"Last night Caroline had alternate motives to the ultimate girls night" Claire explains sitting beside Kol with her other mates sitting in front of her. "She and Bonnie wanted to do a spell on me. For a while now Caroline noticed I was showing signs of... being..." Claire glances at Kol. He grips her hand and kisses the side of her head. "Of being pregnant" Claire avoids eye contact.

"What?" Klaus blurts. Claire shifts in her seat. Eyes suddenly turn towards Henrik.

"We've been careful," Henrik said frowning his eyebrows.

"It's not yours" Kol growls possessively. Claire leans into him, his arm wraps around her body. He slowly calms down.

"What do you mean it's not his?" Klaus questions. "He's the only one that could get her pregnant," He said. Claire could sense him slowly losing his patience. "Unless-"

"Don't even suggest it" Kol snapped standing up. Klaus glares at his brother and stands up as well.

"What other explanation is there?" Klaus snaps. "If it's not Henrik's, who's is it? It can't be one of ours" Klaus's glare turns to Claire. "It isn't possible."

"It is" Claire whispers as Kol moves more in front of her. Klaus and Kol growl at each other.

"If you think for a second that she would cheat on us, you've lost your mind" Kol snapped shoving him. "How could she hide something like that? Anything that happens to her we can feel, remember? We would know if she's cheated, which she hasn't" Kol shoves his brother again. Klaus retaliates with a shove of his own.

"Enough" Elijah snapped shoving the both of them away from each other. He glances at Claire, who's now sitting with Finn. His arms are wrapped around her, his lips whispering comforting words in her ear. Elijah could feel her fear and he knew the reasoning behind it, they all did. 

They knew how this turned out with Tyler. They knew she feared it would happen again. Only this time would be worse seeing as they're her soulmates.

"The spell Bonnie did is absolute. It's never wrong" Kol growled shoving the paper in Klaus's chest. "Why don't you show a little faith?" He snapped before sitting beside Claire. Klaus's face softens as he looks at his mate before looking at the paper with her dried blood on it.

"Not that I don't doubt you but how is this possible?" Elijah speaks up taking the blood-stained paper from Klaus.

"Caroline's theory is the soulmate bond," Claire said looking up. "She thinks it's one of nature's loopholes." 

"We can have children" Elijah whispers. He, like his brothers, has believed it to be impossible. "You truly are an amazing woman" He grins at her. She gives him a small smile back but she still felt as if she couldn't relax properly, not without knowing Klaus and Henrik's opinion.

Hesitantly, Claire stands up and moves in front of Klaus. Kol stands as well, ready for anything, not truly trusting Klaus at the moment. The hybrid avoids eye contact.

"I would never be unfaithful to you, to any of you," Claire told them. She grabs his face and makes him look at her. "I love you, Klaus. I would never betray you, I would never leave you." She said looking into his eyes. "This baby is a good thing. It proves to us that we can all have a family of our own. That we can have a bright future, a future so bright it'll outshine our past." 

"I'm sorry" He whispers pressing his forehead on hers. She relaxes slightly in his arms. "I'm sorry" He whispers in her ear hugging her tightly. She snuggles in his embrace, his head pressing into her shoulder.

"I love you, Klaus" She whispers to him. "I love you so much."

"I love you" He replies pulling away enough to press his lips on hers. She smiles and kisses him back gently. Slowly, she pulls away and looks at Henrik. He grins and scoops her in his arms and spins her around. She laughs and hugs him tightly.

"You've made us all very happy" He whispers to her. 

"We should celebrate" Klaus grins. "To my baby brother" Klaus slaps Kol on the back. "And my beautiful mate" He grins at Claire.

"How about a nice dinner?" Elijah suggests. "We can invite your family if you wish," Elijah said looking at Claire.

"That would be a lot of people," Claire said.

"We'll rent the whole restaurant," Klaus shrugs. Claire grins and laughs though she knows he's being serious. "Tonight, we'll tell them."

"If you want" Kol adds giving his brother a look.

"Of course, if you want" Klaus agrees remembering that she might need some time to herself before she tells people she's pregnant.

"Tonight will be fine... I'll go make a few calls." She said. She gives Kol a small kiss before walking into another room.

Claire calls basically everyone she knows. She started with her mother, though she didn't answer. She figured she would have to invite her in person, something she wasn't really looking forward too.

She then invited Hanna and her siblings. Claire had a feeling Penelope had already spilled the beans but Hanna didn't say anything. Although the excitement in her voice gave Hanna away.

Claire even invited Bonnie and Jamie. She debated on inviting Matt. He had been trying to be her friend, he even saved Finn from being killed. However, he's still friends with Elena and the others. She didn't think it would be wise for Elena and the Salvatore's to know about her pregnancy and she wasn't sure if she could trust Matt.

"Hey, Caroline," Claire said when she got her sister to answer the phone.

"Hey, did you tell them?"

"Yeah, it went better than I thought," Claire said, the relief evident in her voice.

