And A Partridge In a Pear Tree

The rest of the night was filled with joy, love, and laughter. Molly kept trying to talk about what the wedding would be like. But here suggestions were met by Harry and Ginny let out a long yell.

"We just got engaged!" Harry would say.

"Let us have fun tonight and plan the wedding tomorrow!" Ginny would triumphantly yell holding her glass in the air.

Harry would smile at Ginny who was sitting on his lap and then clinks glasses with her. They were both only seemingly talking to each other. Wrapped up in their own world of Harry and Ginny. Constantly whispering "I love yous" and somehow becoming closer to each other.

"Okay. That's enough of that for you two." Mrs. Weasley said pursing her lips. She took all for glasses from Harry, Ginny, Ron, and Hermione.

"What why?" Ron asked offended.

"Bed. That's why?" She responded placing her hands on her hips.

"Fine. We'll get our coats." Ron waved his hands and stood. Uneasily he more stumbled than walked to the front door.

"I'm going to kill your father." Mrs. Weasley muttered watching her son. "You're not apparating like that. Bed!" She demanded pointing at the stairs.

"Oh," Ginny said looking surprised. "Where should we sleep?" She asked looking confused.

"Your rooms." Mrs. Weasley sighed rubbing her forehead tiredly.

"Oh."

The four made their way up the stairs, very slowly and Harry who was holding Ginny's arm to keep her steady looked over his shoulder down the stairs.

"Thanks, Mrs. Weasley!" He called waving and then continued to fall up the stairs.

Ron was laughing giddily as he ascended on the next flight of stairs after the first landing.

"What's so funny?" Hermione asked him cocking her head.

"If the magic in this house were to cut out. We would fall. We are only being supported by magic." Ron said in a high-pitched voice pointing at the ground.

"I don't like him when he's drunk," Harry muttered loudly in Ginny's ear.

"I heard that Harry!"

"Whatever! I'm going to bed." Harry mumbled walking into Ginny's room.

"Harry. You sleep up there." Hermione(who had the least to drink) said pointing up the stairs.

"Ginny is my Fiance!" Harry argued from the doorway. "I can sleep with her whenever the fuck I want."

"When you're tired or drunk. Got it." Hermione muttered making a mental note of what caused Harry to curse randomly.

"Don't put that image in my head!" Ron hissed clasping his hands over his ears. "Too late! It's already there! Now I won't be able to sleep." He groaned.

"Good, give that dragon in your nose a rest," Harry said cackling.

"Why you little-" Ron said making his way towards Harry.

"Nope," Hermione said pushing against Ron's torso. "Bed." She demanded turning him around.

Ginny had walked into her own room and was trying to close her door.

"It was a joke!" Harry called through the crack of the door. " I was only kidding!"

"We are going to sleep now." Ginny gritted through her teeth snapping the door closed.

"I'm not tired," Harry said simply.

"Like hell, you aren't," Ginny answered rolling her eyes. She walked over to her closet and pulled out her nightclothes.

She pulled her shirt off and revealed her white lace bra below. Ginny threw the shirt on her chair and picked up the shirt she was going to be sleeping in.

She stopped short and looked at Harry who was staring at her.

"Don't be a perve." She said covering her boobs with her arm.

"Please." Harry scoffed and blew a loud raspberry on his lips. "Nothing I haven't seen before."

"That's not the point. Just because we have shagged, that does not mean you can stare at my chest willy nilly."

"Oh well, excuse me!" Harry exclaimed sarcastically. "I'm sorry I think you're gorgeous, and I can't take my eyes off of you."

"I just agreed to marry you. Don't push it."

"Okay, you're right. Don't get all feminist-y on me." Harry said raising his hands up to his shoulders.

"That wasn't- no, I'm not having this conversation." Ginny sighed rolling her eyes and walking over to her vanity and pulling out her makeup wipes.

"How do you know where everything is?' Harry questioned. "There isn't even light on in here."

"I used to live here," Ginny said wiping her eyes clean of makeup.

"I don't get why you wear makeup. You look beautiful without it. In fact, you look more beautiful without it! You are the most beautiful person in the whole world. All the time." Harry said walking over to her and pressing a kiss on the back of her neck.

"Thank you, Harry." You could hear the smile in her voice. Thank God, it was dark so he couldn't see her blush.

"Ginny," Harry whispered in her ear gently.

'Hmm?"

"I don't have any clothes to sleep in."

She couldn't help it. A laugh welled up inside of her.

"Sure you do." She said walking out of his embrace. "Here." Ginny tossed a dark green article of clothing at him.

"Is this - Is this my sweatshirt? When did you get this? This is where it went!"

"The answer to all of the questions is yes," Ginny said trying to hold back her laugh. "Here take these too."

"My sweatpants too?" Harry asked shocked after he unfolded them.

"How many of my clothes do you have?"

"Shhh," Ginny whispered closing the door. "Get changed and come to sleep." She said putting her hair into a ponytail and crawling into bed.

"You know," Harry said quickly pulling off his uncomfortable clothes. "We really should move."

"Move where?" Ginny asked half asleep. She rolled over to face him but her eyes were closed. "Do you want to switch sides or something?"

"No," Harry said breathing out a laugh. "Move out of Grimwald Place."

"What why?" Ginny said propping herself up on her elbow. "What's wrong with Grimwald Place?"

"Nothing, It's just- don't you think we should get our own place?" Harry said laying down next to her.

"I like living with Hermione," Ginny said.

"And I like living with Ron. It's not like we won't see them all the time. I want more Ginny time." Harry said scooting closer to her. "Plus it's the offseason soon. You can come to the office. Ron and I already eat lunch with Hermione. You could come too."

"Our own place does sound nice," Ginny whispered relaxing once more. "Out of curiosity, where would you want to move to?"

Godric's Hollow." Harry said smiling with a far-off look in his eyes and a smile on his face.

"That sounds nice." Ginny yawned.

"It does." Harry nodded letting his own eyes droop.

Ginny shuffled closer so her arms were tucked to her chest and she was laying on Harry's arm. He smiled and covered his own yawn. Ginny's face was shining dimly in the deep moonlight. Harry could see the sun-kissed freckles dotting her nose. Running his fingers through her hair, Harry leaned down and gently placed a lingering kiss on Ginny's forehead.

"I love you. He whispered. "And I think you are the strongest most beautiful girl in the entire universe."

"Damn straight." Ginny smiled as she snuggled closer to Harry and closed her eyes.

With a small grin on his face he laid his head down and instantly fell into a deep, hungover, sleep.

_-_-_-_-_-

"AhHH?!" Hermione yelled questioning as the room grew suddenly lighter.

"We were sleeping, "Ron grumbled turning over in his sleep.

"I can see that." Mrs. Weasley nodded with fake sugar behind her voice. "But, if you can drink like adults then you can function like adults the next morning." Mrs. Weasley smiled down at them. "Now, get up. There's breakfast downstairs."

She bustled out of the room and back down the stairs.

Throwing the blanket off herself Hermione looked at Ron with sunken features. "Never. Ever. Am I touching a glass of firewhiskey again." She declared.

Ron tried to match her hungover feature and look just as messy, be he ended up snorting instead.

"Oh shut up!" She sighed swatting his arm. "We have to get home and finish the work stuff we both know we put off."

"I know," Ron said. "She probably woke up Ginny and Harry. We can get dressed and leave together.

