　　HALLEY VOSS HAS ALWAYS LOOKED TO THE stars, but the stars looked back.

　　Granddaughter to a pioneer of the space race, and daughter to a celebrated astronaut, the cosmos is in her blood, a legacy she carries with both pride and a quiet burden. Her father, Dr. Elias Voss, was presumed dead years ago on a deep-space research mission, leaving a hole in her life that only the infinite expanse of space could hope to fill. Now, as the youngest woman ever chosen for a groundbreaking expedition into the cosmic unknown, helmed by the brilliant but socially awkward Dr. Reed Richards, Halley sees a chance to honor her family and push the boundaries of human exploration.

　　But the cosmos is a fickle mistress.

　　The crew of the Excelsior encountered an unforeseen cosmic maelstrom, a torrent of radiation that ripped through their genetic code, twisting destiny. Five souls embarked. Four returned as legends, embraced by a world hungry for heroes.

　　Halley Voss, however, embraced a nightmare.

　　Her exposure to the cosmic maelstrom was deeper, darker. It didn't grant her gifts; it awakened the inherent entropy of space, a chilling power of unraveling and decay that mirrored the void that swallowed her father. She returned not as a hero, but as a horror, her monstrous, uncontrollable abilities casting her out from the very family she'd found. The world hailed the Fantastic Four, but it feared Halley, labeling her a danger, a stain on her family's legacy. Alone in the shadows, she longed to belong but feared the darkness within.

　　Only one person saw beyond the monster: Johnny Storm. Her sole constant, her unwavering, fiery light in a world of shadows, Johnny saw beyond the destruction, tirelessly believing in the hero she could be, even when Halley couldn't see it herself. His unwavering belief, his relentless encouragement, became her lifeline, the sole light in a world consumed by fear and judgment. He saw her, not the terrifying power that consumed her.

　　But the cosmos isn't done with Earth. Strange transmissions from deep space soon herald the arrival of a silver, surfing enigma, and a being of unfathomable power, radiating an aura that chills Halley to her core — an aura that feels impossibly familiar. They bring a dire warning, and a horrifying truth: the ancient, insatiable entity known only as Galactus, the Devourer of Worlds, is coming. And the terrifying Harbinger leading him to Earth might just be the last person Halley ever expected to see again.

　　With Earth's annihilation imminent, Halley, is faced with an impossible choice: surrender to the fear that has defined her life for the past four years, remain the outcast monster, or finally embrace the terrifying power within her, to wield the very void she dreads as humanity's last, desperate weapon. Can a hero be born from darkness? Can a monster truly save the world?

So, yeah, I watched the new Fantastic Four movie and immediately had a thousand ideas for a fic. Are we that surprised? Anyways, I am so beyond excited to write this fic. Halley and Johnny have already taken over my entire life lol.

Now, before we get started, you should know this fic will have two acts before their arrival in Doomsday. Act one will cover their astronaut training, everyone gaining their powers, before fast forwarding to the Fantastic Four's two year anniversary. Act two covers the events of Sue's pregnancy, Galactus, and their four year anniversary. This is to expand on the movie more, and flesh out some other subplots I will be introducing as well.
