I woke up from my slumber as my eyes were greeted by the light of the sun, I groaned and forced myself out of bed, another long day, this week has been going by super slowly as I've been waiting for my results from the entrance exam, I was sitting in my room watching TV when I heard the door knock, I bolted out of my room and down the stairs, I opened the door to see the mailman.

Mailman: Package for Y/N L/N.

Y/N: That's me! Thank you!

I took the package from the mailman, shut the door and bolted back upstairs to my room. I sat at my desk and looked at the letter in excitement, I opened it up and a small chip came out, I was confused until it began to glow and projected a holographic screen with the one and only All Might.

All Might: I AM HERE IN HOLOGRAPHIC FORM!!!

I nearly jumped from the sudden appearance of the number one hero

Y/N: All Might?! You're working at UA?!

All Might: Uh Huh! You're looking at UA's latest faculty member!

Y/N: Wow...!

All Might then let out his signature laugh, he then halted and put his hand out.

All Might: Anyway, I'm sure you're wondering about your results, I'm here to tell you! You scored an impressive 58 combat points and 17 rescue points leaving a total of 75 points! Congratulations Young L/N, welcome to the hero academia! And if you're wondering about Uraraka, she passed as well!

I felt as if a thousand pounds had just been removed from my body as I sighed in relief.

Y/N: Uraraka...This is what you wanted right...This is the promise I made to you...

Flashback Third Grade

Me and Uraraka were sitting on the swing set on the playground and talking about what we planned in our futures.

Uraraka: Hey L/N, what do you want to do when you grow up?

Y/N: I don't know, Becoming a hero is out of the question, I want to, but I can't even do anything with my quirk besides entertain people, maybe I should become a magician! Hehe!

Uraraka let out a small giggle before slowly looking up at the sky.

Uraraka: Well I'm gonna try to become a hero! For my family!

She looked into the clouds as she smiled and had a sparkle in her eyes. I knew from that point forward that she was going to become what she planned on.

Y/N: You have great ambitions, I'm sure you'll reach those goals one day!

Uraraka: Aww, Thank you L/N! Here!

I was confused for a short moment when suddenly she kissed me on the cheek, I blushed like a mad man as she giggled, we were in third grade so she didn't really think much of it. We looked into the now orange and pink sky for a while, it was silent, but not an awkward silence, more like an enjoyable silence. Suddenly Uraraka spoke up.

Uraraka: Promise me something L/N...

Her words left me confused and I questioned her.

Y/N: What is it...?

Uraraka then gave me a smile that I'd never forget.

Uraraka: You said you wanted to be a hero right? Then promise me you'll try to become a hero, I want to see you happy L/N...

Y/N: Uraraka, you do all of these things for me, why...? Everyone else picks on me for my quirk...so why don't you...?

Uraraka: Because...

I love you L/N...

Her words made my heart skip a beat, I felt something, something I've never felt before, I smiled at her and laughed.

Y/N: Alright Uraraka...I, Y/N L/N, Promise to try to become a hero!

She gave me a smile and hugged me tightly, I hugged her back as I looked at the Beautiful sky, I felt my eyes getting moist, not from my quirk, but from happiness, Nobody has treated me as good as Uraraka, she's always there to pick me up when I'm feeling down, and she never fails.

Y/N: Well, it's getting late, we should go home.

She nodded and we walked home.

The hologram disappeared quite some time Ago as I looked at a picture of me and Uraraka as kids, I began to think of the promise I made to her and the things she said to me that day.

Y/N: What is this...? This feeling...the rapid heart beats in my chest, my knees getting weak...and I just wanna keep smiling forever...I never wanna lose this feeling...is this...is this...