"Ahhhh!" Hermione groaned faceplanting back onto the bed.

"You okay, 'Mione?" Ron asked from his dresser.

"No," Hermione mumbled her face still buried in the sheets.

"C'mon. Get up. You can do this." Ron smiled. He picked her up bridal style and carried her across the room.

"Why?" Hermione whined throwing her head back and then resting it on Ron's chest.

"It's okay. I believe in you." Ron said letting her legs down but still letting her hang out his neck.

"I don't understand." Hermione gasped opening the top drawer in search of another one of Ron's sweatshirts.

"What?" Ron said as he pulled on one of his ancient Weasley sweaters.

"You drank way more than me." She sighed. "Why am I dying?"

"Well, " Ron laughed uncomfortably. "When you Ginny and your Mum went shopping in Australia? Harry and I went to the Leaky Cauldron with Neville, Dean, and Seamus. And Dean told us about a thing called Beer Pong. We've played a lot. I happen to have a very high tolerance now. You're also like tiny so."

"Ronald Billus Weasley!" Hermione yelled shocked.

"And you wonder why Harry and I do not like it when you two leave."

"Oh, fine. I'll forgive you. But you do something like that again, I will not be as accepting."

"I promise." Ron nodded smiling.

"Ron? What are these?" Hermione had pulled out a thick stack of letters in different stages of yellowing.

"Oh no." Ron groaned. "I was hoping you would never find those."

"Why?" Hermione asked concern growing on her face.

"Look at them," Ron said closing his eyes and banging his head against the wall out of embarrassment.

"Wait," Hermione said letting out a small gasp of delight. "Are these-"

"Every letter you ever wrote to me? Yep." Ron sighed not taking his head away from the wall.

"Oh, Ron!" Hermione gasped. "This is so cute. And kinda ironic."

"How is this ironic?" Ron asked embarrassment tainting his voice.

"It's just, I did the same thing."

"Hermione, don't kid with me." Ron sighed. "It's early and we are both hungover."

"I'm not joking Ron. I did the same thing. I have all the letters at the house."

"Did you actually?" Ron questioned turning his head so one eye was looking at Hermione.

Hermione smiled at him and crossed her heart.

Ron walked over to her and put his hands around her waist.

"You know if my breath was not horrid right at this moment, I would make with you so hard."

"My breath stinks too. How about we make out after we brush our teeth?" Hermione laughed as she ran her fingers through his hair.

"I can agree with that." Ron nodded.

Hermione grabbed Ron's Gryffindor sweatshirt and pulled on a pair of leggings that were left there by either herself or Ginny at one point. Ron was wearing his dark blue Weasley sweater and black joggers.

Standing in front of the mirror Hermione kept turning and looking at her body from different angles. Turning her head and constantly changing her ponytail. Ron turned and looked at her. What he saw was his beautiful girlfriend pushing in her stomach and adjusting her posture.

Ron walked up behind her and wrapped his arms around her middle. He put his chin on her shoulder and made eye contact with Hermione through the mirror. "Don't do that." He whispered. "It makes me sad. You are beautiful and amazing. You are not fat. You have an amazing body. Speaking from personal knowledge. There is nothing you should be ashamed of. You are the most amazing girl out there. And I love you."

"I don't feel beautiful." Hermione sighed leaning back into Ron.

"You dont have to. I know. And I can know for both of us. And when you are at your worst. I can already tell you that you will be ten times prettier than any other girl." Ron confessed to her kissing her temple.

"Ginny is prettier than me."

"I love Ginny, but, you are much prettier than her. You are also pretty smart. Pretty sweet. Pretty amazing. Pretty the best human on Earth. No one is prettier than you."

"What if I wasn't pretty at all? Would you still love me then?"

"Hermione, I love you. I love your bushy hair. Your big teeth. I love the few flaws you do have and every piece of perfection. But, your looks don't matter to me. You matter to me. I love Hermione. Not how Hermione looks. Hermione."

"I'm sorry Ron."

"You have nothing to be sorry for."

"I'm acting like a stupid teenage girl."

"You are far from stupid. And if I remember correctly, it was the teenage Hermione I fell in love with."

"I hate being wrong." Hermione sighed.

"Good thing it's an uncommon occurrence." Ron laughed. "Let's go eat."

The pair walked down the stairs. Ron had his arm draped over Hermione's shoulder and she had her hand resting on his middle.

"Hey," Ron whispered pressing his lips against her temple. "I love you." Hugging her close they walked into the kitchen.

"I love you too." Hermione cooed walking over to the coffee pot.

"Ugh." Ginny groaned sprawling her upper body over the table. "Romance," Ginny whined disgusted creeping behind her voice.

"You going to have to excuse her." Harry sighed. "We are both very hungover."

"Here," Hermione levitated a cup of coffee over to him.

"Why are you drinking caffeine when we can just go home and sleep all day?"Ginny questioned.

"I can't have a hangover or sleep all day. I need to finish my report." Harry defended as he took a healthy sip.

"Who knew the "Chosen One" would end up with such a boring job," Ginny said dropping her head back into her arms. "I hate so much!" She yelled from the muffled cave of her arms.

"We need to get home," Hermione said setting her mug down on the counter. "We all have things we need to get done. And I really need to shower."

"Yes! Please!" Ginny cried. "Take me home!" She fell to her knees and was holding both of Hermione's hands. "Use your magic and take me home!"

Giggling slightly Hermione helped Ginny stand up and held her hands.

"Get your arse's over here," Hermione said beckoning the boys over.

Abandoning their drinks, Harry grabbed Ginny's hand and Ron grabbed Hermione's.

Hours later Harry and Ron are in the sitting room comparing reports and Hermione is finding a new home phone in a magazine. Ginny is laying on the floor reviewing plays for her upcoming game and polishing her boom with the Broom Repair kit she stole from Harry.

Ding Dong!

The doorbell rang through the house and everyone looked up towards the hall confused.

"Should we answer that?" Ginny asked sitting up.

"We will," Ron answered standing up with Harry.

"We are plenty capable of answering the door!" Hermione defended.

"We know that," Harry said picking up his wand from the end table. "But say it was a crazy group of fangirls. Would you really want to deal with that?"

"No," Ginny mumbled. "But you have no say on what phone we buy."

"That's a deal." Harry smiled walking out.

As the two were walking out there heard Hermione mumble something along the lines of, "Fucking testosterone."

Harry wrenched open the door to find a scrawny delivery man with a large box at his feet.

"Took you long enough." He said holding out a clipboard for him to sign. "Almost bloody impossible to find you." Shoving the box closer to Harry with his foot and levitating it with his wand.

Before he could thank the man for bringing his package, his dark green uniform turned to a blur as he apparated away with a loud pop.

"What is it?"Ron asked as Harry carried the box back to the sitting room.

"Dunno." Harry shrugged dropping it on the floor.

Hermione and Ginny kneeled next to the box with Harry and Ron on the floor.

"Harry." Hermione gasped pointing to the label. "Look."

The on the label it read: To Master and his Wheezy.

"It's from-" Ron started.

"Dobby." Harry finished.

Opening the box slowly Harry picked up a handful of the contents. Socks. The box was filled with socks. Handknit or store-bought, they were there. Dobby was one of the few house-elves to have possessions, so he saw it fit to write out a will. Every sock he had ever owned was in the box left for Harry and his 'Wheezy'. Harry didn't know whether to laugh or cry.

