Interview

2020 A/N: Unedited. Buckle up for all the cringe.

2015 A/N: So since we, the Is He A She?! family, have been growing with abnormal speed, I wanted to do something to thank this huge happy family. C'mon group hug *hugs*

Since I don't have any ideas for bonus chapters (suggest me an idea, yeah?), I decided to do a little interview thingy with Uthra, Rohan and the guys as a form of gratitude (if it sucks, you gotta forgive me, okay? I tried *holds universal peace sign*).

And people, Is He A She?! is at freaking #3 under Humor! (Yep, the rank. What's hot list. Yessss >.<)

So here's it.

Enjoy! (Haha hope you would xP).

Interviewer: A very good day to everyone!

*cue a measured model's smile*

Today, we're here with the Is He A She?! crew and of course, the creator is here too!

Kai: Yep, that's me *waves* Be quick with it. My bed is looking at me with those seductive eyes and whispering 'come, come.' So yeah, quick babe (2020 A/N: Kai, stop being so embarrassing).

—> Interviewer: *smiles awkwardly* Uh... okay. So the first question is to our protagonist.
Even if your family was at line and you had no other choice, don't you think that it was a little too rash on your part to actually go to an all boys school?

Uthra: *straightens on the couch* I wouldn't say there was no other choice. Vimal uncle was more than willing to help us but there's this thing called Pride and that thing didn't let us to turn into freeloaders. So the other choice? I ended up dressing as a guy. But yeah, I really don't regret it  *shoots a cheeky grin at Rohan*

Kai: Don't look at him with that look in front of me. It still grosses me out how even you are capable of romance *shudders*

Karan: Preach it, sister! *puts a hand on Kai's shoulders and ends up getting swatted off*

Kai: Still, Uthra's answer is half the truth people. The story has to exist so she was forced by me to dress as a guy.

—> Interviewer: *coughs* Well moving on. This question is to our male lead!
So Rohan, tell me, how did it feel when you were informed that you'd be getting a roommate?

Rohan: I was surprised. I mean, I don't know why but though I always wanted to make up friends, I never tried to make any because something held me up. So when I was informed that someone is going to be my roommate, though it was the decision of the management, I was surprised... and maybe a little startled? Having a roommate would mean I've to interact with him and even be friends with him if we wanted to coexist in the same room without disturbances.

Kai: Kiddo, stop being a cinnamon roll.

—> Interviewer: Um, good to know that. This one is for all the boys.

Did anyone of you develop romantic feelings towards Uthra?

Rohan: *spurts out the Hill Mist drink he was drinking* I never contemplated that! Did any of you guys really fancy her?

Karan: Dude, I'm not gay. To me, he'll— or she'll, always be my wimpy junior whom I always like to pick on. Nothing much.

Uthra: Did you just call me wimpy?

Hrithik: Well, to me Uthra was like fresh breath since it was getting mundane living together with these faces for so many years. But when I came to know her secret, I surprisingly started caring for her. She— DUDE, WHAT THE HECK?! *glares at Rohan* Did you just kick me?

Rohan: Did I? I thought it was the table's leg.

Hrithik: Cousin, we're sitting on couches with no tables in front...

Interviewer: Guys, time is ticking. So what is Uthra to you?

Hrithik: A sister. So you can stop being the jealous boyfriend— or husband, whatever.

Ryan: Haha not at all. She isn't my type, like at all.

Rohit: She is my best friend. To her, Rohan was her center of attention. But to me, she was my center of attention. And no, no hidden crush here. Do you know the feeling you get when you're just with your friend? This overwhelming sense of friendship? I don't know why, but I've always felt that to her from the start. And the answer to your question, no, I don't like her like that *smiles*

Kai: *in the background melts and writes it down for future reference* Do you feel anything overwhelming for me?

Everyone: ?

—> Interviewer: *laughs* So that was kinda intense. Now to our Rohan, how or to be precise, when did you fall in love with her?

Rohan: Seriously?

Interviewer: Seriously.

Uthra: Yeah, seriously. I've been wondering that too.

Rohan: *laughs awkwardly* I don't really know. It was way before I came to know Uthra's secret. And no, I wasn't gay because I even tried to see if I'm attracted to the other guys but found that I just liked spending time with her. When she confessed her secret, I was strangely relieved. I guess that's when I started to doubt my feelings for her. I know it was unethical for me to be around her with those confusing feelings. That's why I ditched her for those following days. *turns to Uthra looking gloomy* Sorry, buddy.

