"I realise there's something incredibly honest about trees in winter, how they're experts at letting things go."
– Jeffrey McDaniel

I woke up suddenly, feeling empty. I looked to my side and saw that Aiden was gone.
I walked downstairs and saw a note. If you need anything, just call me.
While opening my fridge, I realized I don't have an appetite, so I decided to just sit on the couch and watch some TV.
When I went to go sit down, I noticed the letters just lying around. I really hope Aiden didn't read any of the letters.
I picked up the letters and started reading them.

After reading 3 letters, I checked my phone. I saw that Valerie texted me that she won't be home tonight. And then I saw that Aiden texted me.

Well shit. I didn't think I was ready. Oh well.
I continued to read the letters I wrote. I only had a couple left anyways.

Maybe I shouldn't have read those letters because now I was on the floor curled up in a ball crying.
I couldn't stop. I couldn't breath. I was having a panic attack.
After an hour, I was finally okay.
I got up, washed my face, and went to sleep.
A couple of hours later, I ordered the pizza.
After a while, the doorbell rang, so I opened the door.
"Are you okay?" Aiden asked me.
"Yea I'm fine." I said feeling numb.
"No you're not. What happened?" Aiden persisted.
"Nothing. Just sit down on the couch. The pizza will be here soon." I replied.
I sat down beside Aiden and started to tell me story.