"Harry?" Ginny asked. "Are you all right?" She reached out a stroked his forearm.

"What? Oh, Er- yeah." Harry responded distantly.

"Are you sure, my love?" Ginny looked at him with growing concern in her eyes.

"Yeah, it's just- Dobby." Harry sighed picking up a handful of socks and letting them fall slowly back into the pile.

Propping herself up over the box, Ginny pressed her forehead against Harry's. "Everything is going to work out, just the way things need to be." She whispered. Thye moving her hand down to his neck she pressed a lingering kiss against Harry's lips.

Sunday, December Twenty-Fifth, 2002

_-_-_-_-_-

It was around eight at night and Harry, Ron, and Hermione sat together in the third-floor living room. Hermione had finally convinced Ron and Ginny to purchase a television. They had on the evening news in the background. Harry was sitting in the armchair reading a letter from Ginny. She had just lost the semi-finals in France. Her team had to stay for some banquet so she would be back in two days.

Harry, My love, My Fiance!

I wrote to you about the shit game we played Yesterday. But just now another thought struck me. I know we promised to tell Ron and Hermione we were going to move out, together. But because of this fucking banquet thing, I'm not going to be home tomorrow. I really will not have the sanity or stomach to deal with telling them when I get back. So could please, for me, ask them. Preferably right after you read this. I will let you pick the food for the wedding. Or something like that. Just please do this for me?

All My UNDYING love,

Your Fiance,

Ginny

"Hey, Ron?" Harry asked not looking up from the paper.

"Huh?" Ron mused as he glanced away from the TV.

"Ginny and I are going to move to Godric's Hollow. But you two can stay in the house as long as you need."

"Okay," he shrugged. "Wait, WHAT!?" Ron turned his head quickly and looked at Harry in bewilderment.

"Why would you be moving?" Hermione asked concern growing in her voice.

"And don't say 'We're getting married.' I'm tired of hearing that." Ron grumbled.

"Well, we are getting married." Harry started and Ron made a fist at him. "But we have been talking about moving for a while now. We want to start our own family, in our own home. So we just thought, we should move."

"What about us?" Ron huffed giving Harry a stink eye.

"You guys can stay here as long as you need or like. I don't mind. If you move out we can just use it for storage or something." Harry explained keeping his cool even though Ron always had a short temper when it came to change.

"This doesn't sound like a half-baked plan. Have you and Ginny thought through this thoroughly?" Hermione asked putting the book she was reading down.

"Yeah, mostly. Once we talked to you guys we are going to get a realtor and look at a house in or close to Godric's Hollow. Hopefully, we can find a house and get it bought before the stress of the wedding really sets in. We are hoping to have the house by May, so that gives us a least a month to move in. Ginny and I have been talking about using most of the wedding registry to buy things like kitchenware and furniture pieces like side tables that people can ship to us or something. Then we can spend most of the budget on the right house and necessary furniture." Harry finished with a smile.

"You seem to have most of this figured out. Doesn't seem rash or irresponsible. But I'm helping you pack. You nor Ginny know anything about organization." Hermione smiled shaking her head.

"When have I ever been rash or irresponsible?" Harry scoffed.

"I kept a list. It's alphabetized."

"How can you be okay with this!" Ron cried. "They are moving in together!"

"Mate, we moved in together three and a half years ago." Harry sighed.

"With us!" Ron exclaimed making wild gestures between himself and Hermione. "This would be you two, together! Alone. I am not okay with this."

"I hate to break it to you, Ron. But as much as we would love for you to approve of this, in the end, it's not your decision to make." Harry sighed.

"You know how annoying you are? Really annoying." Ron looked at Harry stubbornly. "I'm not helping you move." He grumbled crossing his arms.

"Will you physically stop us from leaving?" Harry questioned hope growing in his voice.

"No," Ron mumbled.

"I can't hear you. You're going to need to speak up." Harry smiled cupping his hand around his ear.

"You heard what I said, Potter. Don't push it." Ron mumbled looking back at the TV.

"Last name." Harry grimaced.

"Ouch." Hermione giggled.

Harry looked up at her to see her smiling. They held their hands up and did a silent air-five across the room.

"I saw that," Ron said not looking away from the news on the screen.

Harry rolled his eye and pointed at Ron as to say "This guy."

"You are on thin ice, Harry," Ron said again, still not looking at the pair.

_-_-_-_-

"Harry!" Hermione screamed from her room.

"What?" Harry yelled back from his room above.

"You and Ginny should get in here!"

"Why?" Harry questioned still not moving from his bed. Then he heard Ginny.

"GOD FUCKING DAMNIT!" She screeched, then there was a pound which meant she probably hit a wall.

Hurling out of his room Harry sped down the stairs and into Hermione's room. His eyes first went to Ginny who was pacing below the window. Her fists were clenched and she was angrily blowing air from her nose and mouth.

"What?" Harry asked looking around confused.

"Look." Hermione shoved the Daily Prophet into Harry's hands.

HARRY POTTER AND GINNY WEASLEY SPOTTED LOOKING AT HOUSES IN GODRIC'S HOLLOW

Was printed on the front page. There was a giant moving photograph of Harry and Ginny walking into a house with their realtor Emily Pinel. The for-sale sign in the front yard was in prime focus.

"Oh, you have got to be kidding me," Harry muttered.

"It gets worse." Ginny spat through her teeth. "Look who wrote it."

Underneath the photo in big fancy cursive writing read: Rita Skeeter!

"Oh for the sake of Merlin!" Harry groaned clapping his hand to his forehead. "So much for keeping the wedding under wraps."

The article read:

War hero Harry Potter and Ginny Weasley were spotted by a patron in Godric's Hollow looking at two of the many available houses. Wizarding Realtor from Exter, Emily Pinel has scheduled many appointments and house showing to the available homes in the small town. There have been recent rumors that Harry Potter is dating his fellow war hero Ron Weasley's little sister Ginny Weasley. The other war hero Hermione Granger a ditzy muggleborn has been told to be dating Ron Weasley. There have been multiple sightings of the three entering the Ministry together. Then they would be joined by Ginny Weasley for lunch. And it is very hard to ignore the 10 Karet ring shining on her left hand. Could Harry Potter and Ginny Weasley be getting married? What is our world's savior not telling us? When is the wedding? Do their families know? Are Harry Potter's Parents smiling down on him? Does he even want to think about the fact that his Mother and Father will not be there? Where are these star-crossed lovers headed?

Happy Christmas Everyone!

Harry crumpled the paper and threw it across the room.

"Ditzy muggleborn?" Hermione quoted chewing on her lip.

"Ten karats?" Ginny questioned confusedly as she looked down at her three-karat ring surrounded by 1/4 karats with a golden band.

"Do their families know?" Harry said disgustedly. "That woman."

"Harry." Ginny gasped grabbing his sleeve. "We can't move there anymore!"

"Of course, we can. We just have to watch if we're being followed. Make sure not to flip her off and mind our business."

"The second part is going to be hard," Ginny whined.

"Shhh. Everything is going to be okay." Harry smiled leaning in close.

"You have to find other ways to get me to shut up," Ginny whispered as their noses touched.

"Why would I do that when I know this works?"

"Shut up and kiss me."

"Ahem!" Hermione coughed. "Could you stop being cute for two seconds? Please? Because we need to get ready. And remember! We are dressing formally! This is an important dinner."

