What is your name?
  Name's Erica, but everybody knows me as Evey, heh.

Why did you join Wattpad?
  I always loved reading and writing, and since 2010 I've been sharing my stories. So when I found out about Wattpad, I /had/ to join.

How long have you been making graphics for?
  I've been making graphics since 2011. Started out with PS CS3, then had a Pixlr stage, upgraded to PS CS5 and now I'm a PS CS6 user.

How did you get into graphic designing?
  Roleplay. I hated Photoshop, but I wanted to make pretty graphics for my characters... So I ended up joining Shadowplay in November, 2011, and have been progressing and making stuff ever since. In case you want to traumatize yourself with what I used to make when I was a noob, you should check my "Old stuff" folder in my Deviantart gallery. It will either make you feel better or plain sicken you with the atrocities that you can find in there, lol.

What type of graphics do you make, and which do you prefer?
  I make any type of graphics, honestly, though lately I barely open PS and I focused on making resources. Anyway, I guess icons are my favorite.

What is your favourite part of graphic making?
  Getting new resources.

How long does it usually take you to make a graphic?
  Depends on which kind of graphic I'm making, my mood, my *insert whichever thing you can think about here*. I can make something in 15 minutes, I can make something in two days. Usually, it takes about an hour to make a composition. I tend to change my mind /a lot/ while building backgrounds.

What program(s) do you use for making your graphics?
  Photoshop CS6.

Where do you get your inspiration from/who inspires you?
  My favorite characters and songs are my biggest inspirations. Also, the way I'm feeling. I have an inspiration folder with graphics from many people, but I don't check it that often. Resources are a good source of inspiration too. As soon as I see certain colorings or texture packs, I start thinking about what I'd make with them.

Do you have any tips for aspiring graphic designers?
  Do not copy others. Do not imitate. The fun part of being a designer is being yourself, doing what you want, expressing your ideas in your very own way. Trying to tell them in someone else's will impact you negatively in the long run. So, experiment. Try out techniques, adapt them to accommodate you. Do not accommodate to what's trendy just because! Develop your own style. I promise you'll be much happier and a hella lot prouder of yourself.
