Updates

All right, since this summer has been too quiet, with September approaching us, I really want to get us back on track.

First, the collab: so far, it's going relatively well. Currently Ji is writing her part: next Gren will write hers, then I'll write mine, and we're done!

As soon as the collab write is finished with, we head immediately to start with the seasons. Just to clear it up, "seasons" is basically where we divide our time between three tasks: reviewing, interviewing, and tournaments. We dedicate five months to reviewing season, two months to interview season, and another two for tournament season. When all three seasons pass successfully, it is called a "Year" in GRA terms.

So, let's say we end up finishing the collab by September 15th, this would be the schedule for the Year:

Reviewing Season (where we review books like usual: fanfic finder chooses book, critics review it, admin and secretary post the article): The rest of September, October, November, December, and January (I know it's not technically five months since it isn't all of September, but it's more organized this way). *Also, keep in mind that this isn't officially established yet. Tell me your opinions - do you think five months is too much for one season? Should we decrease it to four or three, or is five good?

Interview season (where the fanfic finder chooses which author to interview - who must be a Pokemon fanfic writer - and the theme of the interview is decided by the the admin [examples include general, Pokemon, writing, sports, etc.] and each staff member chooses three questions to ask, hence compiling an interview.): February, March

Tournament season (where we host tournaments: the club decides on a system, and the critics judge. Both inner and outer club tournaments will be set up): April, May

Also, because our group artist, Abby, has basically nothing to do, we'll be opening a cover-making service. It won't be too big, since it's just Abby running it, but any other staff members are welcome to volunteer to help her out from time to time :]

Abbert, your first assingment: make a cover for the cover service book. Be sure to include the title, "Gotta Read Em All: Cover-Making Service!", and be sure to include "covers made by Abbert21".

As for what the cover looks like...hm, up to you for the most part, but maybe you could put a bunch of Pokemon painting, or something like that? If you like, ask Shinju for suggestions, since she's quite a good artist, as well as other members or elders of the club (Helsu, Lostie, Gren, Lumie, etc). Submit it by September 4th.

If you have any ideas or suggestions, leave them in the comments!

Have a nice day!

-Ivy