"I'm not waxing my legs!" Ginny said walking out of the room to grab her dress.

"And break the oath?" Hermione asked appalled. "Never!"

Once showered and shaved Hermione pushed Ginny into her chair. She gave Ginny a bold smokey eye look with black, white and green eyeshadow. Her lips were painted a faint natural red. Then she styled Ginny's into a ponytail at the back of her head. Her hair was parted more to the right and her bangs were combed and gelled down to her hair creating a wrapped look. The Hermione curled the ends of her hair so it was cascading down her back. She looked like a bold businesswoman from the Fifties.

Ginny had a dark emerald lace dress. The sleeves went down to her forearms and the skirt went down to her knees. There was a thin black belt around her waist. There was a sharp v-neck and the skirt defined her hips.

Ginny examined herself in the mirror as she put in Silver small chain earrings. "I look like the Twenties and the Fifties got drunk and had a baby." She said.

"Well considering we're going for the vintage look, that's a good thing." Hermione smiled as she unwrapped her own dress from its plastic cage.

"Slow down there!" Ginny called. She guided Hermione down to the chair and started on her makeup.

She gave Hermione a gentle brown golden shimmer on her eyelids and some defining dark brown eyeliner beneath her eyes. Then she put on lipstick that matched her red dress. Hermione didn't need any more makeup. She was beautiful as is. Then she pulled to two sides of Hermione's hair back and curled them. Pinning them down then fell down her back. Ginny took the bottom half of Hermione's hair and also wound them into tight curls. She put them on either side of her shoulders.

(I had no idea how to describe the hair. I tried. Sorry)

Hermione's dress was a bold red. The skirts stopped just above her knees and had lots of ruffles. Her waist was belted at the core with more fabric. The top was a simple short sleeve and a curved u-neck.

Hermione clasped on three golden bracelets on her left wrist and two on her right. Checked herself in the mirror she started out the door.

"Wait, Hermione!" Ginny called grabbing her wrist."You can't go down like that!"

"What why?" Hermione gasped rushing back over to the mirror.

"You're too pretty. It's going to give Ron a seizure." Ginny said looking her dead in the eye.

"No, he won't!" Hermione laughed.

"Don't want to believe me. Fine don't!" Ginny mumbled as they walked out of the room.

The boys were waiting for them in the front hall. White collard shirts. Black ties. Black dress pants and dress shoes. Hermione appeared first and when Ron saw her and noticeably stumbled. Ginny just smirked and kept walking. Harry beamed when she appeared at the bottom of the stairs.

"You guys have to stop doing this." He chuckled. "You keep constantly stunning us with your beauty and it's going to give me heart problems."

"You look beautiful, Hermione." Ron smiled kissing her checks. "And Ginny, you dressed the part." He sighed.

"Shit!" Ginny yelled. She then started running around opening closets and drawers in search of something desperately. "I can't find it!" She yelled exasperated.

"What?" Ron asked confused.

"Where I asked!" She bit back looking at him venom.

"I swear to Merlin, if she is being this moody because you got her pregnant, I will have to kill you." Ron laughed looking at Harry.

"Let me at him!" Ginny yelled lunging for her brother. Harry grabbed her arms so his elbows were hooked around her and her forearms were pressed against his stomach.

"Hey, let's leave." Harry smiled before him and Ginny popped out of the front hall.

Hermione looked at Ron slowly. Smacked him on the head, grabbed his hand, and apparated.

"Harry!" Ginny yelled when they landed just outside the house in the garden.

"I am not letting you beat up Ron right before Christmas dinner," Harry said letting go of Ginny. "But once we get home, have at it." He smiled lightly chuckling.

"You're really annoying sometimes, you know that?" Ginny asked him as they walked in.

"So I've been told." Harry laughed.

They walked in the door and Ginny gasped taken aback. What normally would have been the sitting room was completely transformed into an extravagant dining room. There was a wide oak table with carvings on the legs. It was round and probably seven feet in diameter. The chairs were covered in deep red seat covers and we highly cushioned. There was a crystal chandelier hanging from the ceiling, tree lights were wrapped around the center refelting a green, blue, red, and yellow glow across the room. There was a tree in the far corner swished back, with piles of gifts circling it.

"Woah." Harry gasped with his mouth hanging open in a grin.

"They haven't done anything like this since Bill was still in the house." Ginny smiled looking at the beams of light across the walls.

"When the invite said Dinner Party, it meant dinner party." Harry chuckled.

Ginny walked over to the tree and placed the golden wrapped gifts on top of the rest beaming. Hermione and Ron walked and the air left Hermione's chest.

"Wow!" She gasped her eyes twinking against the lights filling the room.

"Bloody hell," Ron whispered looking at the table.

Hermione walked next to Ginny and placed her and Ron's gifts along with the rest of the teetering pile.

"This is amazing," she whispered.

"It makes me sad," Ginny admitted.

"What why?" Hermione asked turning towards her best friend.

Ginny started twisting her ring around her finger. A nervous tick she had developed. "Mum thinks she's losing us." She whispered hurriedly without moving her lips.

"Why do you think that?" Hermione asked grabbing Ginny's hand to stop her from fiddling with her ring.

"Why else would she do all this?"

"To be fancy?"

"She's pulling out all the stops. So we don't leave or we leave with happy memories."

"We aren't leaving though."

"I know that. You know that. Harry and Ron know that. But she doesn't." Ginny sighed as she began to twist her ring again.

"Then I guess we just have to make this the best Christmas dinner party ever." Hermione smiled grabbing Ginny's hands and walking away with her.

"Uncle Hawey!" Teddy squealed running from the bottom of the stairs to him.

"Hey, Buddy!"Harry smiled hugging him and lifting him into the air. "Well don't you look dashing!"

Teddy wore a white dress shirt, dark blue pants, and suspenders. He had a little bow-tie and a little matching hat.

I'm fancy!" Teddy giggled.

"Yes, you are!" Harry laughed back.

Arthur came out of the kitchen smiling. He had on a dark green shirt and dark grey dress pants and a tie.

"Dad!" Ginny smiled as she went to hug him.

"Hi, baby girl." He smiled giving her a hug and kiss on the head.

"I am hardly a baby!" Ginny pouted mounting her hands on her hips.

"Hey, Dad," Ron called walking over.

Ginny looked at Ron from behind her father and made a line with her finger across her throat. Ron laughed and stuck his tongue out at her for a brief second.

"Mum!" Ginny called into the kitchen. "Need any help?"

"The plates and silverware are next to the stove!" She yelled back. Ginny walked into the kitchen and grabbed a stack of white plates. The nice china.

She sat them down on the table. Hermione trailed behind her with the silverware.

"You know there's a faster way to do that," George said from the doorframe he was leaning on. Waving his wand the stack of napkins spread out in a circle spinning they landed on the plates neatly and evenly.

"George!" Everyone yelled because he had just appeared.

"And Angelina!" Angelina yelled walking in posing with her hands raised above her head with her hip jutted out. She was wearing a mustard yellow pantsuit with a tie on the side.

"Omigod, gorgeous!" Ginny gasped looking at her.

"The yellow is amazing on you Ange." Hermione finished smiling brightly.

Angelina's hair was curled in soft curls cascading down her back.

"We would have been here sooner," George said as he hugged his Mum. "But little miss, Five More Minutes here kept me waiting." He smiled nudging her lightly on the arm.

"Oh hush." Angelina scoffed swatting his elbow.

