What inspired your novel? 

I was inspired by the injustices the LGBT community suffer in many parts of the world. I have also just been through a bad time where I faced discrimination because of my race, so I wanted to bring that out in my story as well

How long have you been working on it?

Ever since last week

About how many words is it? 

Since its only 4 chapters at the moment, it is only around 4000 words, but I will be updating regularly.

Can you relate to any of your characters? 

Of course. I relate to my protagonist Elizabeth a lot. Both of us are very fond of writing and storytelling. We both love unconventional stories and are both romantics at heart.

Anything that's made at a braai.

Probably a cat, since I love cats.
