuck you to us and left the motherfucking group chat.

and what does she do after that? she fucking hangs out with (let's call her) Laura.

now the thing about Laura is that she got salty at me for telling her not to post a page of the yearbook (for yearbook class) on social media (because it was actually was not allowed) and she took it to the heart and legit talked shit about me all day and made a post about me on her fucking finstagram. hasn't talked to me since.

so Marie fucking goes to hang out with Laura like besties and it drives me insane because Marie is my best friend and she's having out with this motherfucker that really hurt my fucking feelings.

so, i'm pissed.

and Laura wants to follow me on instagram again and idk what to do.

guys i don't know how to handle this. i'm so sick of Marie's shit and all of this. i honestly just never want the time i spend with my other friends to end because i forget about everything else that matters.
