"AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH-"
That was the man with the scar. When he had opened the door she had slipped into the space between it and the wall and let him enter, watching him as he cursed in another language at seeing the prisoner was gone. She slipped behind him and tried to slam the door, but he saw and moved too fast for his own good. He grabbed the door, not by the handle, but in a way that when she closed it it slammed on his hand. she turned and ran - The layout was unfamiliar to her, but she ran down the hallway to the left, into a door on the right, down that hallway and into a door on the left, aware of the shouting Russian behind her.
Eventually she found a stairway that led downwards and upwards. she started down, watched as the door below her opened, turned and started upwards. this was not good. she was breathing hard and scared. please don't catch me please don't catch me -
She pushed herself closer to the wall as gunfire went off, obviously aimed at her. she slipped through a door and with a nearby chair she somewhat blocked it. she started on to the right, hoping there would be another stairway she could use. she walked quickly, trying to catch her breath. She heard the guys from the stairs banging on the door, then slipped into a room on the left. the door burst open and she heard them rushing around, speaking in their language.
She walked silently. this room was unfinished and empty. she waited for about 40 minutes until the men had moved on, then slipped out and went back the way she came to the stairs. she walked down them, two at a time, and slipped out through the last door. she was following the hallways until she got to what appeared to be a connected garage. there were taxi's here...
she was about to leave when she saw a gun lying unattended on a table. She paused before picking it up. She heard a cough behind her and turned, holding the gun up at the less scary man from earlier. He put his hands in the air lazily, which in all honesty annoyed Alice. she walked backwards, "Hi again! It was nice talking to you guys, but I've gotta go."
"Sounds like you're late for something?"
"I would have escaped earlier if you and your friend didn't interrogate me, so I'm getting pretty impatient."
after a short pause he raised his eyebrows at her, "Have you ever used a gun before?"
This was the first time she ever touched a gun, "Of course i have." she raised an eyebrow at him.
He looked very calm. She walked backwards a few steps when he spoke again, "If you Are going to shoot me, you need to take the safety off...." he took a step towards her.
She stayed silent and tried to figure out what was the safety on the gun. she pressed what seemed to be a button, and something fell out the bottom of the handle. The Russian cringed, "That was the magazine."
"The what?"
He stared at her for a short moment; It was now obvious that she had lied about using a gun and he lowered his arms, walking quickly towards her. She walked backwards and pulled the trigger, but nothing happened. she finally decided to throw the gun at him, but he gained on her and grabbed her wrist, tightly, His fingers digging in to her and twisting the gun away from him. she took a sharp breath. "The magazine," he continued, "Holds the bullets. the bullets are what kills people."
She struggled for a bit, dropping the gun. He looked annoyed and let her struggle while he held onto her right wrist and her upper left arm. she'll get tired quickly if she keeps thrashing around like this he thought. She glared up at him for a moment and he stared down at her, Unflinching but quite amused. then he felt her stand - no, stamp - on his foot really friggin' hard. he groaned but held on, "Let go -" She demanded and stamped on him again.
"Like asking ever works -" He grumbled under his breath. then there was pain in his upper arm. Like; A lot of it. he let go, saw a small knife sticking out of his right arm and then felt her small knee connect with his groin. he lost his grip and she ran away.
