"Found Kol" Elijah said kneeling beside his brother who had a freshly broken neck. Elijah sniffed and caught a scent of a hybrid, it was fresh. This meant the hybrid stayed, breaking Kol's neck continuously, until the hybrid most likely caught his scent and ran.

"Claire isn't here, her scent is old" Finn growled walking up to his bother. Elijah slings Kol over his back. They left through the back and returned to the mansion where they had every witch they had searching for their mate.

"How is he?" Rebekah questioned as Elijah put Kol on the couch.

"He'll be fine" Elijah assures her. "He'll be waking up soon."

"If anything happened Claire, I'll kill him." Klaus growled glaring at his younger brother.

"You'll do no such thing" Elijah growled. Klaus's glare turned to his older brother. "Claire is in enough pain, you do anything to Kol and that pain will amplify. I will not allow you to do that to her."

"It was his job to protect her!" Klaus shouted.

"And we will deal with him accordingly. He will be guilty and angry enough when he awakes. You can yell and scold him all you want but you will not lay a hand on him." Elijah snipped at Klaus.

"Elijah's right, Klaus" Finn spoke up. "Let's just focus on finding her, we'll worry about Kol later."

"Tyler Lockwood you open this damn door right now!" Caroline shouted slamming her fists on the door. After realizing she wasn't going away, the door opens but it's not Tyler. "Of course you're here" Caroline growled shoving her shoulder into Hayley's entering the house.

"Hello to you too, Caroline" Hayley muttered closing the door.

"Hey, Caroline" Tyler said coming up to his Ex-girlfriend.

"Where are your mutts?" Caroline snapped. Tyler frowns his eyebrows. "They took her, they took Claire, so where are they?"

"They did what?" Tyler pales slightly.

"If we don't find her before her mates do, they'll be slaughtered." Caroline warns him. Tyler glances behind her and to Hayley. Hayley walks into another room. He distantly remembers Hayley telling him how he needed to take control of the unsired hybrids, how he needed to become the new alpha.

"I might know where they are, come on." Tyler said leaving the house with Caroline.

"Where am I?" Claire whispers as she slowly regains consciousness. She slowly raises her head and sees she's in an old barn. Her wrists are wrapped with chains and attached the the wall.

She looks around, her head pounding against her skull. Her vision focuses in and out. She notices a figure in front of her, she soon recognizes the figure as Kim.

"You're making a mistake." Claire whispers.

"Oh, really?" Kim questions.

"Let me go and I won't tell Klaus." Claire tells her truthfully. "There's still time."

"There is no time." Kim said moving closer to her. "I'm the alpha now. We'll make Klaus regret killing our families, taking our lives away, turning us into slaves." Kim kneels in front of Claire.

"I'll make it right" Claire whispers looking at her. "I'll give you your life back, your freedom." Kim smirks.

"And who will give my little brother his life back?" Kim asks tilting his head. "He refused to become a hybrid, he pissed Klaus off so Klaus ripped his heart out... Right in front of me." Kim whispers. "My brother, David, is all I had left. He meant everything to me" Kim wraps her fingers around Claire's throat, choking her. "And now, I will take the one thing that means the most to Klaus."

"He'll... kill... you" Claire struggles to say. Kim smirks as if she knows something Claire doesn't.

"Klaus won't be around long enough to kill me" Kim smirks squeezing harder. Claire could feel fear taking over her body. She thrashed and tried to get away from Kim. Kim only smiled enjoying her struggle.

Then Kim lets her go. Claire gasps and struggles to catch her breath. She looks up at Kim who's standing in front of her, her arms crossed.

"I'm sorry" Claire whispers. Kim frowns her eyebrows. "For David... If I had known... I would have stopped it."

"Why do you care?" Kim asks tilting her head. "You're fucking Klaus, you're fucking all of them actually. Why would you care about anybody other than yourself?"

"It's an annoying trait" Claire shrugs. "I care about people. I care about them more than I should but it's just who I am. Let me go, Kim. Let me go before Klaus finds you, before any of them find you." Claire pleads. "There's still time. Let me go and run, all of you, just run."

"And we'll be running for the rest of our lives" Kim spat. Claire shakes her head.

"I won't let him hunt you down." Claire told her. "If you let me go, if you get out of town, you'll be free. Free of Klaus, free to make your own decisions." Claire promises her.

"You can't control him." Kim said shaking her head. "And if you think you can, you're delusional."

"I'm not delusional, he will listen to me. Trust me, please"

"Why would I ever trust you?!" Kim shouts punching Claire.

"I am your only chance at surviving" Claire said painfully turning her head to Kim.

"We'll survive on our own. We'll take down Klaus and we'll be free, truly free." Kim told her.

"Then you're the one who's delusional." Claire whispered. Kim growled and punches Claire even harder. Kim steps back and goes to leave her but Claire speaks up. "Megan" She breaths. "Where.. Where's Megan?" Kim simply smirks and walks out of the room.

Claire leans her head back against the wall. Her head pounding even more. She looks at her restraints and tries to pull at them. They groan but don't show any signs of breaking.

Claire stops her efforts as she hears something coming towards her. She turns her head and her eyes widen.

"Megan" Claire whispers as two hybrids toss her friend onto the ground in front of her. "Megan... Megan!" Claire tries to get a response. She can see Megan breathing, barely but breathing nonetheless. "It's going to be ok, Megan" Claire whispers hoping she could hear her. "We'll get out of this."

