Just a list I made from my head, ones I've seen, and stuff on the internet. Feel free to recommend more! I'll make another list if I get enough AUs.

These will include soulmate AUs, couple AUs, and AUs for the family of friends/teams and everything in between. Feel free to do multiple AUs at once!

High school AU - no powers

High school AU - with powers

Wing Soulmate AU - this can go many ways, so here's a few: 1) when you lock eyes with you soulmate you get wings, 2) when you touch your soulmate you get wings, 3) when you confess to your soulmate you get wings, 4) when you kiss your soulmate you get wings. 

Jewel Necklace Soulmate AU - everyone is born with a jewel necklace around their neck. The jewel changes colors depending on their soulmate's mood. Once the two meet, it turns different shades of pink and red to show how in love their soulmate is.

Jewelry Soulmate AU - you can buy a piece of jewelry that will guide you to your soulmate. It's black until you meet your soulmate. When it turns white, it means you've met/have talked to your soulmate. Once you and your soulmate start dating, it changes to reflect their mood.

Punk Rocker AU - one of the couple is a rocker and the other is a fan/employee/random person they meet

Superhero AU - they're superheroes

Writer/Author AU - one or both are writers/authors who meet (can be rivals or are forced to work on a project together)

Hogwarts AU - can be a relationship, friends, or both. It's magic, everyone!

Angel and Demon AU - one's an angel and the other, a demon. To add angst: they were once both angels, but one fell. They find each other on opposite sides as their duties conflict with their hearts.

Hero and Villain AU - this can go anywhere. 1) they were childhood friends who are still friends outside of their hero/villain time. 2) they don't know each other's identities which leads to a love square of identities. 3) they're roommates who don't know who the other is (this leads to some sad/funny outcomes). 4) they know who each other are but keep it a secret from the media because they're married (or are in love/are siblings). 

God and Mortal AU - one is a god (of any mythology) and the other is a mortal who has caught their eye. Fluff: the god turns themselves into a moral to be with the other or the god turns the mortal into a god so they can be together forever. Angst: the mortal dies and the god must decide if they will go on or kill themself to be with their love.

Mortal and Demon AU - one's a mortal and one's a demon. Mortal summons demon and they kinda fall in love. Other option: they become best friends and share an apartment and bitch to each other about everything from hell's politics to annoying people.

Romeo/Roma and Juliet/Julian AU - they can't be, but their love begs them to be. Will they live out their days together or die together? (change the names if needed)

Hamlet AU - person A's dad dies and their mom marries their uncle. Person B finds out from the dad's ghost that the uncle killed the dad. B tells A who plots to kill their uncle. Romance and death, look up the plot line if you decide to use this. 

Theatre Kids AU - they both love theatre, are cast as leads/partners in the show, and fall in love.
