T'challa continued to move through the forest, avoiding vines and lower branches with swiftness. Peter and T'challa had been walking for quite awhile now. The end of the forest was nowhere in sight. The strange thing about the forest was that there were no live creatures lurking in the greenery. It was dead, there were no creatures only plants. They continued their journey through and had to avoid some low branches. Peter excepted a snake to hang from the lower branches, like in the Jungle Book.

Peter moved a plant away from his face.

"Hey, um do you know how much longer we'll be in here?" asked Peter. T'challa wanted to answer him but he truly didn't know how much longer and where he was going. Time seemed to be irrelevant in this realm. The orange sky made that clear when he opened his eyes in this plain. It reminded T'challa of the spiritual plain he visited to talk to his father.

This wasn't a spiritual plain he recognized. This meant they were somewhere, maybe nowhere.

"I am sorry I do not know how to answer your question." T'challa apologized. Peter sighed. He felt sweat run down his cheek as he scaled up a tree. Peter reached the top of the unknown species of tree that looked like bonsai. He squinted. There was nothing insight besides a couple trees in the distance and a few hills that gave off the color of sand.

"What do you see?" T'challa calls up to him. Peter looks down to see T'challa looking up.

"Um, nothing just trees, hills and more trees." answered Peter. Peter crawled down like a spider. There was silence for a moment. Then T'challa and Peter went deeper into the greenery where a pond was nearby.

Gamora, Mantis, Wanda, and Bucky continued their long journey towards a new forest with vines and strange plant life. The forest was dead silent as they reached the entrance. No animal noises came.

"No animals," spoke Bucky, "Suspicious. We need to stay high on alert." The others nodded their heads. They followed behind Bucky as he slowly made his way into the forest. The forest had lilies growing from vines. The strangest part was that nothing was stirring, not even the plants.  It was silence before the storm or maybe the quiet after the storm?

"Zeis place gets weirder and weirder." groaned Wanda. Mantis stayed close to Wanda; afraid that she may get lost. Gamora was ahead of them checking the area ahead. Bucky was looking all around his surroundings.

Mantis spoke in a hushed whisper, "I have a bad feeling about this." A creaking noise came from the tree behind Wanda. She flinched and whirled around; ready to hit the object with red wisps. Mantis hid behind Wanda not wanting to become prey. Bucky was the first to act, he rushed over, near the tree and loaded his gun. Readying then firing.

Bucky shoots the tree with a buffet of bullets. He doesn't stop until he is sure that there is no weird creature coming out from behind the tree.

"That was a Rocket move,"  thought Gamora, "I really miss him..he would know how to escape this."

Everyone turns around and looks at each other. Gamora didn't realize she held in her breath until the coast was clear. Mantis sighed in relief and Bucky seemed pretty pleased with himself.

"AHHHHH!"

Bucky, Gamora, and Mantis turned in time to see Wanda being dragged by her foot into the forest. They were too slow to react, all they could do was watch as Wanda was dragged deeper and deeper into darkness.

"So, um," began Peter. T'challa signaled him to to be quiet.

"Did you hear that?!" he asked. A moment of silence went by. The trees didn't stir.

T'challa whispers, "I thought I heard a scream." Peter gives him a frown.

He answers, "Are you sure, there's like-"

CRASH! An object from the sky came crashing down on top of Peter. T'challa turned around immediately. He saw a girl dressed in scarlet. Her hair is in a disarray but she quickly picked herself off the groaning Peter and readied herself for battle.

Red wisps appeared out of her hands as she scowled at T'challa. T'challa raised his hand to wave at her. She began to calm down and the red wisps disappeared. She exhaled loudly then smiled.

"It is nice to see a familiar face." she breathed. T'challa smiled at her.

"Nice to see you too." he spoke. Peter slowly got up to his feet and dusted himself off. He then looked in Wanda's direction.

"It's you." Peter gasped. Wanda turned to look at him.

"Funny, I don't remember you." she said softly.

"You're the sorcerer that Mr. Stark said to be careful of when I fought in the airport." He said.

"Ah, yes you vere the web slinger in the ridiculous costume." murmured Wanda. She could remember how annoying he was.  "What a pain in the ass," thought Wanda.

"I actually go by Spiderman." Peter said offended.

"Spiderman?" questioned Wanda, "First Ironman, then Antman, now Spiderman? I'll  be straight with you, you don't look like a man."

"That's my superhero name!" Peter said with annoyance, "What's your's?"

"People call me the Scarlet Witch." smiled Wanda with superiority.

"Cause you burn people to a crisp?" Peter remarked.  Wanda gave a annoyed look. T'challa decided to step in to manage things or it would get out of hand.

"We need to get out of this forest," T'challa spoke, "We need to keep going." Peter walked behind T'challa and Wanda walked alongside Peter.

"How exactly did you come falling out of the sky?" questioned Peter.

Wanda answered, "I vas taken by zeis creature and before I knew it, I was falling."

"Okay then," Peter began, "Hey, I remember seeing you last time with the android guy...Where did he go?" Wanda and T'challa stopped in their tracks. Wanda closed her eyes, agony was visible on her face.

"He's gone," T'challa said quietly, "Let's keep going don't ask too many questions."

"Yes, or you'll feel my wrath," muttered Wanda. Peter gave a little scowl.

"Well, I need to ask questions." Peter began to reason, "This girl right here made me see a Leprechaun!" T'challa turned around to face them with a confused expression.

"What's a Leprechaun?" he asked.

"A tiny, creepy little person who sneaks around stealing gold under rainbows." answered Peter shivering at the thought.

"Me what ye pot of gold!" Wanda said in a failed Irish accent. Peter jumped in fear while Wanda began to laugh.

"NOT FUNNY!" yelped Peter.

"So why exactly are you angry with her?" asked T'challa.

"At the battle in the airport she showed me Leprechauns!" Peter shouted, "I hate leprechauns!"

"In my defense," sighed Wanda, "You had it coming, you were too cocky, little boy."

"I'm not a boy!" growled Peter, "In any case, your acting more immature than me."

"Enough of this fighting." huffed T'challa, "We need to be allies. We are in a strange place. So safety in numbers." Wanda rolled her eyes and Peter groaned. This was going to be a long hectic journey.

Hey! So sorry for the long wait! I need to really update faster...Anyways hope you like it! Also I know this book is going at a slow start so, don't worry I'm going to keep writing this. One question though, I was wondering if you like the idea that Peter is afraid of leprechauns and Wanda showed him his worst fear when he was fighting her. Let me know what you think of this friendship or frenemy thing.

If I don't update soon, feel free to nag me if I haven't updated in a long time.
