I ran through the forest with Yang and Blake until we eventually reached the coast to see the others near a mech that had it's arm stuck

Yang: Ruby!

They turned to see us as Ruby ran over

Ruby: Yang, Blake, Y/N! Are you okay- woah, why does Y/N have a tail?!

We stopped as i looked on at the Mech in shock, they took this down? This makes what we did look like childs play.

Me: I'll explain later

Blake: What happened?

A loud roar was heard in the distance making us turn our head towards it

Yang: Was that a giant Grimm?

Weiss: Yes... and we just ruined the only thing capable of stopping it

We climbed into the airship which was slightly damaged and took off as Cordovin blamed us for all this

I sat next to Blake as she helped me stay up right, she placed a hand on my chest and touched the wound Adam left me making me wince in pain.

Blake: I'm so sorry

Me: Don't be... i wanted to do this

Blake: But-

Ruby: You're safe. That's all we care about

Me: Yeah

Ruby crouched down and grabbed Blake's free hand, she sniffled and leaned closer before hugging Ruby making me smile

Maria: I suppose i have to be the bad guy and say it

Ruby let go of Blake before i coughed violently making Blake jump to attention and place her hands in my shoulders.

Maria: Getting the lamp to Atlas is still our main priority and right now we have the perfect opportunity to head straight for it, we may not get another chance like this

Yang: No way

Weiss: We can't leave not like this

Blake: It's like you said "A huntress is supposed to protect others until the bitter end"

Me: I may be battered and bruised but...

I got up and held onto the support bars above me with one arm as they looked at me worried

Me: I've still got some fight in me

Ruby shrugged making Maria look ahead of her

Ruby: We head to the Leviathan. Y/N, can you and Ren be ready to mask our ship?

I looked to Ren and he looked to me before we both nodded

Ren: I think we can manage

Me: Got any bright ideas?

Ruby: I've got one

Qrow: Eyes up everybody, it's back.

The Leviathan Grimm emerged from.the water and roared, hard light shields emerged from the water before the Grimm walked into it.

It backed off and breathed fire! It trailed along to the side and hit something making the shields go down

Oscar: It... tore straight through...

Radio: All squadrens fall back to evacuation procedures, disengage Leviathan, i repeat disengage! Over

Ruby: No! Wait!

She rushed to the front making us let out a chorus of confused sounds, she grabbed the radio amd talked

Ruby: We can stop it!

Radio: Who is this? Identify yourself

Ruby: I'm a huntress, my team and i are heading to the Leviathan and can weaken it for you to attack

Me: We can?

She turned back to me as her eyes reflected mine

Ruby: We can

Maria: Ruby i know i said trial by fire-

Ruby: I did it at Beacon and Y/N did it at the farm

Weiss: You really think you two can do it now?

Ruby: We don't have a choice

The radio clicked making us look to it

Radio: Mansa 5-1, youe ship is currently marked as hostile. You'll receive no assistance, Over.

Ruby: Fine we'll do it alone if we have to.

It clicked making me let out a sigh, i put my fingers in a sign and made a clone as my remaining aura halved

Ruby: We can stop it before it hits the next barrier, Ren you're up

Me: You heard the lady, mask the ship

Y/N 2: You got it boss

He placed his hand on Ren's shoulder as his aura amplified. Placing his hand on the ship it turned grey as Ruby and i readied ourselves.

The ship swerved through Grimm amd other ships as it rocked back and forth. Ruby let out a breath as we got close while i gritted my fists.

We got too close as the Grimm drew back it's head while flames built up in it's mouth

Qrow: It's too late! Pull up!

Maria pulled away as we traced along the side of the Grimm, the same happened as before and.the shields were destroyed.

My clone poofed out of existence as Ren fell to the ground exhausted while Blake looked out the window

Rem: That's all i've got

Blake: It's on the move again, we've got to stop it!

Yang: What do we do?!

Me: I've got an idea

I held up a shaky hand as they turned to me, the doors opened as i focused and steeled my nerves.

Me: Weiss can use a summon to bring Ruby over to she can use her silver eyes... and i can distract it

Blake: Y/N no! You're still really hurt!

I turned back to her and smiled as she looked frightened and infuriated

Me: Love you Blake

Blake: Y/N!

I transformed into a Super Saiyan before flying out the airship, she called out to me but i ignored her as i wemt towards the Grimm.

Forming ki blasts in my hands, i fired at it making it look towards me. It growled as i stared it down while my gold aura increased in size

Me: Let's see what all the fuss is about you over grown lizard!

I yelled as i felt myself get stronger, my energy charged up as lightning crackled around me.

I charged at it and kicked beside it's head making it throw it's head to the side, the Grimm turned back to me and breathed fire at me as i flew up.

Swirling around the flames i flee close to it's stomach before i fired some ki blasts into it.

The Grimm roared and swatted me away, i yelled in pain as i flew back but saw Ruby on one of Weiss' summons so i caught myself.

She stopped infront of it and threw something before standing still, the Grimm seemed to fixate on her as nothing happened.

The... The relic! The Grimm opened it's mouth as my anger grew even further. I felt something change within me as i felt massively stronger

I launched myself at them as i drew back my fist while my aura started to spread wildly

Me: STAY AWAY FROM HER!

