Why?

Why does your heart beat?

Does it really beat just to pump your blood?

Haven't you noticed; it beats faster,

When inside your heart feelings flood.

Why?

Why do your eyes cry?

Do they really cry just to express pain?

Haven't you noticed; they even have tears,

When an achievement you have achieved,

That once you wanted to gain.

Why?

Why do you think we turn old?

Do you really think we're just aging?

Haven't you noticed; Every thing turns better with age,

We turn more mature, more humble , more bold.

Each wrinkle on the skin,

Has a story held within.

Why?

Why is the sky so blue?

Do you really think that blue is true?

Haven't you noticed; it's just scattered light,

But still, it wants to show its beauty to you.

When all these things can be true,

And can have different reasons to exist.

Then don't you think,

 You do too?