"I told you everything was going to be alright, they are not like Tyler." Caroline said gently.

"Yeah, now I just have to survive telling mom," Claire mutters.

"Is she coming to dinner tonight?"

"I don't know. She didn't answer her phone. Know where she is?" 

"Probably at work, where else would she be?" Claire shrugs knowing her sister was right. "Do you want me to come with you?" 

"No, all I'm going is inviting her to the dinner. The dinner is when things are going to get interesting" Claire grins nervously. "I'll see you tonight."

"See ya" Caroline hangs up. Claire tosses her phone to the side and changes into some different clothes.

"I'm going to the station. Mom isn't answering my calls." Claire announces as she walks into the living room knowing that even though only Henrik and Klaus were in the room the rest of her mates heard her from wherever they are.

"I'll come with you," Kol said appearing beside her. Claire nods and grabs his hand. 

"I made our dinner reservations. We can show up at any time." Elijah said coming into the room.

"Did you buy the restaurant for the whole day?" Claire asked.

"I don't want us to be in a rush. Besides, when they heard what I am willing to pay, they were more than happy to close it for everyone but us." Elijah grins down at her.

"You spoil me" She mutters kissing him. 

"Elskan, this is only the beginning" He smirks. She smiles shaking her head. She kisses his cheek before grabbing Kol's hand. The two of them got in the car and drove to the station.

"How do you think she'll take it?" Kol asked.

"Well, the last time she tried to force me to get an abortion and when I refused she shunned me until I gave birth," Claire explained. Kol glances at her. "Can't be any worse than that right?" She asked trying to be optimistic.

"You'll have me this time" Kol assures her. He grabs her hand and kisses it. She smiles and gives his hand a squeeze. "Look on the bright side, we're gonna have one good looking kid." Claire grins.

"He'll be a little heart breaker," Kol smirks as he envisions his son. Soon, they pull into the parking lot. Claire doesn't get out of the car right away. She grips his hand tightly as the anxiety builds. "It'll be alright, love" He promises. She smiles at him before they both climb out of the car.

"Let me talk to her, alright?" He nods kissing her forehead. He walks with her into the building but stays outside the room allowing her and her mother some privacy.

A little bit after Claire shut the door to talk to her mother, Kol smelt this overwhelming scent of blood. He frowns his eyebrows and turns his head towards the scent. He could feel his instincts kicking in, his desire for blood. He glances at the door where Claire was and knew he would be back before she was done.

"Hey mom," Claire said walking into her office. Liz smiles brightly at her daughter.

"Hey" She stands, the two of them hug each other. "I feel like I haven't seen you in forever."

"You're not the only one who's been busy," Claire said pulling away. "I tried calling you earlier."

"Sorry, my phones dead," Liz said walking back to her seat. "What did you need?"

"Elijah made dinner reservations. I'd like it if you joined us" Claire said.

"Who all will it be?" Liz asked.

"The Mikaelson's, Caroline, the Souths, Bonnie, and her boyfriend and hopefully you." Claire smiles at her.

"What's the occasion?" Liz asked wondering why so many people were being gathered.

"I'll explain during the dinner," Claire said. Liz frowns her eyebrows and tries to figure it out but Claire just keeps the smile on her face.

"Alright, tonight you said?" Claire nods.

"I'll text you the details. Dress nice" Claire said before walking out of the room. "Kol?" Claire asks looking around. "Kol?" She walks down the hall.

"Claire!" She turns around seeing one of the hybrids jogging towards her. Claire frowns her eyebrows and tilts her head. 

"Kim, right?" Claire asked hoping she got her name right. The hybrid nods. "What's wrong?"

"Megan sent me. They found out she was loyal to you and they took her. She thinks their gonna come for you and sent me to look after you, get you somewhere safe" Kim said.

"Is she alright? Where did they take her?" Claire asked fear spreading through her for her friends' safety.

"I don't know, I told Adrian to speak with Klaus. I ran into Kol on the way here, he's waiting for you by the car." Claire nods and follows her outside.

"We need to find Megan and quickly," Claire told her. "I need to get there before Klaus."

"What? Why?" Kim asked frowning her eyebrows.

"If Klaus gets there after he just finds out that his hybrids are being disloyal, he'll kill them all. If I can get there first maybe I can persuade them to come back, maybe I can save them from Klaus."

"You... You want to save the hybrids?" Kim asks and Claire looks at her. Claire slowly nods. Kim wanted to believe her, wanted to trust her but after everything Klaus has done, she couldn't. However, she did start to feel remorse but not enough to stop. "I'm sorry" Kim whispers.

"What do you-" Before Claire could finish Kim slams her head against the car successfully knocking her out. Scooping her up in her arms, Kim puts Claire in the car and gets in. Adrian jogs over to the car and gets in as well.

"Kol?" Kim asked. 

"He won't be waking up for a while," Adrian says. Kim nodded and quickly drove down the road and away from Mystic Falls.
