Jessica turned and walked away.
She was beyond furious, and hurt.

"Ms. Lange, let me talk to you!" Evan chases after Jessica.

"Get away from me!"

"No! Jessica, wait!" Evan grabs her arm.

Jessica gives him an evil look and yanks her arm away. "Don't touch me!"

"I need to talk to you!"

"Ugh I wish teachers were still allowed to hit students!"

"What is going on?" Sarah was extremely
confused.

"Jessica, go to your room."

"No!  I don't have anything to say to you!"

"Jessica, get in there!" Evan raises his voice.

Jessica sighs and walks into her classroom.

"Sarah, can you please just wait out here for a few minutes?" Evan asks.

"Sure.."

Evan walked in and shut the door behind him.

"I fucking hate you." Jessica said with anger.

"Jessica, listen to me!  I didn't do anything!"

"I just fucking saw you!"

"You saw what?  What was I doing?"

"You were kissing her!"

"Really?  That's what you saw?"

"I didn't actually see it, but I know that's what you were doing before!"

"I wasn't!  I swear to God I wasn't!
  Sarah had just told me something very private and I hugged her because she had gotten emotional.  That's it!  I love you and you know I would never hurt you!"

"I don't know, Evan.."

"You're carrying my child." Evan says in a lower tone.

"Why would I hurt the woman carrying my child?"

"You're a teenage boy.. those boys always break hearts."

"I'm not like that."

Jessica looks down and nervously messes with her fingers.

"You know I'm not."

"What did she tell you?"

"You can't tell her I told you. I'm only telling you this because you're my girlfriend, I'm not telling anyone else."

"What did she say?" Jessica asks, her attitude growing.

"Well I had thanked her for coming to the dance with me, and then I said how I wasn't looking for a relationship, but maybe we could talk more as friends."

"Okay?"

"And she came out to me. Her parents don't approve so she's afraid to tell anyone else about it. She started crying and telling me all of the horrible stuff her parents have told her.. She said she just pretends it was a faze in front of them so they would stop treating her badly. I promised I would keep her secret."

"Oh.."

"Now I feel like she has to keep our secret."

"Why would we tell her?"

"It was pretty obvious out in that hall, Jess. We have to tell her."

"Evan, I'm gonna lose my job!"

"If we don't talk to her she might say something anyway!"

Jessica sighs. "Why did I come to this stupid thing? I could have been at home in my sweatpants watching Golden Girls!"

"I'm gonna call her in. It'll be alright. I don't know Sarah that well, but just talking to her tonight I know I can trust her."

"Fine! Fine Evan, do whatever you want!"

Evan walks out to the hall and calls Sarah in.

"Sarah.."

"I heard everything.."

"Oh gosh." Jessica sits down at her desk and buries her face in her hands.

"I won't say anything."

"I told you, Jessica!"

"Sarah, I know this is wrong.. but Evan is eighteen so it's legal, and I understand that I'm his teacher, but.. I don't know we just.."

"You have a connection."

"Yes!"

"I understand. I have a connection with someone too.." Sarah looks down.

"Who?"

".... Sierra. I wanted to bring her to the dance.. No offense, Evan."

"None taken!" He chuckles.

"I promise I won't say a word to anyone!"

"There's more." Jessica covers her face.

"What?"

"She's pregnant.. With my child." Evan says.

Jessica whines into her hands.

"Oh! Oh wow.. That's- that's.. nice."

"We know it's a lot to take in." Evan says. "But we're happy, right Jess?" He turns to Jessica who was face down on her desk in tears.

"I promise you she's happy." He chuckles.

Jessica lifts her head and sniffles.
"I am happy! Hearing it all out loud again is just making me feel bad for being a horrible teacher!"

"Jessica, you're the best teacher!"

"You only say that because I give you blow jobs." Jessica's voice was high and muffled my her hands.

"Oh goodness." Sarah went red.

"Jessica." Evan chuckles with embarrassment.
"Honey, you really are the best teacher.
Because of you I'm not completely lost in my work anymore. You've given me so much!
.. And I will say that out of everything you've given me.." Evan kneels down in front of her.
"This little squish is by far my most favorite thing out of the bunch." Evan places his hand on Jessica's stomach.

Jessica smiles through her tears.
"I love you so much."

"I love you more, sweet girl."

The two then share a kiss.

"Aw.." Sarah pouts.

Evan and Jessica turn to her.

"You guys are so sweet. I promise you I'll keep your secret! I won't tell a soul!"

"Thank you so much, Sarah!" Jessica says. "I owe you!"

"Nah, you're good." Sarah chuckles. "Love sneaks up and bites you.. falling in love is something you can't help.... This baby is really lucky to have parents like you two."

"Aw!" Jessica cries once again. "Sarah, you are so sweet!"

"Sar, why don't you go out there and find Sierra? I'll take you back home and your parents never need to know."

"Oh my gosh, are you serious?"

"Yeah!"

"Are you two each other's cover ups now?" Jessica chuckles.

"We should be!" Sarah laughs.

"Wanna be my fake girlfriend, Sarah?"

"I would be honored, Evan!" She giggles.

"Oh goodness." Jessica shakes her head.

"I'm gonna go find Sierra!  Thank you both!"

"Thank you, Sarah!"

Sarah leaves the two alone.
Evan smiles at Jessica before locking the door and getting his phone out.

"What are you doing?" Jessica asks.

Evan turns on some music.

"Ms. Lange.  May I have this dance?"

Jessica giggles. "Of course!"

Evan takes her hand and pulls her body against his.

Jessica had such a beautiful smile on her face as she danced with him.

"I'm sorry I yelled at you, honey."

"It's okay.  I would have been mad if I saw you with dumb Danny."

"I know you would have." She chuckles.

Evan then takes a flower from his boutonniere and places it in her hair.  He then kisses her forehead and smiles. "You're so gorgeous."

"Evan.." Jessica melts.

Evan then kisses her stomach. "You're gorgeous too, baby.. Peters?  Baby Lange?"

Jessica laughs. "We can talk about it later."

Evan smiles and once again wraps his arms around Jessica.  The two share a deep passionate kiss as they sway to the music.
