To those who have discovered the severe lack of chapters you might have guessed that I have had enough of this version of my story. Those books I had started four years ago and though I am proud of them I am also disappointed in myself at how I'd written my characters. In particular Nick. Nick's main arch was supposed to be him redeeming himself and gradually learning to move on from his past. Instead I'd written a cold and sometimes nasty character who continuously hurt the girl he's supposed to love. That's not who I intended him to be. I'd say that part of it was due to the inspiration I had from other stories that were just as toxic but in the end it was my decision to write him that way. Which is why this version is not going to exist anymore.

I've rewritten the story twice more since the publication of this book and even gave it a different name. From tomorrow onward you can find it under another profile under the name 'Scarred Roses'. This story has gone through many changes and with the new version I feel I am finally satisfied with what I have. I feel...proud of it now. Not that I wasn't proud of it before but this new version feels more real to me. To those who were fans of the original version I hope you can come to love the final version as much as I do.
