Shame is one way to get revenge and what could be more shameful than a disgraceful viral video.

The light from the sun shining through my opened curtains hit my eyes as I felt I was blind and would never be able to play video games.

What!!! Video games. That was the only thing I could think of doing with my eyes.

"Acey!!! Don't tell me you're still in bed by this time" my mom yelled.

"I thought you were supposed to be away till tomorrow" I murmured trying to rub the sleep of my eyes.

"plans changed but that does not give you the right to stay in bed until thirty minutes to when school begins" she said gesturing towards the clock.

Shit!!! It's 7:30am.

I took a quick shower, then put on the first thing I could find in my wardrobe. I barely got to school when they rang the bell.

I had English class first and the teacher was known to be punctual so I ran quickly to class.

The class was rowdy than it normally is and I noticed students looking at their phone  laughing.

What was so fun to watch that the would risk getting a detention for laughing in class.

The class was finally over but it seems that it was not just the English class that there was laughter but the entire school.

"hey acey nice work" Skye said tapping my shoulders from behind.

"Nice work... For what exactly"i asked.

"the video of Jimmy has gone viral"she answered.

"what video" I asked not understand what she was talking about.
"Acey!!!" Jimmy shouted as he walked towards me. His eyes were as if flying daggers could come out and strike me dead. Just then I remembered the video of Jimmy I sent to Tess.
"see ya later bestie" Skye said trailing off. Yeah right, and they say best friends stick together in good and bad times. "I'm not scared, I'm not scared" I repeated giving myself courage. After all he promised me that he wouldn't react.

"what is wrong with you... Are you trying to ruin my life" Jimmy yelled dragging me into the nearest empty classroom.
"what are you talking about" I said trying to pretend I don't know what he was saying.
"oh now you don't know right... What up with that video you posted...are trying to sabotage my reputation"  he asked in an angry tone as if he was going to kill right there.

"You... You can't shout at me because you already promised me you won't react" I said thinking it would bail me out of Jimmy's clutches.
"Promise... Screw that. You made me the laughing stock of the entire school and you are here talking about promises"

"laughing stock..." I said with a little laugh  "just because some people laughed at you then you feel like your world has ended. I know that feeling quite alright and it's only because of you that I always feel that way. Do you remember the night of your party. That night you made me feel so embarrassed that I thought... For some second I actually thought of killing myself but I  changed my mind because someone was present with me at that time. As if that wasn't enough, you pulled another stunt on me with your friends. I know you said it was for the greater good but a stupid stunt like that could have claimed my life. Deep down, I know what you did was to actually prove to your friends what a douche you really are. What made it feel even worse was that I actually have a..." I stopped there knowing I had said more than enough and turned to leave.

"I...I'm...I'm sorry" Jimmy's voice echoed from behind me. "I didn't know what I did would hurt you this much. I'm not trying to defend my actions but what everyone see isn't the real me. All this is just a facade. As you know, before all this abilities stuff came up, I wasn't good with my studies and if I didn't act like the jerk everyone knows me to be then I will just be another rich loser. Being this douche you feel I am is all I have.  I'm really sorry" he said looking at the floor. I turned to see the expression on his face and it felt sincere. I didn't know if it was because I wanted him to mean what he said but for the first time, there was a sign of remorse on his face. "So... Would you forgive me nuggets" he said smiling at me.
"I'm only going to forgive you only because you asked me nicely" I said smiling back at him.
"Okay if you really forgive me nuggets, let me give you a ride home" he offered.
Before I could give my answer, I saw Ricky leaving school. I really needed to talk to him since he's been acting weird lately.
"what do you say nuggets" Jimmy asked again.
"oh!!! Hmm... I don't think I can go with you today. There's something I need to take care of. How about next time" I said already trailing off to catch up with Ricky.

"Ricky wait up" I yelled but he didn't seem to hear me. I increased my pace and finally reached where he was and startled him which made his phone fall on the floor.

"Ace... What are you doing jumping up on me like that" he said a little bit shaken up as if he was being chased by a park of werewolves.
"I've been calling you but it seemed like you couldn't hear me" I said trying to help him pick up his phone but before I could even lift it from the ground, he snatched it from my hands "I'll see you later. I have something important to take care of" he said as he walked away.

What was up with him? He didn't look angry but rather he looked tensed. What could be eating him up so badly that he couldn't tell me.

It was like I gained a new friend and losing an old one at the same time. I  didn't like what was happening at all.

This chapter turned out shorter than expected but hey it's better than not updating at all. Thanks for reading.  Ciao
