For millennia, the people of the four nations, Rokotai, Orkovael, Kalkar and Valoran lived in peace and prosperity, under the watchful eye of the Tauron Order, powerful mages who protected the four nations from all threats, both foreign and domestic. The United Navy patrolled the skies, and the Army kept control of the vast territory on the ground and the sea.

All that changed, when the Tudor Raiders invaded, their more powerful and more numerous sky ships and armies wiping out most of the defending forces. The Inquisitors, warriors trained and equipped to counteract magic, destroyed the Tauron Order. Less than a hundred of them survived, and of those, most were later hunted down and killed. The rest retreated into hiding. The Inquisitors were assigned to finish off the survivors, and the Tudor forces hunted the remnants of the United Navy and Army, which formed a rebellion against them, aided by Tauron survivors.