"It's quite alright." Mrs. Weasley smiled. "we are still waiting for Bill, Fleur, and Victorie. Charlie is still on his way, and Percy and Audrey should be here soon."

As soon as she finished speaking there was a pop outside followed by a loud wail.

"So that's just Charlie, Percy, and Audrey." Mrs. Weasley corrected herself as she walked back into the kitchen.

Fleur walked in with Victorie cradled in her arms, shushing her lightly as she bounced her in arms. She was wearing a light blue lace dress and Victorie had on a poofy pink dress and a matching pink hand band on her head.

Bill followed in behind her in a pure blue shirt and black pants, and no tie.

"I guess Victore is still not a fan of apperation." He smiled as he gently stroked his daughter's head.

"Are ve late?" Fleur asked looking up from her baby concerned.

"You're fine." Ron smiled.

"We are still waiting on Charlie and Percy," Hermione added.

"Oh, thank goodness." Fleur sighed looking back down at her baby and cooing.

The dinner invite said that dinner was going to begin at 7:30 p.m. At 7:29 exactly there was pop and Percy came barging in panting.

"We- made it."He panted through breathes. Audrey followed behind him shaking her head.

"You didn't need to sprint to the door." She smiled.

"Audrey my love." Percey sighed straightening up. "I refuse to be late to Christmas dinner." He smiled walking over to the table with his arm linked into hers. His hair was disheveled and Audrey's lipstick was slightly smeared.

Ron snorted into his chest and Ginny gave Harry a side-eye before taking a loud slurp from her glass.

Audrey wore a dark purple lace dress. The front of the skirt stopped in the middle of her thighs but in the back, the lace went down to the bottom of her knees.

Ginny leaned over to Hermione and whispered in her ear. "Touchy touchy time can be time-consuming."

Hermione doubled over and choked on her own breath.

"Ginny." She whispered through clenched teeth. "That is not funny."

"Your laughter would say otherwise." Ginny defended before sitting back up normally in her chair.

"Dinner!" Mrs. Weasley coughed as she waved her wand.

Food filled the platters in front of everyone. Glazed ham and turkey. Potato wedges and gravy. Sauteed vegetables and. Every Christmas food one could imagine was on the table. The water in the glasses was replaced with a small amount of wine. Everyone looked at Mrs. Weasley waiting for her to give the go-ahead and give them permission to eat. She glanced at the door uneasily before looking back at everyone else.

"Oh!" she gasped. "Go ahead."

Mr. Weasley put his hand on his wife's and gave her a small smile.

"He said he would try to make it. Maybe things just didn't work out this year." Mr. Weasley said gently kissing her cheek.

Mrs. Weasley squeezed her husband's hand and started building her own plate. People were clamoring around making their food and Hermione was extra busy helping Teddy get all of his food to stay on the plate and off of the nice tablecloth. She kept pointing her wand at the stains of food Teddy still managed to let fall, vanishing them instantly she turned to try and serve herself.

There was a squeak at the door that made everyone look up and stop what they were doing.

"Hi!" Charlie called merrily stomping his feet and taking off his cap that was sprinkled with snow. "Sorry, we're late."

"It's okay, my dear! You're here that's all that matters!' Mrs. Weasley called joyously standing up and giving her son a hug. "You and this young man behind you that I don't know." She said looking over her son's shoulder.

Everyone at the table leaned to peer at the new guest. He had dirty blond hair that was slightly curly and grown out. He was short. Maybe a little taller than Hermione. He looked down at his feet when everyone had started to gap at him. But Angelina saw that he had dark blue eyes. They stood out against the rest of his fair features.

"Everyone." Charlie smiled nervously stepping back from his Mum and wrapping his left arm around the blond boy. "This is Dylan. Dylan is my- my boyfriend." Charlie gulped looking up at his family for approval.

"Allo," Dylan said shyly.

"Scottish are you?" Harry asked smiling.

"Yes," Dylan replied still not looking up.

"It's nice to meet you, Dylan," Ginny said smiling.

"Thank you," Dylan said smiling slightly.

"Dylan." Charlie smiled. "This is my family. Mum, Dad. Bill Fluer and their baby Victorie. Percy and his girlfriend Audrey. George and his wife Angelina."

"And Fred," George added. "In spirit."

"Okay, and Fred, George's twin. My brother Ron and his extremely intelligent girlfriend Hermione. My baby sister Ginny and of course we cannot forget the world-famous Harry Potter. Who she is engaged to by the way. And last but not least, this is my actual baby cousin, Teddy." Charlie finished chuckling lightly.

"It's nice to meet all of you." Dylan smiled nodding at each of them.

"Well, it's Christmas isn't it? Sit down fill up a plate, let's eat." Mr. Weasley smiled as he conjured another chair.

Once settled in and everyone had eaten some food and more conversation had started Percy looked up at Charlie and Dylan.

"So, um, how long have you two been together?" He asked.

Everyone looked up interested in the answer because the only person Charlie had told about being gay was his Father.

"Three or so months," Charlie said looking at his boyfriend for confirmation.

Dylan just smiled and nodded.

"And you didn't bring him to Harry's proposal dinner!" George asked in mock offense.

Angelina dropped her head into her hand and rolled her eyes.

"Why do I love you again?" She asked withholding her laugh.

"Because Fred wasn't available for the Yule Ball." George smiled smugly.

Charlie laughed with everyone else and looked at his brother fondly. "I didn't want to steal the show, with Harry proposing and everything."

"Damn right! You better not steal my thunder!" Ginny laughed pointing a finger at her brother.

Charlie made an x over his heart as he pretended to cower away.

"Congratulations," Dylan said looking at Ginny.

"Oh thank you!" Ginny smiled. "Hermione remind me to add Dylan to the guest list. I like him." Ginny smiled. "Everyone else here is on the list of people I have to invite," Ginny smirked running her eyes around the table. "Except you Mum and Dad. I want you there no matter what."

"I'm so touched, Gin." Bill laughed. "It's good to know you love me."

"With all my heart!" Ginny smiled raising her glass. "To Charlie and Dylan, they are almost as cute a couple as me and Harry!"

"Here here!" Everyone laughed clinking glasses before drinking.

"Ginny!" Hermione gasped looking at her best friend from across Ginny's room. "I just had the best idea in the history of best ideas!" She gasped excitedly.

"What?" Ginny asked.

"You should have the wedding, AT HOGWARTS!"

"What's wrong with getting married at the lake, like I have been planning?"

"As beautiful as that would be, where did you and Harry meet?"

"King's Cross, I think," Ginny said looking up from the box she was hovering bubble-wrapped cups into.

"No, like, where did you two meet? Like, get to know each other?"

"Summer, before fifth and sixth year mostly. When he would come to the house and stay with us. It also helped when we weren't bonding over the fact that we were fighting, He- Voldemort, I mean."

"You are impossible!" Hermione cried. "You and Harry fell in love at Hogwarts. End of story. It's Harry's home. Well, a second home. It has meaning. You came out of battle from there together."

"Somewhat." Ginny interrupted.

"Let me finish." Hermione hissed. "Where are you going to find more beautiful architecture?"

"As appealing as that sounds, I've wanted an outdoor wedding since I was little. If we got married at Hogwarts, it would be in the Great Hall. I want to get married at sunset. With the sun shining on the water. And when we walked down the aisle together people would blow bubbles and the picture would look like something out of a magazine. Hogwarts can't give me that."

