March 1st.

"Are you two excited to see Uncle Bobby?
  I am.. I'm just sad that he's heading back to Texas today.  I'm gonna miss him coming by everyday.. Aren't you guys?"

Heidi squirms and fusses.

"You're sad too, Heidi?  He's a fun guy to have around, isn't he?" Arvilla pouts.

Just then Arvilla's cell phone started to ring.

"Hello?"

"I'm here.  I didn't want to ring the doorbell since it scared the babies yesterday."

"You're so sweet." Jessica smiles.
"The front door is open, come on in."

"Okay, I'm coming."

Arvilla hangs up and looks down to the twins.

In a baby voice she says, "He's here!"

Soon Robert walks in.
"Hey." He smiles.

"Hi!"

"What's up?"

"We're just hanging out." Arvilla giggles.

"Fun.  Hi babies!  Aw look at them all laid out on mommy.  Livin' the life, huh?"

"Haha!  They sure are." She smiles.
Arvilla then takes a deep breath and looks into Robert's eyes. "You're all packed up?"

"Yeah.."

Arvilla nods and looks down.  She takes a deep breath and smiles to hide her sadness.

"We're gonna miss you."

"Aw, I'm gonna miss you all as well."

"When do you find out where they're sending you after your year in Texas is up?"

"Soon.  I'll keep you updated."

Arvilla smiles softly. "Thanks.  I'm sure you'll love wherever it is.  You always have fun no matter where you are."

"It depends on who I'm around.."

"Yeah well.." Arvilla looks down to the twins and sighs.

"Can I hold them?"

"Of course!  You don't have to ask, just take them." She chuckles softly.

"I didn't want to be rude."

"Oh please!" Arvilla laughs.

Robert takes Joe, and Arvilla hands him Heidi.

"Hi you two.. man, I'm really gonna miss you guys.  I can't believe I won't see you anymore in this baby stage.  Next time I see you you could be walking!"

Hearing that made Arvilla cry.  She was already very emotional, and this only made it worse.

"Are you okay?"

"I'm fine." Arvilla nods.

"Why are you upset?"

"I'm just gonna miss you.  I wish you lived closer, that's all."

"I know, so do I.  I'm gonna miss you too.. Maybe they'll transfer me somewhere closer so I can visit more often."

"Maybe.."

Robert wanted to stay with Arvilla.  He had the money to quit and stay, but he knew Arvilla didn't see him in that same way.

Robert felt being away from Arvilla would be better for him.  If he were away from her maybe these feeling would finally go away.
