Why did you join wattpad?

I really love reading and writing. Back when I was still in high school, my friend told me about Wattpad and I was amazed by the various free stories that I could read. Later on, I decided to make an account so I could vote, comment and add stories to my library and reading lists.

How long have you been making graphics for?

I've been doing graphics in Wattpad/MDC for about 2 years now. However, I've been designing some stuffs since [around] 2012.

How did you get into graphic designing?

When I decided to write my own story here, I badly needed a cover and some graphics for it. That's when I discovered the MDC, but I didn't start designing at that time yet. I left for quite some time and by the end of high school, I came back and joined the MDC. My graphics at that time were pretty bad.

What type of graphics do you make, and which do you prefer?

As of now, I'm doing covers (all types), posters, banners, pure image threads and photo manipulations. I also do other graphics aside from what I mentioned, but I don't feel like I'm that good at those atm.

I must say I love doing covers, posters, image threads and photo manips. One of the things I enjoy doing outside of wattpad's MDC is doing shirt designs.

What is your favourite part of graphic making?

I love discovering and experimenting with different techniques, color combinations, models and ideas. Maybe the fulfillment that I feel whenever I do something that I really love or whenever I finish a graphic and people appreciate my work. One of the greatest things that I like about it is letting my creativity flow and soar. I go where my imagination takes me.  I imagine something, then I create it. I can create anything my heart desires.

How long does it usually take you to make a graphic?

It depends on the type of graphic or if I have enough inspo and resources for it. Some would only take around 20-30 minutes, while others would take a couple of hours.

What program(s) do you use for making your graphics?

PS CS6

Where do you get your inspiration from/who inspires you?

I get my inspiration pretty much from different designers here or in DeviantArt. Some of the designers I look up to in the MDC are sloans, solidarity_, seventhstar, modernism, Ashihara, RebellionOfALifetime and eosophobic

Do you have any tips for aspiring graphic designers?

    Please don't give up on something that you love and keep on striving to improve. Yes, it takes lot of time and effort, but it's definitely worth it.