"But Hogwarts can. You can still have your ceremony by the lake. You can still have your sunset. And there can be a torch-lit path into the castle and the reception can be in the Great Hall. There is plenty of room for tables and dancing. It will be night so the ceiling would be beautiful. Ginny. We can use magic and make the Great Hall better than any outdoor reception could even dream to be." Hermione was enthused looking at her best friend with a twinkle in her eyes.

"Okay," Ginny said hesitantly. "Say we do all that. But it's still a school, and there is McGonagall. How do you think she would feel about me and Harry using her school for a wedding."

"Rember when Ron would laugh at me for spending so much time on my essays? Who's laughing now! Ginny, I am going to get you Hogwarts. You are going to have the best wedding ever! Plus, you wanted the wedding in July. Last time I checked, July was summer." Hermione winked as she put tape over the box of silverware she had just finished packing.

"I'm trusting you on this, Hermione," Ginny said lifting the box into the stack of boxes they had already made Ginny and Harry's things. "Oh, Harry and I closed on the house yesterday, so we want you and Ron to see it today. We're leaving at one." Ginny added.

"Oh, we get to see the mystery house!?" Hermione gasped.

"Shut up and load these into the car," Ginny said pointing to the boxes. "I'm going to go find Harry."

"INCOMING!" Was shouted from the top floor and a box came hurtling down between the staircases. It landed on the floor with a loud thump and the corners of the box crumpled.

"Harry James Potter!" Ginny yelled walking next to the box. "That better have not been valuable."

"Oops. Just my clothes, love!" Harry yelled back.

Then without looking he pushed another box over the edge. Ginny flicked her wand to the right and the box went hurtling into the third-floor landing making a large thump against the wall.

"Oops." She said before walking away.

"That's my badass, Gin!" Hermione yelled high-fiving Ginny as she went down to heave a box into her arms.

"Tell those moran's to get down here and help us," Ginny said rolling her eyes.

"Got it! You two better get your arse's down here or no sex for a week!" Hermione yelled as she grabbed a box. Even from outside, they could hear Harry and Ron scrambling down the stairs.

The car had been enchanted to fit all of the boxes into the trunk and backseat. They would move their furniture later. Once all the boxes were packed away in the car, Ginny and Harry made sure their rooms were empty of their belongings. They stood in the square looking at the house. Harry had his arm wrapped around Ginny's shoulder. They looked at the house from the outside. It only looked like two stories. The front garden was trimmed and kept up by Ginny and Hermione. The paint was chipped. The house looked broken down. Broken down and perfect.

Harry sighed. "Three and a half years."

"New life, new house, new name," Ginny said running her finger along the rusted iron rod fence.

"We're adults now. And we are absolutely clueless." Harry said cocking his head.

"I guess we're just going to have to figure it out together," Ginny said putting her head on Harry's shoulder.

"How did I get lucky enough to have you?" Harry asked kissing her temple.

"I could ask the same question." Ginny smiled. "Let's go to our new house."

"I will drive the car with Ron and we'll see you and 'Mione there in about twenty minutes."

"Yeah." Ginny smiled. Then without speaking she hugged Harry tightly and let out a sniffle.

"Hey, you okay?' Harry asked stroking Ginny's hair and hugging her back.

"Yeah." She sighed, "Its just hormones."

"I'll see you soon," Harry said giving her one more tight squeeze.

As Harry and Ron sped off in the car Ginny turned around and looked at Hermione who had her eyebrows cocked at Ginny.

"I'm on my period, so back up." She snapped laughing.

Holding out her hand Hermione took it and seconds later they appeared in the backyard of Harry and Ginny's house.

For twenty-two minutes Ginny and Hermione sat on the front stoop of the house talking about the wedding.

The boys pulled up and Ron stepped out of the passenger side with his mouth in a perfect 'o'.

"It's- it's huge!" He exclaimed walking up the path to meet the girls at the porch.

The house was painted dark blue.  The trim was white and the shutters were planks of wood painted white. The front porch was lightly stained wood. That went four feet away from the front door on either side. The front door was painted a mustard yellow and had four panes of fogged glass running down the middle.

"The garage is on the other side of the house," Harry said pointing to the left.

"I really like the yard," Hermione commented scanning the front lawn.

There was a white picket fence lining the yard. A gate with a yellow mailbox next to it. There was a cobblestone path leading to the porch. There were about fifty feet between the house and the ferns lining the inside of the fence.

"Let's go inside, " Ginny said fishing the key from her pocket.

Entering the house there were two coat hooks on either side of the door. Then to the right of the entry hall, there was a set of french doors with five by four panes of glass on them. Inside was an office. Then to the left was a formal dining room. The walls had a white wanes coating and red paint. There was a bronze chandelier with crystals hanging intricately.

"We are going to put two desks and a table in the office. In the dining room we're going to have an eight-person table." Harry said as they walked from the open archway through the dining room to the kitchen.

There was a door to the left that leads to the garage. Then the kitchen was an 'L' shape. The fridge is along the same wall as the garage door. Then a few counters places away were the gas stove. On the back wall beneath the window was a sink and then at the end of the back wall counter was a dishwasher. Just for Harry.
There was an island in the middle of the kitchen. Island had four barstools facing into the kitchen. Cabinets beneath. The counters were white granite speckled with black and the cabinets were grey. All the appliances were stainless steel.

Then on the back wall was a sliding glass door that leads out to a patio and a quarter-acre backyard.

"There is enough tree cover back here to play Quiddich," Ron exclaimed looking around like a small child at an amusement park.

"And he asked me why we were so dead set on this house." Harry sighed rolling his eyes.

Back inside to the right, there was a large living room with a gas fireplace. Then above the mantel was a space for a TV. Then next to the office was a small powder room and then in between the powder room and living room were the stairs leading up to the second story.

Once up the stairs, there were five bedrooms and four bathrooms. To the left was one bedroom with a Jack and Jill bathroom between the other. Then to the right was another bedroom with its own bathroom. On the other end of the left side of the hall was the fourth bedroom with its own bathroom as well.

Then at the end of the hall was a set of french doors. The master bedroom. It had two walk-in closets, an en suite, and a small area for chairs or a table with multiple big windows.

Every room had at least two to three windows and not to mention all the natural light on the main floor.

Ginny turned around in the spot her and Harry's bed would be. "What do you think?"

"I love it," Hermione said. "The entire house had hardwood floors. It's all new and updated. I bet it cost a fortune."

"Seven hundred thousand muggle money." Ginny grimaced.

"SEVEN HUNDRED THOUSAND!?" Ron bellowed looking shocked.

"It's okay, though," Harry said. "This is our forever home. I'm just going to have to work overtime for a few months. That's all."

"You guys are crazy." Ron scoffed.

"Do you want to be welcome here or not?" Ginny questioned placing her hands on her hips.

"Fine, fine." Ron sighed. "I surrender."

"Well, we haven't got all day." Harry sighed. " We need to get those boxes unloaded so Ron and I can go back and get the furniture."

"Unpacking. Yay." Ginny said dryly as they walked back down the stairs.

"Hey, you're the one that moved," Ron said laughing.

"And you wonder why," Ginny smirked.

"Hey Draco," Ginny called knocking on his flat door. "Hey, I want to talk to you! Dude open the door!" She called knocking with the flat of her hand against the door once again.

