Getting Somewhere
Third Person POV
Finding Vick shouldn't be a problem! There's only so many places he can hide! Jay thought, starting his truck. "Race ya" Kai suggested.
"You're on!" Jay stated.
"This isn't a race," Nya remarked.
"We are simply trying to find Vick and stop him. Not have a competition to see who can find him first," Sensei added. Jay groaned.
"Okay...." He responded, closing the door. The truck took off and Jay turned on the radio. "If I were a destructive crazy person trying to take over Ninjago, where would I go?" Jay asked himself. "Well, I'd probably stay somewhere within the city."
The truck turned left onto an empty street. That's odd, Jay thought, This streets one of the most busiest streets in Ninjago City. Why is it so quiet? Jay parked the truck and got out. Most of the shops and buildings were closed. Something wasn't right and he was going to figure it out. Jay walked up to an office building he knew fairly well. He peered in through the windows. Nobody was in the office, which was odd considering it was a Tuesday.
He took out his phone and called the others. "Hey guys, I think I've found something..."
"Define something..." Cole stated.
"How about that it's Tuesday and there's nobody at an office building..."
"Be right there."

Vick chuckled having turned the last hostage onto his side. "That's better!" He exclaimed. He turned to his minions. "Go. Find me more people! I'm going to need an army!" He commanded. The minions quickly left the hunting shop.
Vick's plan was escalating at a steady pace. If this continued, he would finally be able to fix the balance. "They better not take too long," Vick complained. He sat down behind the counter. Everything was going his way. As long as he didn't have any more minor setbacks. The world was his for the fixing. The sound of a vehicle filled Vick's ears. Probably just a car passing through, He thought. The sound of the vehicle died and Vick began to grow concerned. "Who in their right mind would stop here?" He whispered.
Vick slowly made his way to the door and peeked out through the window. It was one of the ninja. Vick growled. He was so close to getting what he wanted. There was no way he was going to let one ninja ruin his plan. He looked to his staff, which had begun to shake. Vick then turned his attention to the guns hanging on the walls. Good Idea..

Kai observed the quiet street. This wasn't the first street that was quiet. Jay had reported an entire office building being empty. The question on Kai's mind was why? Why are the streets this quiet? He thought. He heard a tiny bell ring and turned around. Several guns floated out of the door followed by Vick. Kai took a stance now getting a good look at Vick's staff. An orange gem floated at the top of the staff surrounded by red rods that swirled around the gem. The rod that the gem floated above was a metallic silver and came to a point at the bottom. "What's wrong?" Vick beamed, "Don't like your odds?" Kai lite his hands on fire, ready for a fight.
The guns began to fire simultaneously. Kai pushed his hands forward, causing fire to spew from them. The bullets melted but Vick kept firing the guns. Kai slowly made his way towards an alley. The fire was still spewing from his hands, but he had managed to pick up a garbage lid. He made his way back to the street. Eventually Vick would run out of ammo, right? Unless, he gets ammo from the building he came out of, Kai thought. He slowly began to get closer to Vick trying to destroy the guns. He hit one and it exploded. Kai began to repeat the pattern of destroying the weapons.
Eventually, he destroyed the last one. Vick groaned, "Well, you're no fun!" Kai threw the garbage lid at Vick, who ducked dodging the attack. Kai took off for his motorcycle. Vick pointed his staff at hit and it exploded. Kai ran through the smoke and left the street. He needed to tell the others...