"Good" Claire turns her head again and sees Kim. "Tell her your lies, reassure her. Tell her everything is going to be ok, just like I did to David."

"Kim, she's one of you. She's a hybrid. Please, spare her" Claire begs. Kim walks over to Megan. She kneels and roughly shoves Megan on her back. Megan releases a painful groan but she doesn't wake.

"She's not one of us." Kim shakes her head. "She's one of you." Claire frowns her eyebrows. "We're at war, Claire. War against Klaus. If you're not with us, you're against us."

"No, Kim, please" Claire whispers. "We don't have to be at war. Please, listen to me!" Claire shouts. "I can save you from Klaus! I can protect you! Do you hear me!" Claire shouts as loud as she can hoping the other hybrids could hear her. "I can protect you! If you let us go, you will be spared!"

"Don't lie to them!" Kim shouts. "We didn't start this war, Klaus did" She snapped. "And we're going to finish it and we will come out on top."

"He'll slaughter all of you if you don't listen to me." Claire whispers to her.

"We'll see" Kim whispers before shoving her hand into Megan's chest. Megan gasps and wakes up. She looks at Kim, who is holding her heart, and then to Claire, who is chained to the wall.

"No, no, no, please, no" Claire begs shifting in her spot. She pulls at her restraints. "Don't kill her."

"Cl-Claire" Megan whispers. Claire looks into her eyes. "I'm sorry" She whispers tears filling her eyes. Claire shakes her head, tears of her own clouding her eyes.

"Like I said, if you're not with us, you're with Klaus and that makes you the enemy" Kim said simply. Before Claire could even blink, Kim rips Megan's heart out. Claire's mouth drops, her heart stops. She watches as the fear, the pain in Megan's eyes amplifies until there's nothing. She watches her body go limp and her last breath escapes her lips.

"No!" Claire screams and pulls at her restraints. "Megan! No!...No" She whimpers. Kim tosses Megan's heart in front of Claire. "I'm so sorry" Claire whispers. "I'm so sorry, Megan" Tears race down Claire's face.

Kim walks in front of Claire again. She kicks Megan's heart to the side. Kim kneels in front of Claire and wraps her hand around her throat.

"Her death is on your hands" Kim whispers. "Anybody who is loyal to you will die."

"Fuck you" Claire chokes out. Kim smirks and lets her throat go, Megan's blood staining her neck. She then grabbed Claire's hand and bent it in a way her wrist wasn't supposed to bend. Claire screams out in pain.

"Stop! Stop it, Kim" Tyler snapped coming into the room with Caroline. "Claire's with us. Alright? We're all on the same team." Tyler said. Kim stands up.

"She's on your team, not mine."

Claire looks away from Tyler and Caroline. Tears continue to slip down her face as she looks at Megan's body. Her eyes were still open, still looking at her.

Suddenly, Claire felt her fingers bending in awkward directions causing her to scream in pain. Tyler and Caroline try to break free from the hybrids grips but it's in vain.

"Ease up, Kim." Adrian said glancing at Megan. He wasn't the only one feeling uneasy about Kim's plan. Megan wasn't supposed to die. A lot of them still felt like Megan was still their friend but that didn't stop Kim from killing her. "Klaus won't like this."

"That's a very good point." Kim nods. "Do you think he'll like this?" Kim asked holding up a very large knife.

"Kim! Don't do it." Tyler snapped. Kim ignores him and the knife inches towards Claire. Growling, Caroline breaks free and races to Kim. She grabs her hair and throws her away from Claire. Tyler breaks free and shoves his hand in her chest.

"I've got you, I've got you" Caroline whispers breaking her free of her restraints.

"She killed her... She killed Megan" Claire whispers. Caroline sighs.

"I know. Come on." Caroline scoops Claire up in her arms and disappears. The second Caroline came to a stop Claire could feel someone grabbing her. She was about to freak out but once she was settled in their arms, she knew it was one of her mates.

"Thank you." Elijah says to Caroline. Caroline doesn't respond but smiles and nods. Elijah turns and carries Claire into the house. "Finn, call Klaus and Kol. Let them know we have her." Elijah demands walking up to his room. Henrik hot on his tail.

Claire whimpers as Elijah sets her down. He bites into his wrist and feeds it to Claire. She drinks it slowly feeling her wounds heal.

Henrik walks to the other side of the bed and sits beside her. He assesses her wounds making sure they were all healing properly. Finn enters the room before Claire finishes with Elijah's blood.

"They're on their way." Finn informs them. Elijah pulls his wrist away from Claire.

"How are you feeling?" Elijah asks softly. Claire doesn't meet his gaze. She curls in ball clenching her eyes shut. Elijah reaches out and runs his fingers through her hair softly. "What happened darling?" He whispers. She sniffles and curls even tighter.

"We can talk about this tomorrow" Finn spoke up. Elijah nods in agreement.

"Where is she?!" Kol shouted the instant he reaches the house. He catches her scent instantly and races to the room. "Claire?" Elijah stands and moves to the side allowing Kol to take his place.

While they had all been losing their minds over Claire and her disappearance, Kol was the worst. They could hardly keep him from destroying the entire town in his search for Claire. They all knew it was because she is carrying his child which causes his animal instincts to be amplified on top of the vampirism heightened emotions.

"Thank God, you're alright, darling." Kol whispers laying in bed with her. She curls in his embrace. "I'm so sorry, Claire... I'm so sorry." He whispers kissing the top of her head.
