Why did you join wattpad?

In middle school, one of my best friends told me about this app/website. She would come to school every day, tired because she would stay up late reading a fic, and say how much she enjoyed reading stuff on Wattpad. Being the curious person that I am, I decided to make an account and see if I liked it or not.

How long have you been making graphics for?

For almost two years now.

How did you get into graphic designing? 

When I first joined Wattpad, I noticed how authors had all of these beautiful covers, and I wanted to know how to make one. I searched on Wattpad and found a book cover tips book. I was in awe of how she, -voidallison, able to make a cover from an app on her phone. Then I thought to myself if she can do it, so can I. So I made a new account and opened a cover shop.

What type of graphics do you make, and which do you prefer?

I make covers, manips, and headers. I prefer making covers.

What is your favourite part of graphic making?

I love to find the right PSD to use for the graphics, and when I finish it, especially if it's a graphics that takes hours.

How long does it usually take you to make a graphic?

it can range from about 15 minutes - 4 hours (depends if I feel inspired or not)

What program(s) do you use for making your graphics?

Photoshop cc 2017 and topaz clean 3

Where do you get your inspiration from/who inspires you?

I get my inspiration from cover shops, graphic portfolios on Wattpad, speed covers on YouTube, and Deviantart. People who inspire me are avengeur , supernovass , Iydiamartin , and -voidallison.

Do you have any tips for aspiring graphic designers?

Your first cover isn't going to be the greatest, and that's okay! Get inspiration from cover shops on Wattpad, speed covers on YouTube, and graphics from Deviantart. Have patience when making a graphic and know that practice is the only way to get better. You can do it!