"You know." He said groggily opening the door. "Some people have normal sleeping schedules." His hair was messy and he was still in his night closes. His eyes were squinted at the bright lights in the hall.

"Draco. Seriously?" Ginny said flatly. "It is eleven o'clock. Don't you have a job?"

"Don't you?" Draco responded going to close the door.

"I don't think so," Ginny said pushing the door back open and walking in. "And I do. It's just the offseason." She defended. Pointing her wand at the window the curtains flew open and light came streaming in.

"Why must you do that?" Draco said shielding his eyes. "I don't hear from you in almost three months and then you just come walking back into my life. Like, when we're you going to tell me about the engagement?"

"Oh, Draco. I meant to. It all just happened so fast. Then Harry and I moved and we're all just really busy with the wedding and getting settled into the new house-"

"Yeah, I know," Draco said bitterly holding up the Prophet from Christmas.

"That's actually why I came," Ginny said. "I wanted to give you this,",  she said holding out a light green and gold cardstock invitation to the wedding. "And I also wanted to invite you to the new house to do lunch. I didn't know if you had a phone and I thought writing a letter would be pointless. So, I just came here. Are you mad?"

Draco took the invite from Ginny's hand and scanned over it.

"July seventh. I'll see if I can go. Hogwarts! You're getting married at Hogwarts?" He asked with his mouth hanging open slightly.

"Hermione wrote a novel trying to convince McGonagall," Ginny muttered. "Steak or fish?" She asked pulling out a small notebook.

"Do you even have to ask?"

"Steak, I know. I'm just making sure." Ginny said creating a tally. "So about lunch?"

"Let me change," Draco said as he began to pull his shirt.

"Draco!" Ginny yelled. "At least let me get to the hall. I'm getting married for the sake of Merlin!" Ginny gasped running out the door.

She just heard Draco cackling behind her.

"Shut your mouth Malfoy." Ginny snapped at him, but he could hear the laugh in her voice.

Draco had pulled on light acid-washed jeans and a tight black t-shirt.

"You're going to freeze," Ginny remarked giving him a once over.

Grabbing a dark green hoodie off the hook by his door Draco raised his eyebrows at Ginny before pulling it on. Grabbing his hand Ginny moved him from the doorway to his flat to the porch of her house.

Walking inside Ginny slid off her coat and hung it on the hooks. There were boxes scattered everywhere. Halfway unpacked and bubble wrap scattered on every surface area.

"Sorry, for the mess," Ginny said walking into the kitchen. "This is the kitchen and over there is the living room."

"Please." Draco held up his hand stopping her. "Spare me the tour."

"Oh." She said closing her mouth. "What do you want? Coffee, juice, we have cranberry juice. Would you like that?"

"Cranberry juice and vodka are so good," Draco muttered to himself as he sat down on a barstool at the island.

"I know the word 'vodka' did not just come out of your mouth," Ginny said snapping the fridge closed and spinning around to face Draco. "Because you are sober."

"You know, coffee sounds amazing." Draco smiled smugly changing the subject.

"Is it too late to uninvite you from the wedding?" Ginny said filling up the coffee pot.

"Yes." Draco smiled.

"Sugar? Cream?" Ginny said reaching up to the cupboard to find the sugar.

"I take my coffee black," Draco said sounding halfway polite. "Like my soul."

Ginny threw her head back and laughed. "Omigod." She gasped holding her chest from losing her breath. You sound like a twelve-year-old trying to be edgy." She smiled grabbing two mugs.

"Why Ginny." Draco gasped. "Haven't you heard? I am an edgy twelve-year-old." Draco smiled pretending to look offended.

"Why are we friends?" Ginny laughed putting the coffee down and sliding into the seat next to Draco.

"Because I'm  cute!" Draco smiled in a baby voice. "Ok but, real talk. How many children are you planning on having?"

"What! What does that have to do with anything?' Ginny questioned looking confused.

"If you're not planning on having lots of kids, why the mini-mansion?"

"Is your Malfoy Manor feeling challenged by my house?" Ginny taunted laughing.

"Oh please!" Draco scoffed. "You would get lost in my house compared to this dollhouse."

"Oh sure." Ginny blew a raspberry and sipped her coffee.

"I'm still waiting for an answer. How many kids?" Draco said drumming his fingers against the counter.

Ginny glanced at the dining room table. "Five." She muttered into her cup.

"I'm sorry what!" Draco said cupping his hand over his ear. "You want to give birth to and raise five humans."

"Tell anyone and I slit your throat," Ginny grumbled.

"You're funny." Draco laughed. "You think I'm scared of you." He laughed.

Ginny pulled her wand out and looked at him threateningly. Challenging him.

Draco flinched away and banged his elbow agist the island."Ok, damn!" He gasped holding his hands up in surrender. "No one will know." He promised making a zipper motion against his lips.

"Good," Ginny smiled. "So what's new with you?"

"I have a girlfriend." Draco shrugged taking a gulp of his drink.

"What!" Ginny screamed. "And you waited until now to tell me!"

"It's not that important. Her name is Astoria Greengrass. A year younger than you. Her older sister Daphne was in my year."

"I'm so happy for you!" Ginny smiled hugging him.

"Ah, human contact. I'm scared." Darco said awkwardly hugging Ginny back.

"Why are you here with me? When you could be out with her!" Ginny gasped gesturing wildly.

"First of all. I'm going to need you to take it down like four notches. And secondly, she's not in town this weekend." Draco said calmly. "Speaking of which, where's Pot- Harry?"

"Work," Ginny replied simply. "He has a boring day job."

They sat and talked for a while. Laughing and catching up. Mostly insulting each other. But they were friends, friends who did not get to see each other nearly as much as they wished they could.

"Ginny!" Harry called walking in the door. "I'm hom- WHO THE FUCK!" Harry yelled walking in the door and seeing Draco. He fired his wand.

"PROTEGO!" Ginny yelled slicing her wand through the air creating a shield and deflecting the spell. "What are you doing!" She yelled. "Are you trying to explode the kitchen?"

"Well, no. It's just I saw Malf- I mean Draco, and had a knee-jerk reaction."

"I'm- I'm just gonna go," Draco said disappearing before Ginny could fit in another word.

"You scared him away." She snapped looking at Harry harshly.

"You said you were having lunch with one of your friends. I assumed that meant you were out with Luna or someone. Not in my house with Malfoy!"

"Our house." Ginny corrected. "And I was having lunch with one of my friends. Draco is my friend. I have a dress fitting in three weeks with 'Mione, Luna, Angie, Audrey, Fluer, Victore, and my Mum. That might be what you were thinking of. But I was enjoying the time with my friend."

"Hey, listen, Gin. I'm sorry. I shouldn't have reacted like that." Harry said putting his things down and walking closer to her.

"Put together the desks, then you will be forgiven," Ginny muttered with her arms crossed.

"Deal." Harry smiled. "I love you." He said in a singsong voice.

"I love you too," Ginny muttered stubbornly.

Kissing her forehead Harry smiled and went to assemble some desks.

_-_-_-_-

It was Monday morning and Hermione and Ron had just pulled up in their new car. Hermione walked to the door of Ginny and Harry's new house. Pressing the doorbell, with her thumb she waited. When no one came she pressed it again. Still, nothing ringing it a third time Hermione heard Ginny yelling from the inside.

