1. Avoid repeating words in the same sentence. Exceptions being "as" "the" "is" etc.

2. Likewise, avoid repeating the same character names more than twice per paragraph. Instead of "( John went to the store. John bought himself some cereal. A monster jumped John and stole all of John's money on the way home. )" use nicknames like "( John went to the store. The blond bought himself some cereal. A monster jumped the young man and stole all his money on the way home. )"

3. Using the brief story above as an example, it is unbelievably important to dress your sentences as well. Avoid using basic, bland words and sentence structure. Also make sure to add personality. This part relies heavily on practice, but here is a corrected example of the story above. "(John decided it was time for a visit to the store. However, having no clue what to buy himself once he arrived, the blond decided to Buy Himself some cereal. Unfortunately for the young man, a monster jumped the-John, robbing him of all his money while returning home. )"

4. Special addon for all you Wattpad girlies: please lord god almighty split your chapters up into paragraphs! Start a new paragraph whenever either there is a topic change or another person is speaking. It doesn't have to be super complicated starting off, just please do that, I beg of you!
