Jack's POV
Next day

"Get up!" A guard yells waking me up and my cell door opens and North walks in, "Today you get punished." He says then the same two guards drag me to a room the strap me into a chair roughly making me wince everytime they touch my wounds I got from yesterday's beating. I didn't even start that fight either.

"Now." North starts, "You will get shocked until you learn not to hurt others." He says putting two things on my head. They're going to give me electroshock therapy..

"This is illegal." I say trying to break free from the chair. They're going to fry my brain!

"Not for people like you." He says then turns on the volts making me yell in pain.

The voltage keeps going up and I feel like my head is going to explode with the pain but before it does the voltage stops and I stop screaming and catch my breath then seconds after the voltage goes up again making me scream again and tug on the restraints. I'm going to die...I'm going to die...

I don't even notice the machine getting turned off and the guards dragging me out of the room until I'm back in the common room with the other inmates. The second the guards let go of me I fall to the ground exhausted and unable to stand.

Someone standing next to me laughs, "You didn't last long did you?" He laughs and I look over to a man with black hair and almost grey skin.

"W-Who..are..." I trail off unable to finish the sentence. Y whole body hurts and I'm tired. So tired..

He kneels beside me, "I'm Pitch Black and once we get out we're going to do great things together." He says and the throbbing in my head gets worse and I wince breathing heavily. "For now try to survive, I will get us out." He says then fades away as my headache worsens and I close my eyes.

My breathing slowly gets easier and the pain goes away as I slip unconscious in the middle of the floor in the common room.