Uthra: *smiles* I know, bud. I know.

Kai, Rohit, Ryan, Hrithik, Interviewer and the crowd: Awww

Karan: *pukes*

—> Interviewer: This is for the author-san. Will there be a sequel?

Kai: *looks up with a half stuffed face and crumbs on cheeks* Oh to me? Sorry I was in my mini snacks period. I need food every one hour in my system if you don't want me to turn into a zombie. Kidding. *laughs loudly but slowly fades into silence when no one looks amused* I wasn't funny enough? Alrighty. I'll take that blow.

For your question, no love, there won't be any sequels (2020 A/N: Actually jokes on you witch. You wrote a spin off). But I'd love to write bonus chapters if people are wishing to read it. Sequel needs lots of work, dedication and more importantly, plot. Bonuses just need an idea. Yep, lazy old hag here *bows*

Rohan: You're really weird. I can't believe how we even became friends.

Kai: Uh, when I was falling on each of you guys' feet asking permission to use your story for my book? Shh, that's our secret, buddy.

Rohan: But you just said that in front of everyone.

Kai: Oh did I? Silly me *shrugs and starts with the food stuff again*

Everyone: ???

—> Interviewer: *tries to hide the bewildered expression behind a smile* Well, continuing. Uthra, this is for you.
So, will you forgive Jeremy slash Danuj if he ever comes back to you?

Uthra: I'd love to say that I'm such a nice soul and that like every female lead in every freaking novel who is so annoyingly selfless, I'd also be so selfless and forgive him but nope. I'd probably punch him and ask him to get lost (2020 A/N: Uthra, cut my son some slack, will you?)

Rohan: That's my girl *fist bumps*

—> Interviewer: Haha, a total baddie I guess. And our next question.
So Ryan, you've had more skinship with Uthra than even Rohan. Your thoughts on it?

Ryan: *looks around clueless* Man, what's skinship?

—> Interviewer: Ahem, that was uneventful, I guess. And I think you people will be happy to know that this is the last question.
People want to know what all of you have pursued after your graduation from school.

Uthra: Well, I'm a Civil Engineer and I succeeded my appa when he retired. Now after our marriage, both Rohan and I deal with it together.

Rohan: I actually am a Civil Engineer too, though we did our majors in different colleges. You don't really know about my background, but my dad also owns a construction company along with being partners in a couple of schools and other institutions.

Rohit: I'm a professional stylist. Haha I know you guys would be surprised since I was that lanky kid with messy hair and glasses but never judge a book by its cover. At first it was tough and I hardly had anything to make ends meet but when skills paved off, it was a steady climb up. I even style movie stars now. Life's good *smiles*

Ryan: As hard as it seems, I'm a doctor. Doing my post graduation now. Want a checkup? And no not for free. Got student loans to pay off and got a huge mouth to feed.

Hrithik: I succeeded my father in his business of Iron mining. Like Rohit said, life's good.

Karan: Well, I'm working a couple of odd jobs to make ends meet. I live in a tattered house with a leaking ceiling and all that shit.

Everyone: ...

Karan: What? Okay, I'll stop. I'm a therapist.

Everyone except Hrithik: *gasps*

Uthra: YOU?! You'd drive them crazy! There's nothing therapeutic about you!

Karan: *bows* Thanks you.

Uthra: That wasn't a compliment!

Karan: I know *smirks* Like my other dorky, fairy princess junior Rohit said, never judge a book by its cover. I'm one of the best therapists in the city. But even professionals need a break right? And my break is bullying my beloved juniors.

Everyone: *face palms*

Kai: I was the same age as them when I started out and freshly out of school but now I'm a dentist.

—> Interviewer: So it was a hell of a ride having you people here with us tonight *mutters under breath* Not really. Weirdos.

Guess it is time for goodbye. Thanks for answering everything with an open mind and with such charisma.

Karan: Lady, are you trying to hit on us?

Interviewer: Uh, showering you with praises is part of my job.

Ryan: *grabs mic from Karan* Well thanks for all the love you gave us, people. It makes us really happy and though we gave Kai the job to just write down our story, she did an okay job. Extremely okay job.

Kai: *tears up* Did you just praise me, kiddo?

Ryan: Uh, I think I just told the world that you lack creativity.

Kai: ...