Suddenly a large sliver flash went out making me stop and cover my eyes, wgen i moved them i saw that the Grimm had beem petrified.

I flew over to Ruby and Weiss' summon as sbe looked to me in shock

Ruby: Y/N your hair!

Me: What?

I felt myself run out of energy as i dropped out of super saiyan and flew into the summon.

People cheered as she looked on happily, a faint smile traced my lips as my fatigue approached

However the stone began to crack as we looked to it, i got up and pushed Ruby behind me even though i couldn't fight much more

Ruby: No...

?: I'll take it from here!

Even more suprisingly Cordovin came running as a drill came out from her remaining arm

Cordovin: After all, i was sworn to protect the people!

Me: Is that from Gurren-

The Mech seemed to pose before the drill spun while she launched herself towarfd the Grimm

She shoved the drill into Grimm as it screeched in pain, the Grimm crumbled and fell into the ocean as i fell to my knees.

Ruby crouched down and tried to help me up as Cordovin stopped infront of us as the entrance to it opened.

Ruby: Thank you... and i'm sorry

Cordovin: The Atlas military can handle the stranded

Ruby: What... what are you saying?

Cordovin: I'm saying i don't think anyone would notice one more missing airship in my lengthy report... and you, the one who tried to take on the Leviathan single handedly, are you their friend?

Me: Yeah...

Cordovin: You keep quite troublesome company girl

Ruby: I know

The entrance to the mech before it ran off, Ruby was smiling but i looked to her offended

Me: You agreed with her? Me, i'm troublesome to you?

Ruby: We all are

Me: Good grief

Timeskip

I sat next to Blake as she scolded and slapped me around the back of the head

Me: Ow!

Blake: How could you do that!? You nearly got yourself killed!

Me: But i didn't-

Blake: Do you know how worried i was!? I can't handle much more of that!

I looked to her and saw the tears in her eyes, i sighed and hung my head in shame before she hugged me tightly.

Blake: Please. Never do that again...

Me: Okay... you're kind of hurting me

Blake: You owe me this

I settled and hugged Blake closer to me... i should stop agreeing to things i can't promise

Ruby: Thanks Ms Calavera

Qrow: Hey Ruby, you do great out there today kid. Just don't go giving me heart attacks like that again

He went to drink from his flask but stopped and put it down, she quickly hugged him which obviously suprised him

Ruby:I love you too

Ruby stepped away and looked at us as Blake let go of me and rested her head on my shoulder as she held my hand

Maria: You weren't half bad today yourself Qrow

Qrow:...*Sigh* I feel like they did all the heavy lifting

Maria: But you were there to help when they asked for it, and you were there to catch them when they fell... literally if i recall

Qrow: Thanks... y'know it was pretty incredible to see the Grimm Reaper in action

Maria: Heh, you should have seen me when i was your age

We sat in silence for abit as the only sounds i could hear was Blake's light breathing and the ships quiet motors.

Weiss: I'm sorry you had to go through that nightmare but i'm glad Y/N and Yang were there for you

Yang: We were all there for eachother

Me: Speaking of it, i'm proud of you Yang. You were able to protect Blake from Adam

Yang: You did most of it, especially with that weird transformation you had

Nora: That was pretty cool!

I looked away bashfully and scratched my cheek however Blake lifted her head off my shoulder

Blake:... Don't use that again

Me: Why?

Blake: You... you don't look like Y/N to me... your eyes and everything was just so differnet. I didn't see you when you did it, i just saw someone driven by rage

Is that what i really looked like...? Can i go without using it?

Me... Okay

Ren: Speaking of cool things Ruby petrified a Leviathan, after diving down the barrel of a cannon!

I looked to her in shock as she nervously chuckled and tried to draw the attention away from her.

Ruby: Ahh, don't act like you all haven't done crazy stuff before. I-I mean Oscar made a successful crash landing!

She dramatically posed before looking back and forth between us, Ruby jumped and gestured to Oscar making me chuckle.

Ruby: He's a fourteen year old farm boy!

Me: I wish i could have seen it happen

Blake: We'd have been stranded without you

Oscar: I... thanks but, i've been meaning to tell you guys. I didn't land the ship on my own...

We looked to him confused before realising what he ment

Nora: Ozpin took control?

Oscar: No he guided me... and then he was gone again disappeared

Yang: Does that mean he's been watching us this whole time?

Oscar: I dunno but... it at least means he's looking out for us

Ruby looked at Oscar suspiciously before someone drew our attention

Qrow: Hey, if you've never seen Atlas in person before. You don't wanna miss this

Blake helped me up as we all looked out the front to see Atlas... Floating!? Atlas is a floating city!?

Ruby: Is it weird that i'm sort of nervous?

Yang: No. I'll believe we've made it to Atlas when we see it

Weiss: Well... believe it

Maria: You know, you make the trip up to Atlas over and over but you never get used to that view. Oh come on!

Her eyes spirled at she hit the side of it, Weiss stepped up and looked worried

Me: What's wrong?

Glancing up i saw Atlas Airships hovering above the city

Weiss: The Atlas airfleet... i knew all of our ships were called back but...

Qrow: They're set up like they're expecting an attack

The radio crackled so we looked on it in confusion

Radio: Mansa 5-1... welcome home