She snapped open the door. "What! Oh hey- hey 'Mione." Ginny smiled and opened the door a little wider. She was attempting to tame her misshapen hair. She was in a light lavender robe. "You weren't supposed to be here until eleven."

"No, our appointment is at eleven. I was getting here at ten." Hermione corrected.

"Ginny!" Harry yelled from upstairs. "Who's at the door?"

"Oh, oh no," Hermione said quietly. Lowering her voice, even more, she looked at Ginny. "Were you and Harry-?"

"Yeah," Ginny whispered nodding her head. "It's 'Mione and Ron!" She yelled back up the stairs at Harry.

"I'm so sorry, Gin," Hermione said walking in with Ginny.

"It's fine. I'll just make it up to him tonight." She winked.

Harry came down the stairs in a blue t-shirt and black jeans.

Ron walked out of the living room in a dark green t-shirt and light blue jeans.

"We're going to go back to the place in the mall and get our suits tailored." Harry smiled giving Ginny a hug.

"Be back in a bit!" Ron waved. Harry grabbed Ron's shoulder and they started walking outside.

"Take our car!" Ginny yelled after them. Harry gave her a thumbs up and turned towards the garage.

"I didn't need him crashing your car." Ginny smiled. "Okay, well, Luna and Audrey should be here soon. My Mum, Angie, Fluer, and Victore will be meeting us there. There is coffee in the pot. Mac and Cheese in the fridge and lemonade. I also think we have some leftover fancy sandwichs. Help yourself." Ginny smiled as she walked up the stairs.

She hopped in the shower quickly washing. The sweeping on some mascara Ginny pulled on a periwinkle crop top and dark grey jeans with holes in the knees. Paired with black ankle boots. Ginny dried her hair in smooth waves.

Downstairs Luna and Audrey walked in. Luna was wearing dark blue skinny jeans and a blush pink blouse. She paired gleaming white slip-on shoes with it. Audrey had on a black shirt and light blue jeans, with a green and black plaid flannel tied around her waist. Audrey wore black high tops. Hermione wore a flowing mustard yellow shirt and white jeans with dark brown boots.

Walking down the stairs Ginny smiled at her bridesmaids and friends.

"Who is ready to blow a bunch of money on crazy beautiful dresses!?" Ginny yelled jumping down the last three stairs.

"ME!" Luna yelled smiling.

"Are they going to be the same color as the invites?" Audrey asked.

"Audrey," Ginny said turning serious. "If they weren't the same color, I would spaz the fuck out. But do not worry, the three options I have picked out will go well with everyone's complexion!"

"As fun as this is. We need to leave. Like we are going to be late if we don't leave now." Hermione smiled grabbing her keys.

"I'm so excited!" Luna squealed as they drove to the shop.

"I know!" Hermione gushed. "Imagine Ginny is a wedding dress. I might die."

"She's just going to kill us radiating her beauty," Audrey added smiling.

"You guys are making me blush!" Ginny giggle swatting Hermione's arm. "You guys are forgetting that we are also trying in dresses for you. There is going to be so much beauty today. I do not know if my body is going to be able to handle it."

The girls turned up the radio and started singing along with the lyrics happily. Yelling and rolling down the windows to feel the spring air on their faces.

"We're here!" Hermione called happily stopping the car and turning down the music.

Hopping out of the car Ginny went inside. The lady at the counter looked up and smiled.

"Your mother and the rest of your family are already in the back. She told me to look for the redhead." the lady smiled. "My name is Lucy. Come ask me if you need anything." She smiled warmly before looking back down at her computer to resume typing.

The girls all filled into the back to see the rest of the party sitting in chairs and couches.

Once hello's were said and the seamstress Erin introduced herself, she rolled out a rack of light green dresses.

"Actually," Ginny said politely. "I was hoping to fit for the flower girl first."

Of course!" Erin smiled. "She brought out three golden cream-colored dresses for Victore.

Fleur picked up her daughter and stood her on the fitting stool. She pulled on the first dress which was golden and glittery on the top. With a big satin bow tied on the back and a long skirt that went down to the floor, it poofed out a bit but not outrageously.

"Do you like it, Fleur?" Ginny asked looking at her.

"It is very nice." Fleur smiled nodding. "I just wish it was a little shorter."

"Like this?" Erin questioned hiking up the skirt a few inches.

"I love it!" Ginny smiled. "The colors go so well with your dresses! And it is just perfect. She looks like an angel."

"Let me just get her measurements and then she can change back into her clothes," Erin commented pulling out a roll of tape and holding it up against Victore's body.

Once done she took the dress away and brought the rack of green dresses back.

"Where is the Maid of Honor?" She asked clasping her hands together.

"Me," Hermione said standing up.

"Perfect. Go put this on and come out and stand up here." She handed Hermione a dress and she walked into one of the neighboring dressing rooms.

She came out in a light pastel green dress that swept the floor in delicate folding. There was a thin golden band around the waist. The top went towards the neck, over the shoulders, the straps looked the same as the band around the waist.

"Damn," Ginny muttered. "I promised myself I wouldn't cry."

"Ginny, watch your language." Molly scolded lightly. "But Hermione dear. You look positively radiant."

Hermione was showered with compliments as Erin made her measurements and placed pins in areas around the dress. Then Luna, and Angie. The Audrey and Fluer. Then Molly. She was given a long-sleeved creme-colored dress with a thick light green band wrapped around the waist.

Once the dresses had been taken back. Erin brought out a large black dress bag and handed it to Ginny. They all looked at her beaming with anticipation.

"No one is allowed to cry. Because if you start crying, I'm going to start crying, and it will be bad." She warned playfully.

Taking the bag she stepped into the dressing room. They could hear the bad unzipping. The dress ruffling around. The flop of Ginny dropping her clothes on the floor. She knocked on the door twice and Erin took that as a cue to walk in. The sound of the dress being zipped and buttoned sounded. Erin walked out and took her place behind the stool once more.

"Rember what I said!" Ginny called through the door. "No crying." Then the knob clicked and out she came.

In a wave of ivory, Ginny walked up to the stool and faced everyone else. The dress had thin straps. The top was two triangles covering her breasts. Then a thick white belt and a long skirt that only came out slightly more than the bridesmaids. The back was open and just the thin straps ran down and met with the back of the belt.

Molly brought a hand to her mouth and muffled a sob. "Ginny." She gasped. "You're all grown up and beautiful. I know you said no crying but I'm your mother and I don't care."

Everyone was beaming with tears sprinkling in their eyes. "You look absolutely stunning." Angie smiled.

"Just like an angel." Fleur smiled bouncing Victore on her knee.

Audrey's mouth hung open and she was motioning around it trying to make words come out. And failing.

"My words have mysteriously disappeared. I suspect the Nargels are behind it." Luna whispered smiling. Ginny let out a laugh a wiped a few of her own tears.

"Look who's being a hypocrite." Hermione sniffled.

In all honesty," Ginny said looking around. "What do you think?"

"When Harry sees you he might pass out!" Angelina exclaimed.

"You're like the moon on a dark night," Luna said mysteriously.

I know what you're thinking. It's about fucking time! I know. I'm sorry this took forever. And let's hope it's not complete garbage!

Make sure to point out any typos or anything like that so I can fix them!!

This chapter was 11,728 words long. I really hoped you guys liked it.

There was a lot of Hinny and a lot of Hermione and Ginny! I promise the next chapter will be shorter!

But please let me know what you think. Vote and comment!

See you next time Loves!
